This was a lovely and unique place to stay for the weekend. There were 7 of us in town for a wedding and the house was perfect for us. We enjoyed exploring the property and visiting the horses. The host is great at communicating and providing detailed directions.

We love old houses, and all the history here was great. Beautiful grounds, the tree swing was a hit, horses, deer, birds and more.

Very beautiful and unique historic home with an interesting family history and a pleasant, quiet property with walking paths, pond, and meditation areas.Comfortable beds, extensive library, spacious TV lounging area, well equipped kitchen, lots of local history sites to visit, close proximity to Richmond and surrounding suburbs but far enough away to be quiet and serene.Easy check-in check-out, good instructions.Very clean
