Our stay was intended for one night, our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Tho pool and Jacuzzi were amazing which made us decide to stay two nights. I recommend Fireside to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the lakes region.

We booked a night here for the Black Keys concert. It was very easy to walk to and from the BankNH Pavilion and there were multiple dining options available across the street for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I would highly recommend this property for anyone attending a show at the pavilion. The pools were excellent for quick dips before the show and the morning before we checked out. I gave a less than perfect score for property facilities because the outdoor area for our specific room was underwhelming compared to the other units. Specifically, our patio was right next to the main lobby entrance so we had zero privacy or quiet time at any given time of the day. This is a minor concern since it only applies to that specific room and especially compared to how great everything else was.

Facility provided adequate lodging. The property could be more cared for and updated. A first generation dial tone phone was in the room, for instance. Jacuzzi was inoperative and that was disappointing as it was advertised and a feature that made me choose the property over others. Overall, overpriced and shabby was the vibe.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel has a touch of old-fashioned charm while still offering all the modern comforts. Unfortunately I found Mold in my room, but Lane one of the workers upgraded me to a suite which was in fact moldFREE. I appreciated the upgrade but couldn’t help but be thrown off

The inn is very outdated, right down to the the width of the hallways. The carpet looked like it was the original carpet from the 80’s or whenever the inn was built. The bathroom shower was dirty with water stains that looked old. The shower handles were brown and it just felt unsanitary. The elevator was most definitely outdated as it barely fit the luggage rack and 2 people. If you’re claustrophobic, you do not want to step foot in that. Truly, the ONLY benefit of this Inn is that you can walk to and from the BankNH Pavillion for concerts. We are returning to the area in 3 months but are staying elsewhere and paying for transportation. NOT worth the money or the convenience of being in walking distance to the pavillion.

The location is good and that’s what you’re paying for. The room needs an update for the price that they charge. Could be a lot cleaner also. It’s very close to the concert venue and that’s the only reason to choose this property.

Check in at 4pm and check out at 10 am doesn’t leave much time to enjoy the facility when your seeing a nearby concert. As a person who hates spiders lots if webs everywhere. Is my only complaint. Left a good tip for the maids as they deserved so much more.

Very nice place. Clean. Nice pool. Breakfast is just grab and go items which is limited. Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. Plenty of parking - especially if you have a trailer for your bike. We overpaid for the room during Bike Week but otherwise it’s a good value for what you get.

Very comfortable bed. Noise travels between floors. Bathroom vanity needs updates however was very clean with plenty of towels. Our $300+ room looked over a garden of boat trailers. Need a table on the balcony.

This was a cute little inn with welcoming staff and comfy rooms. May not be super updated but part of the charm. Only con is the walls are incredibly thin which can be hard if you have loud neighbors. Would stay here again!

Great location to the pavilion. Staff were nice, very clean and lovely outside. Place is a bit run down but the biggest issue was the beds were the most uncomfortable ever. Both my husband and I agree we have never slept on such an uncomfortable bed. By night two we barely slept and are still sore.

Large comfortable room with big bed. Our first floor room overlooked the car park at the back of the hotel with sliding doors to outside sitting area. Very clean. We used the outside pool which was a lovely temperature. Breakfast was basic but ok for us to start the day. Only downside was that our room was almost opposite the communal breakfast room which was ok on the first night as the hotel was fairly quiet and no-one used it. On the second morning we were woken up before 7am by loud voices of lots of people getting up and having breakfast early together in the communal dining room before catching their coach. They were very loud! I guess in high season this could be a problem if you are in the rooms nearby.

We stayed one night as we went to a concert at the Bank of NH Pavilion. We were able to walk to the concert without issue, about a 20ish min walk each way. The hotel was very quiet, the pools seemed nice - only downside was that our room smelled a bit like chlorine perhaps given the close proximity to the pool. The entire hotel is very clean. Not the most comfortable bed. We will def stay here again for the next event

Brought my teenage son to Gilford for DMB and we stayed at this hotel as it's walking distance to Bank of NH Pavilion. We had a 1 bdrm suite which was very spacious. Full kitchen with dining room table, pull out couch in living room. We left some DMB posters in the room when we checked out, I was sure they had dissappeared forever. I called the front desk and the manager was so accomodating. She tracked the posters down with house keeping and sent them back to me via USPS. Would definitely stay again!

We traveled from CT and had to be at a wedding in Guilford before check in. I asked for early check in and they made sure our room was ready when we walked in. The staff was very friendly and polite and the whole grounds as well as our room was very clean and comfortable.

It so much better than any other place I have stayed. Also the staff is amazing. I had ran into car problems and had to have my car fixed and didn’t know how long it would take. We were supposed to check out at 10 am but when I explained the situation to the lady at the front desk and told her that I was not sure how long it was going to take to get my car back she didn’t hesitate to allow us to stay until 2pm without charging us. I’m super grateful and thankful for the service and stay here.

Checked in at 5pm, had no plans for the night. Ended up walking to the bank of pavilion for a 7 pm comedy show! Hotel was great, bath and body works toiletries were definitely a treat!! Rooms have a balcony and breakfast was awesome! Who doesn’t love Jimmie dean egg, sausage and cheese croissant!! Definitely worth every penny!!

We had a lovely stay and the staff were incredibly nice. The Fireside Inn was clean but not updated. We love that we had a little patio that we could run out to the car if we needed something instead of having to walk back to the front desk each time. We also loved the animal towel display on our bed (so fun!) and grab-and-go options for breakfast. We hope to stay here again in the future.

We stayed here when we were going to a concert at Bank of NH Pavilion which was so convenient. Our only complaint was the "breakfast included" part. We weren't thrilled with the microwavable breakfast. For the amount we paid (over $400 for one night) we thought it would be a hot buffet of sort but dissappointed to see microwave waffle and egg sandwich....we ended up at a local diner.
