I’m tired of going to hotels that don’t clean the sheets or replace comforters after every use. It’s so unsanitary! My kids wanted to use the pool. We had some time before the closing time, but my key wouldn’t work to access it. We kept going back and forth to the front desk in order to correct the problem and it still didn’t worked. She never even came down to assist or check the pool door. The same occurred when I tried to use the fitness room. What a waste!

Came in for gymnastics meet. Hotel was clean, shower was great, breakfast options were good, even the fitness center was clean and well stocked for anyone who wants to get a good workout in. Easy close/free parking for guests and great staff.

Fitness center is set to a warm 72degrees. That is a warm temp to start off working out. I travel a lot and am always annoyed with preset temps. I understand the economics of it, but it would be better customer centric to let patrons control the temp. An hourly auditor could adjust the temp back as necessary IMHO.

Super friendly staff!. Solid wood furniture very spacious room super easy charging station bedside. Pool temperature was very pleasant and work out area was very clean with variety of equipment.

What I liked was, the room was big. What I didn't like was, the room keys I had to keep trying to get in. It didn't have a full size ironing board, the tiolet I thought was going to come off the wall. The drink vending machines were empty the whole time, and the fridge in the room barely got cold.

Was on a boys trip with my son. When we first pulled up there were 5 or 6 people standing outside waiting on the cops. Someone either kidnaped a child or a dad took a kid to the hotel. About 30 min later 3 cops came. My son likes to swim, so went went down to the pool. As we got off the elevator there was cops in lobby questioning a guy that was very jumpy so i put my son i front of me and walked to the pool. When we got to the pool the water was green. I put my hand in the water and it was slimy. Soo we did not swim. The people behind the desk were very good. The room its self was ok. Nonthing fantastic just a regular room.

This hotel is desperately in need of some updates and bug/exterminator services. The shower was rusty with peeling/moldy sealing all around the tub. The toilet was constantly running water. All the furniture was at best scuffed up/stained and at worst broken. On top of all of it, I got back one night to find the biggest roach I've seen in the corner near the ceiling. Staff was friendly and helpful, but after that I wouldn't stay here agian.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I did not request a handicap accessible room but was assigned one. Occuoant in room next to ours had a dog who howled and yelped for approximately 45 minutes at about 11pm, and his owner was loud and yelling at dog. Attempted to notify frint desk but no one answered phone in lobby. Our room was clean and comfortable, and complimentary breakfast was very good.

Our hotel room was on the third floor and it was also the top floor. So that was nice. We found it odd that there was a one inch gap under our door which let in the light from the hallway. Then noticed it was under all of the rooms. What was the reason for that?

Breakfast was great and the room was overall clean BUT the air in the room did not work, I was also charged a $50 fee on top of my hotel cost when I checked in. I understand this is refundable but only after 3-5 days after my check out and I was not told about this fee before my stay! Not happy about that at all! Also when I was checked in, the lady at the front desk was on FaceTime, she stayed on FaceTime the entire time checking me in while asking for my personal details to check me in. I travel a lot for business and stay at a lot of hotels and I’m not very happy with the overall experience.

This property is quite except for the squeaking king sized bed that made a the worst sound EVERYTIME either of us moved !! It was so annoying. The room was clean enough...it's just an outdated room that we were issued. The carpet , furnishings, and we cannot forget that noise from the bed . It's been a very long time since we've stayed in a Hampton Inn and will likely be the last. Other Hilton properties rarely disappoint. We're Honors memebers this was out of the norm for the brand Hilton.

Having a car is necessary but everything is only a few minutes away. The breakfast was nice and simple. The chairs in the rooms should be replace or reupholstered. Having a refrigerator and microwave was awesome. I would definitely stay again.

It was an average facility that could use some upgrades. The carpet needs repairing and the door stuck so we couldn’t get into our room without maintenance coming to open it. Compared to other facilities that we’ve stayed recently, it was just okay.

Although the hotel and people were clean and nice. I learned after leaving that the communication among them is terrible. I had to leave urgently unexpectedly and left my night gown on the back of the door. I called and was told it’d be taken care of. When I didn’t hear back and called a few days later no one had any idea what I was talking about. I was told to call back again once that manager is in. After a 9 hour drive they couldn’t figure out how to split the payments between cards. I stood there for 30 minutes. They were apologetic. But today I discovered that they put it all on one card and on the other card as well. I always stay at Hampton Inns. Although the people were friendly and the place wonderful, I know I can’t trust them to handle the business part correctly. And I wasn’t pleased with the general managers response. She could care less. So I won’t be staying at Hampton Inn when I visit Hampton, Va. in future.

This hotel is perfect. The ambiance is clean, comfortable and safe. The staff is helpful, polite and attentive. Tuesday was our host and provided excellent service from check in to check out.They have hot breakfast, open parking, a pool and an exercise room. Its close to restaurants and shopping. Go ahead book it.

Kendrick who was working night of check in and the last evening we were there was very friendly. He was helpful and kind to my teenage boys and gave our dog a treat. He had good recommendations as well when asked. The young lady that checked us out (didn’t catch her name) was also wonderful. She was very friendly and helpful in figuring out why there appeared to be an additional charge which really was not. She also gave us waters for our car ride home which we were grateful for. All the staff we encountered were friendly and asked questions about our Dalmatian.

The hotel front desk stuff was rude and carrying on a conversation via an EarPod with a friend The hotel was very dirty - looked like our rooms were not cleaned in a long time properly. There was some fan in the hallway that was loud and the hallways were hot. The fruit at breakfast was not fresh. It is the worse Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in

We stayed one night, arriving after dark and left about 8 am. We didnt see much around but noticed that the hotel is across the road from a hospital. Our room faced a busy road but the noise was mutted and not an issue. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. It's close to the highway and convenient to Hampton Univ. It's very nice hotel and I would definitely stay again.

The hotel staff was awesome ! Very engaging, professional and inviting. The staff member named Tuesday was especially accommodating and went above and beyond to relax me when I made some traveling errors with my flight . Tuesday was able to let me check in early and relax after a stressful morning . The hotel is dated and desperately needs to be updated . The food was horrible . New fresh meal plans need to be put into place . I couldn’t eat it . All staff was lovely and hotel was very clean and for that I am grateful.

Location, staff, and cleanliness were AOK. But it is dated and some things need repair. Breakfast good, but not excellent. Coffee warm not hot. No milk out with cereal or for other uses. Had to ask for milk. Breakfast staff responded well and seemed to be doing a good job otherwise. Staff at desk could be dressed more professionally. Shower door broken, bathroom sink has cracks. Only conditioner and shower gel in shower. No shampoo.

Fit the bill for our short trip. Super clean and very comfortable. Breakfast and front staff was lovely. Breakfast closes at 10 AM. Get there earlier than we did. We got there at 9:45 and some of the items were gone and were not replenished.
