I would have liked if it had a pool. The front entrance looks trashy, but the rooms were nice and clean and I appreciated the bars in the bathroom and the shower was awesome.

Building is pretty rough looking. I know they are going through a renovation but it’s pretty bad . Room was somewhat clean. Beds were super noisy. Blankets were barely thicker than the sheets. Door latch didn’t work right. Breakfast was donuts and cheap pastries. Wouldn’t recommend staying here with kids. Doesn’t feel safe.

I have to say that probably the hotel itself is not at fault. I looked around in Expedia and I found this super 8 that was advertising what we look for in a hotel: gym, free breakfast, pool. the hotel was under construction/renovation looked very unwelcoming. Gym was not there, nor pool and they offered a simple breakfast with industrial pastries, some waffles and coffee. Please,make sure to reflect the reality of what we encounter in the hotels. The only good thing was the lady at the front desk and the room was renovated and clean.

This was motel (not a hotel imo) was very stinky. They definitely are having some serious moisture control issues there. We had to keep our room AC at 61 to try to take the dampness out ot the room. There is no pool contribting to the dampness. The enitre community was booked so we were stuck at this location. We only were there for sleeping at night. We would never stay there again. I initially thought it looked okay because of the updated floors. It was not okay. Floors felt wet, bedding was terrible. They need some serious work there.

Our room and bathroom were very clean and looked nice. Everything worked in the room. The cleaning staff were also very friendly and helpful. The only negative that was bothersome was that the back security door would not lock, and it was at the opposite end of the building, far away from the front desk. There was also a broken vending machine right inside by the back door. That area looked a little abandoned. The front entrance is undergoing renovation work but it didn't interfere with our ability to come and go and inside everything was nice and clean. There are plenty of restaurants and gas stations nearby. We would stay there again.

The beds were comfortable and the staff nice, however the room is very tight with the very stained chair placed along side the bed. Also they used a elementary school sized toilet and a elderly or a person that has knee difficulties would have great difficulties. Make sure you run the shower 5 min. before you use it as you only get drips and after the squealing noise you finally have a decent water flow. The back security door has been broken for awhile and hasn't been addressed. No card key was needed. Over all I wouldn't stay again unless nothing else is available. Again the staff was helpful and was one of the pro's of this visit.

The staff was nice but unfortunately the hotel itself is old and in disrepair. When we entered our room the was a very unpleasant smell. We had to turn the heater on and an awful smell came out of that. We asked to switch rooms. The next room was better but still had an unpleasant smell although not as bad as the first room. Generally, the carpets and floors looked old and stained. All the furniture looks old and worn and badly needs to be replaced. Sheets were clean though. Towels were clean and fluffy. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Hotel itself badly needs to be renovated/updated

The location was excellent. Just off the interstate and close to many different food places and other attractions. The entire facillity was in great shape. Room was clean and fresh and staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was hot and well stocked. Free Coffee and hit tea avaliable 24hrs a day. Will stay again next time in this area.

Location is great but my room was dirty . Waste baskets were full and bathroom wasn’t cleaned at all. Fortunately there were other rooms available. Front desk staff was great and moved me to another room immediately . I was informed that this has been a problem lately. Upon learning this I wouldn’t be able to recommend this hotel.

When we got to our room, we found someone else’s dirty laundry inside one of the made beds. I went to the front desk and was offered a new room. I will say that the night staff was pleasant and attentive and worked to fix our problem. When we went to breakfast in the morning we found there were no hot dishes. I went to the front to ask if breakfast was over. The woman at the counter yelled at me, saying she knew the food was empty and she’d get more when she had time. She then went to the back room, came out with hot food and slammed it into the warmer. She then slammed the lids down and let us know how much of an inconvenience it was to refill the food.

As advertised from the reviews that I read, this hotel was very clean. I was in town for a teacher workshop and stayed two nights. Room cleaning service was done in between the two nights. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel and rooms look they have been recently renovated. This hotel is conveniently located close to many restaurants, coffee shops, Walmart, Target and the freeway. Downtown Alexandria is only a short five minutes away.

We asked for an early checkin (1/2 hour earlier) at the last minute and they accommodated along with changing the room from the second floor to the main floor and they accommodated that as well, so we were extremely happy!! Once we got into the new room, we noticed there wasn’t too much extra room to walk around the beds, window area; it was very tight. So, overall 4/5 stars for that reason.

Our room was nicely remodeled with hard floors, not carpet, which we liked. But, our air conditioner didnt seem to take all of the humidity out of the room, so the floor felt a little tacky if we were barefoot. But otherwise we didnt have any complaints & we would stay again if in the area.

The people above me were incredibly loud. I could hear everything. I had to call the front desk as it went on until 4am. The parking lots was being plowed as well which added to the noise. The walls and wondow were paper thing.

No USB charging ports. Had to purchase converters for phone, fit bits, etc. Also no closet in room- NOT even a hanger! Two days of clothing draped over chair and shower rod- not my idea of wrinkle free clothing. Clean room, small bathroom vanity. Doubt I’d stay there again for the price.

The TV didn't work. I was hoping to watch college football after a long day and the cable was out, or something. Very disappointing. Staff was notified, but nothing was done. Everything else was fine.

We liked that the room was ready early for us since our arrival time-frame was changed. We expected to be later; but the staff were very accommodating and let us check in early. The room had the a I r turned on for us so itvwas very comfortable. Staff was wonderfully accommodating any requests, such as additional blankets. The only thing we didn't care for was the breakfast. We ended up going out instead. The eggs were less than appealing and the bacon was so thin it was see-through.

This Super 8 is very well run. We were forced out of our VRBO rental and stayed in two rooms for one night. The night manager was awesome--professional and caring (she carried my mom's suitcase up the stairs). The rooms were clean and affordable. And, we had a billing issue that was Expedia's fault, but the manager (Becky) stayed late to help us sort it out--so helpful, a rarity these days. Thank you!

The breakfast used an excessive amount of single use plastic. Also the pre-packaged omelet was a bit rubbery or tuff. On the other hand it was very new for a Super 8 and the large TV had lots of channels, including HBO.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast had many options to choose from. They are in the process of redoing floors, which will make the rooms better. Only problem was you could go out the end door, but had to come back in the front because lock wasn’t working. Guests still propped door open, even though they were asked not to. Property was very pretty, and well maintained. I really enjoyed my stay.
