The room is clean, the only problem is that there is no chair in the room and the bathroom is very small but the breakfast is outstanding.

While the hotel has a big name, it is really a roadside motel. For traveling in July, we paid $390 for a regular double room and it was incredibly small with basically just the space for two beds and a small table. The shower with hot water also runs out every 15 minutes, so you have to wait for another 15 for it to refill. The shower stall is so poorly designed that every time you take a shower, water can splash all over the bathroom… There is no amenity whatsoever in the room (though the room is very clean), so you have to step out to the common area for some coffee or tea (and the hot water thermos always had lukewarm water). The staff were incredibly helpful which makes up for the experience. Due to the hotel’s location and the fact that there is barely any other hotel within easy access, it pretty much has monopoly on the area. Really subpar value for what you pay for. Stay here if you must and you are going to be fine.

Loved the breakfast buffet: cheeses, deli meat, eggs, bacon, assortment of pastries, as well as cereal and pancakes 😋 Friendly and helpful staff. The young lady at the front desk from the Czech Republic- wish I gotten her name- was very nice and helpful( she fixed my black-out shades🙏), as well as the young ladies in the restaurant. Having the gas pump on site is also very nice -diesel and Bensin. There was also a park ranger there at ~8:30 - 9 am to help with questions regarding the roads in the Highlands.
