Hampton Inn Marysville

Breakfast needs help. Had hr left and basically no food out. Main door didn't work properly. Closed on me 3x. Front desk left unattended. Room was clean and nice but floor was definitely sloped.

Hotel is in need of updates. I could not open the blinds in my room. It was like being in a cave. The grout in the shower was molded. Wallpaper was peeling and bathroom ceiling was bubbled. They took out the hot tub in the pool area. The pool was very nice though.

Like- quiet environment, clean and comfortable room, friendly helpful staff Dislikes- shower (showerhead was broken, door kept sliding close, no water pressure) pool water was freezing and not the cleanest, breakfast was not great

The first room I was given..... the door wouldn't latch. So, I asked for another room. It took maybe 10 minutes for the front desk person to find a room; my guess is that many are in rough shape and she was likely trying to find the best option. This room was ok, but seemed dirty and extremely dated. The door latched though. The towels seemed gray. And the sheets didn't feel clean. I also tried to use the business center to print something for work. The computer was not even connected to the printer. When I asked for paper for the printer, the front desk person had to scrounge scrap paper which had already been printed on one side. It didn't matter because no one could help me connect the printer to the computer.

Breakfast staff was very unprofessional. Side door unlocked at night. No lighting in the parking lot at nighttime. Dirty under the sink. Foldout couch was dirty. It needed vacuumed under the bed. Nighttime staff were very nice though. And so was the morning staff It was just the lady that served the breakfast.

Room was out of Toliet paper after 2 bathroom uses , only 2 tissues in the pack. Ice machines broken / out of service on all floors (3). Overall a few inconveniences. The staff was the best part of our stay. Friendly and professional!

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff seemed unenthused, not caring or wanting to give extra attention to items asked for like extra towels. Room a/c was working but heater was turned on and had to go back off made room smell like a bonfire. Continental breakfast was horrible dried out bread tasted stale. No cream cheese for a bagel had to use butter or honey. Overall I wish we picked a different hotel the pool hadn't been inspected since 6-2019 and you could definitely tell. Pool bathroom toilet wasn't even sealed to floor, the amount of masking tape throughout the hallway walls covering holes was excessive. Need to lower your cost for the appearance of the place and the service given I see why the staff is all new one a month new other said three months.

The security door at end of the hallway that required a door key card to open was broken, so all that was needed was to pull the door handle and anyone could walk in. The ice machine on 1st floor was broken, only found out after asking clerk where it was and found note to go up stairs on it. Fire alarm went off 4 times 11 PM, 12AM 12:10AM short in system and 5:14AM maintenance checking it! No refund or reduction in fee offered at check out!

Housekeeping didn’t fill our bathroom amenities, would not stay here again. However, Joseph at the front desk was very friendly.

The staff was really nice and helpful The pool was clean and warm, since it is winter it was nice to be able to swim and feel comfortable. Breakfast bar has nice options.

Staff was wonderful but Hotel itself could use some maintenance. Pictures online look awesome and Lobby is great but once you go into the hotel and rooms not so much. Looks like they did cosmetic updates instead of actual updates. We checked into our room and had to ask for a different room due to mold all around tub. Floor tile grout was missing and loose also. We were put into another room with a cleaner bathroom that had a stand up shower instead of a tub. Bathrooms need maintenance. Rear of hotel backs up to a business that was right outside our window this morning with noise and employees working outside the windows, had to keep shades shut. Could really be nice if they would clean and update the rooms.

Overall just not very clean. Mold in shower. Also, no curtains which poses a problem when you have a spot light security light right outside your window. Looked like day time all the time.

We had booked two rooms on our reservation but when we arrived, they only had one room in our name. The hotel was dirty and needs a major remodel. The carpets were dirty and the walls are all banged up. The bathroom sink didn't drain very well and the water backed up in the sink. The free breakfast which was okay but nothing spectacular like other hotels offer free breakfasts. We would not stay at this hotel again.

Check-in was great. Staff member was friendly. When we got to our room, it was dark so we attempted to raise the blinds, only to find that they were broken. We contacted the front desk and they sent maintenance. It was not fixable, so they offered us another room which we took. On entering the second room we noticed that these blinds were also inoperable. This facility is really in need of some upgrades.

Stayed with my wife for 2 days. Rooms were very quiet. King bed was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

Booked a double room and was given a single king room. Went back down to the desk to be told they do not have a double room and the best they could do was a room with 2 kings. When we got to the room it was 57 degrees. Tub drain so slow it had a few inches of water in the bottom be the end of a shower. Not happy

Very outdated :(. Door didn’t shut completely to the room. Lumpy hard worn out beds. Towels were stained. Broken wall rack for clothes. Unsanitary broken and extremely stained chair. The pool did not have a running filter system. Terrible breakfast and coffee. Could not wait to check out in the morning.

We called down and they didnt have any other rooms available to switch us to. They did find us a fan that helped a little. Other things wrong? Let me list the other things that were below par... Two bath towels for a room that is supposed to sleep 5, we had a party of 4. 2 towels in the indoor pool area. There were about 15 people in the pool at the time and not enough towels. Limited channels to watch on the television The iced water dispenser in the lobby was empty other than ice at 10am. The breakfast? Wow! In the bakery section was 2 mini muffins, a few pieces of white and wheat bread. No juice at all. The dispenser had a sign on it letting guests know it didnt work. The cereal section was minimal at best and very limited amounts. The milk was in a small pitcher which was for the cereal and drinks. The hot water for tea was barely warm. Fruit? 2 apples were out. That is it. We were at breakfast 9am. Peak time and not much of a buffet. We were very disappointed. I literally have never seen a buffet this poor. I have to say I expected more from a Hampton Inn. One last thing, when I went to dry my hair, the blow dryer provided, didnt work properly. Thank goodness I didnt have to dry more than my bangs. I did tell the woman at the desk when we checked out of all the issues she would have the manager call me. Nothing

Good stay. Only issue was refrigerator was constant buzzing noise through the night.

Comfortable, spacious room. Although I did not specifically request an ADA-compliant room, I was given one. And after a couple of days of driving, I did appreciate that! One suggestion: I noticed that the extra TP and the hair dryer were on a shelf quite high up - which perhaps might be unreachable for anyone using a wheelchair.

I did not like the room bc the shade was broken..in most rooms. The desk chair was filthy and also broken.

When I made the reservation I noted I needed a handicap accessible room. I called to make sure my specific room needs were met. I use a wheelchair in the evenings and at night, I’m an amputee. After speaking to an associate and following up with the GM I was told my room was locked in and a note was set to “do not move” Upon arrival rather late that evening the evening desk guy unlocked that room and gave me a different room. I was given a non handicap accessible room. Even after having 2 phone calls. We were so exhausted from traveling that I just sucked it up. I inquired at the desk in the morning about what happened. The girl I spoke with was the same girl I chatted with on the phone the first time. She told me that the room keys that were assigned to me were still sitting there. She told me that the GM would reach back out. I’ve received no phone call to date. The property was lovely, I didn’t get breakfast. I’m at a loss though, if you have no disabilities it’d be a great place to stay. If you have a disability regardless of how many phone calls made you may not get a room that’s appropriate for your disability.

I waited at the front desk for over 15 minutes to check in. Finally got a room and the tv did not work and since they have no help I had to go down and get batteries for remote, when that did not work the front desk guy says I don’t know what to say we have no extra remotes. Only when I asked for a new room did I get a working tv, maybe they need to work on their problem solving skills. Will not stay there again!

The staff was nice when they arrived. We waited two hours to be checked into our room. You read that right…TWO hours. The lady that finally checked us in was very nice. We asked if someone was going to be at the hotel throughout the night and she stated there would be. We had zero issues with the hotel after that. We are waiting for the property to refund some sort of monetary value for us waiting two hours to be checked in. For all of the haters, we couldn’t switch hotels because we were told by Hilton (brand owner) that the decision is up to the property. Well, the property has limited staff and zero management now.

Waited almost 2 hours to get checked and still didn’t get checked in left called several times. No answer didn’t check in until 11 pm because I wasn’t able to until then.

We only stayed at this hotel because it is only 30 minutes to the Columbus Airport in Ohio.

Nice quiet and convenient

It was a convenient place to stay on the return route of my trip. I visited family in Columbus and did not want to deal with city traffic.

Stayed with my wife for 2 days. Rooms were very quiet. King bed was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

Our view was of the parking lot. I enjoyed the shower. The room needed vacuumed better under the bed and under the desk. Breakfast was ok. I liked the omlets. The dinningroom & food area was clean.
