Floors were dirty, pay for parking. 😏

There is a parking fee an extra $5 on top of what expedia says. The rooms definitely need an update.

The on-site “free” parking cost us $8, which was then taxed. Our king room, which was supposed to be a king suite cost us $204 per night. Other people were complaining that they had been quoted lower rates, only to be charged the $204 once they provided a credit card. When we arrived to our room, the door was open and the toilet seat was up, as if someone was already in the room. The staff assured us no one had been in the room. I was also told no manager would be on duty until Monday (this was Friday). We soon discovered this was probably the worst room on the floor so someone probably asked to be moved (right by the elevator, a window with no actual view or light-it looked into the concrete wall of the front awning). It was also a handicap room, which I would not book and take from someone who needs it. Upon checking with the desk, they were sold out of rooms so we had no choice. The handicap room was missing a safety hand bar to the shower. The seal under the door was missing; we could hear everything, and freezing cold air from coming through from the hallway. The small end table looked dirty and I needed it for work. After using wipes, they were yellow and brown. At 10:15pm the first, our fridge was dropping ice and overflowing with water because it had been left set to defrost. Due to the late hour, I cleaned it up myself and went back to bed. I asked for a manager again (same answer). I left my info and to be contacted on Monday; I did not receive a call on Monday.

First of all the elevator was inoperable and I had to lug luggage up three flughrs of stairs. I was told that it had been out of order for minths and they don't know how long before it's repaired. The bathtub was dirty, the absolute worst experience I have ever had. This property used to be very well taken care of, don't know what happened but I don't think I will ever book another stay there.

Elevator down. Not a huge deal to me. Waffle iron down. Breakfast is far from great. Room was so outdated. Furniture literally looked like from the 70's. Carpet was horrible. Fraying at edges. Water pressure is non existent.

Elevator stopped working on Saturday. Unable to get repair prior to my check out. Thankfully, I was lodging on the second floor. Did get discount so I was satisfied!

The first floor did not have a bad smell and was much cooler. Our room needed a makeover. Carpet was frayed at threshold and everything just seemed old. Would not stay there again.

Rooms were not ready until 6pm and we had to wait from 1:30 till then. The elevator was broken and we had to walk up 3 flight of stairs and we are in our 60 and 70’s.. Will never stay here again

Did not have a functioning elevator and therefore did not stay there Had to find another hotel to stay at for that evening.

I've stayed at this Hampton Inn during previous visits to Troy, AL, and this time was by far the worst. For starters, they charged me a daily parking fee; it's just a regular parking lot, no security, no parking garage, no valet. Secondly, my room needed some repairs, a lotion and soap dispenser hanging off the wall, and the towel hook was too. The room just needed to be updated and/or refreshed. I just could not believe they would charge the prices they charged are not ensuring that the rooms are properly maintained. And the parking fee is ridiculous. I will be contacting corporate about my stay.

We were at the hotel from July 3 - July 7th. House keeping didn’t come to our room not even once since we were there. Even after calling to the front desk they still didn’t come to clean the room. We had to go down to the front desk and ask for clean towels for our room. We had to take out our own trash. We had to make our own beds. We was just not happy with this stay.

Stayed one night traveling. Chose Hampton bc consistently clean. What a bad decision!!!! Bed sheets has hair and glitter and large stain. We requested new sheets and changed them. They did offer different room but we were already unpacked after 11 hours of traveling. Fabric chair in room had large stain. Entire place dirty. At breakfast no waffle mix. Desk manager said couldn’t give us a hard copy receipt and no free water for honor members. Then he said only other charge was for parking. Approximately $5. Plenty of parking bc no one there…now we now why. Another couple who are Hilton honor members said worse one they have ever stayed at too. Contacting Hilton about our experience

Water wouldn’t drain out of tub

Liked location, but needs updating. AC didn’t work.

Waited an hour and a half to get checked. Check-in was suppose to be 3:00 and the room was not available due to not beong cleaned yet. I did not get into the room until almost 5:00. This made me late for an appointment that was extremely important. The room was relatively clean, but had issues with the thermostat, Wifi, and cable. Was not the beginning of a weekend that I expected. Very disappointed!!!

Bathroom certainly looks old and could use an updating or refresher. Bed was best part of the stay. Very comfortable. I do want to give a shout out to Destiny girl at check out. Very sweet and respectful!!!!! All in all pleasant but an older hotel thst could use some TLC.

We had an excellent stay. The only thing I would say negative was the toilet in our bathroom wasn’t completely secured to the floor. It wobbled tremendously and made a very loud screeching sound any time it was flushed.

Convenient location, easy check in and a very nice cook for breakfast. She was a good host. I didn’t like that there were no cross walks to the other side of highway. That’s a city problem. But the management staff wasn’t friendly. A good afternoon or good morning and maybe a welcome would have been warmer. They were not rude just indifferent. Russell Tessier

When we arrived the manager on duty, Melody, was extremely rude and would not even look at myself or my husband, she was cold and very unfrendly. We were informed, upon arrival that the elevator was down and that we would have to use the stairs, which was fine for us but what about others who may not be able to use the stairs. We were also told upon arrival tbat we would need to pay $50 for "incidentals" none of which we were told at booking, lastly we had to pay for self parking...parking in a parking lot that was not monitored.

Staff at front desk was on his personal phone the entire time we were trying to check in. He gave us no information about breakfast - time or where it’s served. Didn’t even tell me what our room number was. Had to look at key holder to figure that out. Then we proceed to elevators to find note posted that elevator was out of service. We were on the 3rd floor!!!! Front desk made NO mention of any of this. Room appears clean.

Staff was great. Building and facility is getting old, drain of the bathroom sink was bad. Broken closet door and worn mattresses. It was close to Troy Univ where the event was and that was very helpful. Complimentary breakfast was convenient.

Great location, wonderful breakfast, staff was efficient but not overly friendly, hot coffee bar was available 24 hrs/day from what I could tell. We will stay here again.

Excellent location with multiple eating places within walking distance and many more in very short driving distance. Great little town and very nice hotel.

We stay at this property two times each year. The price per room has been increasing and the property is just ok. The breakfast is less than usual. It includes items bought from Costco and nothing better. I went to the local Mac Donald’s for breakfast. Their food was hot and tasty.
