Pool is closed. We didn’t know until we checked in.

No pool and hot tub access which is why we booked! Disappointed!

Both the hotel and Hotels.com said the pool Was open. Their website says “Pool Maintenance” but the pool has apparently been closed since Covid. FOUR YEARS! I only picked this hotel for the pool for my kids. Bait and switch to pay $350+ in Auburn, MA.

I didn't like that the pool was closed, half of the guest laundry room was out of order, the fitness center had limited free weights and the elliptical machine out of order. I also did not like that room cleaning is every other day and we had to discard of our own trash (paper cups, food plates, etc..) in the trash outside of the hotel. I did like the staff and the breakfast served daily was well presented. 3 🌟 🌟 🌟

Staff was fine, breakfast was adequate but the accommodations really weren't comfortable, at all. Upon checking in I mentioned to the guy at the desk how the building looked under construction, he said "oh, they're just painting..." this wasn't true, as I read a sign by the elevator admitting it was under construction and an apology for any inconvenience. By this time it was too late to cancel my booking. Had I known this was the state of the building, I would have booked a different hotel. This should have been in the hotels.com listing because in their signage, they knew full well this was the condition of their facilities. So immediately, it's an irritating scenario. Since the building was under construction, the pool wasn't usable because the room was filled with building materials, this wasn't disclosed at the time of booking. The lighting in the room was atrocious with blindingly intense blue-ish eco-friendly bulbs. Only two really crummy thin bath towels were provided for two guests (Seriously, you couldn't just put 4 in there?) so I had to get more from the front desk. The top sheet on the bed didn't really fit the mattress so it immediately came off the corners of the bed. The "standard" pillows on the "king" bed had to be mashed into a ball to provide any support. The quilt was meager, most hotels have a decent comforter. The lackluster fitness center had a total of 7 dumbbells with little weight variation, not to mention an odd-number is in itself, odd. Awful hotel

The Hilton website for this Hampton Inn states the pool is closed for the next year. Expedia still has it listed that it has a pool when it is not operational. To top that off...they are very misleading because one of their employees told us their pool has not been operational for 6 years!!! This needs to be changed with Expedia because it's very misleading. Many, like us, book for the pool. This property does not have a working pool and it's been that way for 6 years!

Little to no parking as the building was being painted. The windows were completely blocked off with plastic due to painting. Faint smell of paint in the room throughout the stay. None of this would’ve been annoying if it had been communicated that the property was having renovations/painting and we had known to expect this. Other than slight annoyance the property was nice, just a heads up would’ve gone far.

Pool was out of service during my stay

the pool was closed, and they were doing a lot of outside renovations that took most of the parking spots. people had to park in fire lanes and in front of the dumpsters.

The chemical and frangrance smell of this hotel is off the charts. Very strong artificial fragrance and perfumes. Worse in the breakfast area so it was not pleasent to eat. The temperature was uncomfortable because to keep a steady temp, the room would blast freezing air then hot air and alternate all night. It was a rollercoaster of sweating and freezing every 10 minutes. Otherwise the place seemed clean is the only plus.

Shower had mold and base was dirty! Gross! Staff was friendly and helpful. Outside garbage was overflowing and all around the can. My husband said breakfast was great and the staff were nice and accommodating. Easy check in and check out

Our room smelled like Clorox and we were given a product called fabreeze to spray the room with. It was a very noisy room, while trying to sleep, being next to an exterior side door. The worst, was the soiled bedspread, which I didn’t see until morning: totally grossed me out.

The place is nice and comfortable.1 problem, I know hotels don’t change their comforters for every guest.I get that.But our comforter was VERY DIRTY.Clesrly it was time to wash it.Everything else about our stay was good.Took the comforter off myself and replaced it with a clean blanket I found in the drawer.Please do better

Rooms smelled terrible. I had 2 different rooms on different floors and both smelled terrible. Almost like cat pee. We had to buy febreeze from a local CVS to try and get through the night. Cheer Competition locally so hotel and surrounding hotels sold out. We had no choice but to deal with it.

Really like this place but cleaning product odors we’re way too strong in room. Perhaps what they used on the carpets?

The room smelled bad. The bathroom sink didn’t drain properly. The only “creamers” for coffee flavored containers of Coffee Mate. The hotel was in a mall parking lot. The only thing good about it was an upbeat Starbucks was nearby.

The hotel in general and our room was very clean.

Only problem was that a youth hockey team staid there our second night and they were on the same floor as us.

It was ok. TV wasn't working very well & was not fixable. Volume was broken, Lines down the TV & remote's performance was iffy. Manager was supposed to call us & never did. But apparently they knew the room had TV issues due to the note on the front desk. Ddidn't plan for a different room or tell us. Breakfast was ok but the staff around that area had an attitude in certain instances. (ex: someone spilled some cereal & even though staff & the guest were going to clean it, staff was yelling at the guest not to touch it because 'we'll lose our license' - not something to really say publicly & the whole room looked concerned.) Shower was nice. The temperature gage in the room seems to be broken as we tried to adjust it & it never worked. Gym was fine. Would stay again if passing through & note planning to stay in the room for much. Nothing in the ways of compensation but made sure we made staff aware & noted about the damage so we are not blamed.

This hotel is either brand-new or very recently renovated; everything about it is sparkling clean and modern. Plenty of USB ports (always a plus for us) and a wonderful glass shower with plenty of hot water.

Great studio room, spacious with a couch & table allowing us to eat dinner. Room was clean & up to date. Shower head was leaking, but we just shut the bathroom sliding door to cover noise. all in all, great stay!

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Sherry, the front desk manager was very kind and helpful.

Customer service is outstanding, with staff members who are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and professional, always eager to assist customers effectively.

I arrived at the hotel and the female in the front desk told me my reservation was cancelled due to payment not going through. Which was an error. I did not receive a call or email. She told me it happens. What if I got their and there were no rooms available. That was very unprofessional.

Was getting rushed out at check out. They knocked on my door before actual check out… I told them 15 minutes since I was getting out of the shower. The proceeded to harass me every couple minutes.

The hotel desk person was very kind and helpful! She responded to our requests quickly and she was just great!

When we arrived at 9 pm we were told that our reservation had been cancelled because we did not arrive by 6 pm. We made the reservation in September 2023 and they refused to honor it. The hotel was sold out and we turned away with no place to stay.

We had booked a 2 queen bed room. When we checked in to our room, we were surprised to see a king bed with a sleeper sofa. Thinking it was a mistake, we went back to the receptionist. The receptionist said that all their rooms were fully booked and gave us a "take or leave it" attitude. I was shocked by this attitude and this was the first ever experience at our fav hotel chain. I got the impression since this was a third-party reservation and not made directly with hotel, they somehow had the right to not honor our room type. Had the receptionist told us about the room type unavailability at the outset and given us a full or partial reimbursement the conversation would have taken a different path. Unfortunately, they ended up losing some customers for good

Your desk clerk/manager on duty was extremely pleasant and professional- she did a great job of checking me in and making me feel welcome. I am a rewards member and always seek out Hampton Inns, so my experience here will continue that tradition. Thank you!

I think the area of the hotel is unique. Facilities are clean and updated. Check in was painfully long especially with a 3 years old, a very loud person in the lobby that seemed like they were the manager or owner and no eye contact or any verbalization from the front desk agent.

One of my favorite hotel stays in all of 2024. Super clean, friendly, Sherry at front desk was very flexible, professional, and made check in process quick, easy, friendly. Will most definitely stay here again.

Nice location with a nice view of the lake.

A bunch of stuff in the surrounding area to eat and locations not to far away from many different places to do stuff. Everything was clean, staff was always nice. Free breakfast was simple but nice and had little something for everyone. The pools been down for a long time but for me personally not really a deal breaker. Simple clean room with a place to sleep while going out on daily adventures with the wife. Ive stayed in some really gross places traveling doing sports and other events so clean and simple is a wonderful thing. Rocco's just outside the long driveway is also a must if you're a fan of good coffee and donuts.

To get to this hotel from the highway, one must turn off to a road that goes back in between trees and voila, there sits the Hampton Inn. Talk about quiet! The room was so clean and the bed was comfortable. We have no complaints at all!

Convenient access to I-290 and Worcester Good, "just off the beaten path" location set back from the road.

Immaculately clean, well-appointed, properly-supplied room. Bed and furniture very comfortable and well-maintained. A surprising and very welcome feature was the extensive, varied and good-quality complimentary breakfast provided to guests. Quite uncommon these days at hotels of this price level. Only criticism: signage should be more prominent and better illuminated at highway route entrance to hotel. Hotel is located a short distance down a narrow roadway, and is not immediately visible when turning into entrance.

Check in was a breeze, the staff was great & the breakfast selection was excellent! We will definitely be staying here again! Also, it was a very convenient off/on the interstate.

It was away from the main road, less traffic noise

We were very pleased with everything during our stay at the Auburn Hampton Inn. The staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast choices were possibly the best we have ever had. It is so rare to see a varying choice of breakfast items from one day to the next. The room was spacious with a microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was very clean and seemed brand new. We loved the large shower and all of the products were in large pump bottles. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel was super clean, rooms were very nice, spacious. AC worked great. Staff were professional and friendly. Breakfast was great.

Clean place, good for a quick 1 night stop. The pool was out of order, but I didn't need it. Lady at the check in seemed sleepy (it was 12:30am) but the process was quick. Breakfast was basic, but had to wait for cream cheese to be brought since they ran out.

We were in town for a cheer competition. Only one person on duty upon arrival so check in line was long. I had booked a super king that sleeps 6 but the room they tried to put us in was 2 queens. After some shuffling around we finally got the rooom we paid for. Next issue we went to use the pool and hot tub only to find out both were out of service.. The next morning we went for breakfast and they had run out of many foods. They said they had numerous peoplecome in overnight and weren't prepared. While the propert was clean I was very disappointed with the overall stay. I frequent Hilton or Hilton backed hotels when we travel. This was not up to a Hilton experience

Best free breakfast for the price point in the area. Everything was clean and my room was updated with no damage.

Hotel was beautiful and clean. Perfect for the night we needed, and breakfast was suitable even for picky children. (Waffles for the win) area near by a little ehh, but it was late when we pulled in so hard to tell. Overall I would stay here again. Be advised that Expedia advertises that there is a pool, and there is not pool at the hotel!! The host was kind enough to inform Us on our arrival as I had two young kids with me. But it wasn’t a deal breaker as we were there for an event at the DCU center down town.

The facilities are nice and the front desk person helped us out a lot. He was great. My suggestions for breakfast is either omitting or improving the waffles. Pretty bad. The little omelets were pretty good, but I'd prefer lightly scrambled had there been a choice. Generally I found the food choices pretty mediocre.
