The staff was very pleasant and friendly during our stay. The pool was clean and my son enjoyed it. The room we were in was what you would expect of a 2/3 star hotel. It had a faint smell of smoke, the toilet leaned when you sat on it and the tub was as clean as it could be. However, you could tell they prep the rooms with what they have available. The beds had clean linen, the carpets were clean, etc..

Room was clean, water pressure was good and hot. Was a little skeptical when we pulled in but it was all good! Breakfast was good. The ladies who worked there were all friendly and helpful when needed. My kids enjoyed the pool as soon as it opened. The pool was clean!

We were surprised that when we came to check in around 8pm the front desk radio'd housekeeping to see if they were done with our room. They were; so we were checked in. However, they were still working on the 2nd room we booked. Luckily they kept us side-by-side as requested, but odd nonetheless at that late check-in time. So we ended up walking around the wet floor once we got into the room. The AC was terrific. Loud and constant and cool. The rooms looked updated with wood(ish) floors and updated beds. They were pretty comfortable; a little firm. The showers looked pretty lived-in. But it all seemed pretty clean for the night we stayed. Cannot speak to the buffet, but they did have flavored creamers for coffee. Outside porches were well-lit.

It was fine for the amount of time we knew we would spend in the room. However, both the sink and the bathtub were very slow to drain. The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. Would advise not to advertise you have a business center if what you do have isn't operational.

It was an easy location to find at the North West side of 231 and US 29. Property was in pretty good condition and appeared to be fairly well kept. Parking was not a problem and appeared to be plenty of room for guests as well as extra parking for large vehicles, Etc. The place is really starting to show its age though ... it is at least 40 years old if not, older. Just a few details noticed being in the room ... the room was nice and clean and fairly good condition but, you can just tell some things were aging and on the verge of falling apart. Bathroom was very small, the shower rod, didn't appear to be hanging on by a whole lot but, still appeared to be functional. The chair and ottoman, could definitely have used a cleaning even though, it looks like they had been cleaned a while back, someone just didn't do a very good job at it and left a lot of stain marks. The seals around the door were nonexistent, daylight around the top and non-hinge side of the door. I would imagine if there was much wind blowing, you could probably feel it coming in. I had not seen switches mounted in a metal door jamb of an entry door, in a long time but, it was functional. The curtains had seen better days but, they were also functional. Everything else in the room, seem to be in decent working order. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Its a pretty good hotel for what it cost. Probably built in the sixties with outside entrances, its clean & the staff is really great. They have truck & rv parking, whichnis why I stay there.

The lady who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. The condition of this hotel however is pretty bad. I know it is an old building but it has a very bad smell black mold in the bathroom and idk if I was allergic to something or what but I was broken out in hives and itchy so bad I finally couldn’t take it anymore and left after SIX hours. The pool is really nice though.

Didn't get a room that would accommodate wheelchair. Couldn't sleep in bed because too high for wheelchair transfer. BUT WORST OF ALL. ALL ROOMS HAD ROACHES. AND ONE ROOM HAD BED BUGS!!! I HAD TO SEND ONE ROOM OF OUR PARTY TO ANOTHER MOTEL BECAUSE THE DESK AGENT WOULDN’T DO ANYTHING. JUST SAID WAIT TIL THE MORNING FOR THE MANAGER. FOR BED BUGS. TERRIBLE. HORRIBLE. MONSTROUS.

Got to our room, pulled back covers and found love bugs! Ceiling peeling and the tub was so dirty. Asked for a refund and they refused! I called the next day to talk to the manager, and she would not get on the phone and speak to me. This is the worst experience my husband and I have ever had!

There was freaking construction going on, starting around 3 a.m.!!! WTHeck? Sounded like putting up Sheetrock, so sawing, screwing, banging, heavy equipment motors and back-up beepers…..all sounded like it was in the room next door, or right behind us! We came up to Alabama to move my husband’s Mom, who has dementia, because her husband passed, back to Florida with us. We got NO SLEEP, due to all the noise, and still had to pack up her house, as well as his sis and BIL’s house (who are taking care of her). It is a 5 hour drive up and back, plus all the packing. The stay was terrible….just saying.

The rooms and everything about them are outdated, from the carpet, shower, tub and toilet. I was fooled by the pictures on the website. I stayed there 19 years ago when it was The Holiday Inn, nothing has change but the owners. I will not stay again. It was noisy from other tenants in the back of motel with construction workers vehicles, and when they came in for the evening.

It's time for a renovation. The popcorn ceiling is falling, mold and rust everywhere, the bed pops up if you sit on the end of it, the bed sounds like it's going to explode when you turn over. I can keep going, but suffice to say....renovate this place soon.

The exterior presentation lacks appeal, I was concerned when we first arrived. The room had an overwhelming smell of carpet sprinkles. The pool area was nice. There appeared to be a homeless person allowed to enter the facility and eat breakfast which would have been fine but he was eating in the breakfast area with no shirt or shoes rambling on. My kids and I did not look at him or fir the concern of safety. The displayed behavior was 100% mental health concerns he became confrontational to me and my children. As guests who were trying to peacefully eat breakfast. No workers were present and they did not respond to the inappropriate behavior and statements being said. We told the person at the front desk who was completely oblivious.

I waited over 15 minutes to check in because there was no one at the desk.The tub was filthy and stained, the hotel is old and could use some upgrades. The bed squeaked every time I turned. The breakfast was limited. I would not recommend.

This property was very “sketch” pulling into our room facing the back of the Motel 6. Lots of outside noise in the room. Our bathtub looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a good while, lots of repairs are needed. Felt very unsafe.

When it came time for breakfast the waffle maker was not working so I ended up just getting an apple and a cup of coffee, I tried to get oatmeal but there was nothing as well, not sure if they ran out or it wasn’t refilled but breakfast was disappointing
