Historic property! Great golf course, but a bit over priced. Ate at Tilly' and Frontier Tavern, both were very good. Loved sitting on the patio at Tilly's for evening drinks. Love having a balcony overlooking the resort. Pool area is terrific, my wife loved the hot tub. So many places to relax, the lobby, library, the porch. My favorite was sitting around the fire pit at night. Staff is top notch, friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful resort. A very challenging golf course. Unfortunately the indoor pool is under construction. We were able to use the spa and loved the experience. I highly recommend this Omni resort. They are keeping up the standards they have at other resort’s.

Absolutely amazing! So luxurious, so much fun stuff to do, incredible hospitality, we felt so spoiled in every way! 10/10 on all scales!! Can’t wait to go back. We ate twice at the Frontier Tavern and had the most accommodative and attentive server named Jessica. She made our night so special. And breakfast at the Crystal Dining Room was delicious! Renting their electric bikes to explore the resort and downtown Bedford was so much fun. And we were thrilled they had a pickleball court for us to use and equipment as well! This place is a must to go to!

For our first time visiting the Omni Bedford Resort, it was a great visit. We loved the spa, the surrounding hiking trails, and the natural mineral springs. Great service and wonderful people within the security and reception staff. Thank you! I would recommend.

It is an amazing hotel, beautiful and elegant, very clean and comfortable. Very well preserved and with a lot of history. It is common in the historical hotels keep the common areas amazing, but rooms are not updated. This hotel is clean and updated everywhere. People are very friendly, and service is great. I would say that food was overpriced, and quality was ok but not for this price range. The best food we had was in 1796 restaurant-steak was very good, however, breakfast buffet and tea ceremony did not impress... Food was on the heavy side and just not impressive. Otherwise, the hotel is amazing.

While the property is very beautiful, the standard room is not very clean. We had stains on our bedsheets and the room lacked basic cleanliness - dirty corners, unclean surfaces. Considering how expensive the food is, it is absolutely boring, bland, and uncreative. Basic service is not great either. For example, one night for dinner, we had to wait 15 minutes at a dirty table and another 10 minutes for the wait staff to bring us a high chair for our toddler. The staff is not attentive in the crystal room for breakfast and our experience was mediocre at best.

This was a beautiful estate and rich of history. However the room was dusty, the coffee pot was dirty, bed broken and had a huge bubble in the carpet. We stayed on the spa side and was told it was quite but we could hear people walking around above us, a couple loudly making love and conversations of others in the hall most of the night. We were not told of the military discount and when asked about it, informed because we booked with a third party it would not be honored. When we complained about the cleanliness and noise, they offered to remove the extra fee they charged but did not offer to clean the room or move us to a quite area. Would not stay here again but would visit the area. Unable to upload pictures of the dust, bed and coffee maker but have them available if needed.

We came across the wonderful property while on a quick road trip! It was so rich with history! Very clean and comfortable! For the price a breakfast buffet would be a nice addition! Would love to have been able to have enjoyed some amenities but it was just an overnight visit! We are at the Frontier on site and found the food to be just average for the price, however the ambiance was nice!

Was very disappointed in our stay this weekend. Our bathroom was dirty and had hair in the corners, a layer of sticky dirt caked on to the moldings and trim and the bathroom vanity had 3 huge rings of brown rust on top. For $500 a night we were super upset.

The staff at this property are INCREDIBLE. Every person we interacted with was kind and gracious. The property was originally built to house guests in the summer only, and we found the bathroom floor in our room VERY cold. We were on the first floor of the Evitt House section. The upper floors will most likely be warmer. The hiking, indoor pool, and exploring the property itself-were full of historic charm and originality. There is peace and quiet to be had in the woods, and enjoying the various springs is worthwhile.

The Bedford Springs Omni is beautiful. The location of our room was average. We were close to the outdoor pool and our room backed to a walk-way where staff walked back & forth. We only stayed one night as we were traveling to another destination. If we were staying longer, I would have requested a room change.

First time staying at the resort. The atmosphere is restful, the staff polite and efficient. Depending upon the location of your room there may be a lot of walking, so if mobility is a concern let the staff know at the time of booking.

The property was absolutely pristine. The cost of the room however for the size and amenities was quite pricey. The rooms are very small and we were right on the end the door going outslammed all night long and woke me up 4 different times. my husband got a massage which he loved and dinner was delicious just really the price for the size and such a disruptive night on the one night we had the grandparents watching the kids was disappointing

The room was not what I thought, it looked huge on the picture and it said that it was deluxe but it was actually the smallest room I’ve ever seen here and this is my 7th time here plus it was a mile away from the lobby, too much walking.

Three days. Loved the upscale environment steeped in history. It was a great stop on a month-long journey. Only (minor) disappointments were the lack of robes in the room and lack of convenient plug by the right side of the bed to recharge phone and watch. Otherwise the stay was well worth the price.

Very rude concierge. The lady purposely did not recommend one restaurant off the property which is bs. Acted like she was doing me a favor by answering my question. Very rude. Not good for resort business. Bar tender lady at the Tavern was rude too. Average hotel. Much better options elsewhere.

If you enjoy first class historic hotels, this is the place for you. Halfway between Washington DC and Pittsburgh, PA. I LOVE the Omni hotel chain. Three other amazing locations are Omni Mount Washington in Bretton Woods New Hampshire Omni Grove Park Inn located in Asheville, North Carolina, and the Omni William Penn in downtown Pittsburgh! Dinners at the resorts Crystal room and 1796 were some of the best food we have ever had, that alone made the trip worth it but massages after relaxing in the spa for the afternoon really brought the weekend to a great end. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to experience great food, and the beautiful mountain scenery this place offered. There is trails to go hiking and really nice indoor and outdoor pools along with other random things to keep you entertained while there.

This is a fantastic property.......beautiful and with so much history. I have come here for many years in late summer or early fall and couldn't have been more satisfied. For the very 1st time though, I was shocked to pay $7 in The Golf Club Restaurant for a cup of coffee when it was $3.25 a cup in the hotel coffee shop. I won't be getting anymore coffee in the Golf Club Restaurant, that's for sure!

We love this hotel. It's rich history and grandeur are a wonderful thing to see. The lobby and the entire hotel and grounds were decorated for Christmas and it was breathtaking. The rooms are very expensive to begin with but the Tavern and Crystal Room are reasonable. One place we will never eat again is the 1796 restaurant. We have eaten all over the world and the prices there are ridiculously high, especially for what you get to eat. We learned our lesson this time and will find a great restaurant in Bedford to have our dinners at.

We had a problem with the Crystal Room-steak was sent back 2 times for medium-came back 2nd time like rawhide! Instead of re-cooking 2 times for medium they should have given a new steak and made it right instead of destroying the original steak. The steak was comped but shd have made it right for the price. 2 desserts were comped to hide error! Staff needs more training-asked for pepper and ice 2 times-should not have to ask several times for an item. Spa was great-shops nice-grounds nice-1796restaurant was awesome-perfect steak and service! Room comfortable-we had a nice time but may stay elsewhere and use the spa. Was not happy with Crystal Room dining experience. Sorry!
