Budget Inn

Property was nice enough. There were some sketchy guys hanging out in the parking lot day and night all hours, not always the same guys for the three days we were there. Nothing that I know of happened just seemed sketchy.

Budget hotel. Nothing outstanding but nothing negative. You can tell they are fixing it. New plaster and paint in places. Replaced outlets ect here and there. Check in was very quick and hassle free. Was just an over night stay. Right off the freeway and near several food establishments.

The ease of finding the facility was great.

The room i booked was supposed to be accessible. The bathroom was small no way it was accessible, plus no way you could get a wheelchair by. Also i booked at the budget inn and they moved me to san luis inn then they charged extra for the pet.

Condition of the hotel grass and yard area is a wreck. Lobby area not good, only window communication. Vent in ceiling falling down. AC hard to work. I’ve stayed here many times before and it’s gone downhill. Sad. Will not be here again.

If you are looking for a quick stay the price is right, but the hotel itself it’s old, dirty, and outdated. The front desk guy was nice but just overall in a good area

Sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Motel. Es ist zwar sauber, jedoch ist alles sehr kaputt und abgewohnt. Es ist sehr hellhörig. Man hört jede Tür, jede Toilettenspülung und jede Klimaanlage. Das Bett war äußerst unbequem. Der Fön war kaputt. Wir würden dort nicht noch einmal buchen. Es liegt recht gut, direkt am Highway, was jedoch stört, da absolut keine Schalldämmung vorhanden ist. Bis nach Downtown brauchten wir ca. 15-20 Min. Essenslokale waren direkt vor Ort.

The property was dirty the room needed repairs, clerks attitude was bad. There was junk and mattresses all over the property. Staff were not friendly. My wife is disabled 71 years old asked clerk for room downstairs was told no rooms available. after a few minutes clerk told me we could have a room downstairs for an additional $30. did not accept offer will never stay there again.

Decent value for price paid. Definitely an older property and the bedspread was stained. But otherwise, pretty good bang for your buck.

The room was in poor condition. The furniture was in bad shape, some of it was broken. The floor was not clean. Maybe their vacuum cleaner was broken, but rug was gritty with crumbs and dirt. There was a sock on the floor that some had left behind. We were disappointed.

One of the worst places I have ever stayed. Pretty sure they didn't even clean the room. There was an old can of beans in the fridge, crums and garbage all over the floor abs under the bed. The toilet and vanity had pieces broken off. There were stains on the blankets and they said they didn't have any extras so we just threw them on the floor and slept on top of the sheets. Luckily the heater was working. Do not recommend.

Filthy roach motel for a lot of money. We slept with our cloths on. The shower was so ugly we did not use. All this for about $190 per night. Never again.

Needs a deep clean. Very run down. Hole in comforters. Not like the pictures. Walls were patched up. Baseboards were filthy.

This hotel was very dirty. Missing pieces of the baseboards. Outlets coming out of the wall, wired exposed from outlets as well as mold going on baseboards and chipped tub. Yellow shower from built up on shower mat. Very dirty and unsafe to stay in. A waste of hard earned money.

The room was clean but not in very good condition, especially for the price. The toilet clogged once, the shower was difficult to operate, and some of the repairs were sloppily made. Beds were just OK.

No hot water and very noisy street.

Stay was okay. Walls super thin. Could hear everything in the next room over. Needs to be renovated asap. Everything is old and falling apart.

The room was definitely dated, the outlet behind needs repair. The toilet seems to be designed for a kid. Very spacious and had a back patio so that was a plus.

It’s fine. You get what you pay for. It’s an older facility so everything is pretty worn down and a bit crusty but all serviceable. It’s what I expected for budget.

No main room light/bulb out. Door chain not connected hardly. Shower water took very long to barely get warm. Small toilet. Just old and stained. Clerk was very nice. Walking distance of a lot.

Budget Inn was perfectly located, plenty of convenient stores and fast food or restaurants to consider, walking distance to parks and other shopping, the owner was amazing and very hospitable and checked in on us a couple of times each day, I’m a business owner and that kind of hospitality goes a long way, we will definitely be staying again within the next week or two

Had to move to another room because the air conditioner outlet turned black with smoke. Second room did not have working smoke detector, hanging from the ceiling. Staff was rude. Complained I used too many disposable plastic cups.

Other than the property being a bit dated and right off the freeway, it was a quiet and friendly place to sleep for a couple nights. We had originally planned only to stay for one night, but were easily able to add an extra night for our stay. Staff was very helpful.

Place is horrible and very dirty, people in the front desk are rude. The people above me were too loud and barly got some sleep. Felt very unsafe the door chain had been ripped out. They refuse to refund my money this place is a joke

The staff was A1. See you guys next month.

My check in was hassle free, and the staff was friendly

I had a very bad experience here. First off it’s a bit run down but I didn’t expect much since it was the cheapest I could find. But it smelled like smoke. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. There was no latch lock on the door. We put a chair against the door while we slept to feel safe. With all of this I was like well you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t even have written a review for those things. I don’t write reviews. But….they have a sign on the window where you check in that says they will not enter your room to clean it during your stay unless you request them to. But the first day we came back to the room after being out for the day we saw they had indeed entered the room and cleaned it. They didn’t have a sign on the door knob to put out saying you don’t want it cleaned. But I didn’t question that since they literally have a sign saying they won’t. So I called the front desk to ask why this happened and the woman who answered argued with me, literally screamed at me. And then hung up on me. We packed up and left. The man at the front desk refused to give me any check out paperwork or the name of the owner. DO NOT STAY THERE!

I'm not sure how a place in this such disarray is open. I went to check-in and was told the water heater wasn't working but they would take $14 off my bill. I wish they would have called sooner as it hadn't been working for some time. I didn't have another hotel set up therefore I contacted Expedia to see if i would be penalized if I canceled but didn't want to cancel until I found another hotel. The staff yelled at me for contacting Expedia and said they already canceled my room. Expedia said they never asked for my room to be canceled. Doors were open to many of the rooms like they were airing them out for some reason and the place looked dilapidated and smelled awful.

The overall stay was unsatisfactory. The person that reception was rude and unhelpful. Secondly, the handle to the bathroom door was broken and several times either I or my husband got stuck in the bathroom and could not get out.

Tired property. Needs paint, towels not laundered correctly. Bumps and bruises on the walls but to be expected for the price. Good location for exploring the area. Food close by.

Bed was comfortable, and I was just looking to sleep so I was fine . I used my sleeping bag because when I pulled back the spread something hard hit the floor...didn't want to investigate. Didn't use shower it was a very deep tub and no rail . There was a back door to the room leading to a cluttered patio area in back ....it was unlocked and partially opened when I arrived. There were 2 queen beds and one was covered with rain gutter materials. I brought it to the attention of the desk and he did offer to move them . I said no problem because I only needed one bed . It was just weird. I did appreciate the late check in . I was glad to find a place at all on a holiday weekend and Valentine's day . Won't stay here again... Oh ...no coffee anywhere ..

Rooms r clean and its quiet and cowgirl cafe next door is a great place for brunch

Friendly service! Close to fast food restaurants and gas stations! Just wish things could be a little more detailed in presentation. Walls could use wiping down and fresh paint, tubs could be replaced as there’s worn down spots all over, very strong smell of cleaning supplies the whole time we stayed. Sheets smelled cleaned and fresh though! This place works for a short overnight stay though! No breakfast offered anymore.

Absolutely adorable property and the front desk was welcoming & accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is ideal being on the waterfront. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay with many dining options & activities within walking distance.
