Staff lovely, free bikes, walk to lake, beach and cafes. Room was great bar fridge good size. Only thing is the pool is very old and the bottom coming away needs resurfacing. Day bed in pool area were good and still nice to have a swim.

The cleanliness of the property was outstanding. The rooms are really large. It was so quiet, couldn’t hear any of the guests in the rooms around ours. We looked over the pool, the kids loved it, along with the spa. The bikes were a bonus, we did lots of riding, all the paths were flat and wide. Great coffee shops near by. We fished in the river had some success so bring your gear. We also did some stand up paddling, all within a few minutes from hotel. Reception staff were so helpful and professional. We will definitely return.

Ballina Beach Resort is well located, being near the beach, a few minutes drive from town, yet in a quiet neighbourhood away from the main road. There was good off street parking close to the units which were spacious and comfortable. While, as previous guests have remarked, some of the fixtures were a little dated, the unit was very clean with some nice touches such as the quality toiletries. Staff were welcoming of minor maintenance reports, and grounds and cleaning staff were respectful regarding starting times and noise levels. It's rare to find a place with such a huge indoor spa and sauna for a warm soak. The grounds and pool were pleasant with plenty of options for casual relaxing. It was a shame that the restaurant wasn't operating - at least for breakfast, though there is an abundance of restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. All the staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful throughout. All in all they seemed to care about the details it takes to provide guests with a positive experience.

The room was clean and spacious and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. A small shower and toilet were separated from the vanity/sink by a door, which meant you cant use the toilet if someone else was showering. There isn't an extractor fan in this room and it felt quite hot and stuffy.The room had a table and chairs, coffee, tea and fresh milk was provided. A microwave and kettle were useful additions. The air-conditioning works well, but cant be left on when you go out, so the room heats up while you are out. It was a little noisy, directly facing the bed, and kept me awake even on the "sleep" setting which is slightly less noisy. The bed was very comfortable. The decor is dated but in good condition. Some of the wildlife is a little adventurous and maye invite themselves in. We were visited by a friendly Butcher bird who flew in the open door to say hello.

Great location, great gardens, great staff, but the room was run down, the TV was faulty, paint on ceiling flaking off, sliding door would not slide properly, shower glass was mould impregnated and rubber seal was a mess, curtains fell off, taps were all loose, and toilet seat did not fit the toilet.

The pictures on the website are not up to date. The rooms are dirty- floor and was sticky, filthy ingrained grime on walls and floors. Throw cushions, chairs are heavily soiled with cigarette burns. The room had an excessive smell of bleach- like it was just sprayed yet not cleaned. The spa house and pool area was extremely dirty and un-maintained. The terrace screen door broken and unlockable. The crockery and cutlery uncleaned and still have food/ drink from the last guests. The furniture had mould growing in the wires, and under bed was beyond filthy. The amenities and rooms are extremely tired and not maintained.

I absolutely loved staying here! The ambiance of the pool and garden along with the sounds of the kookaburras each morning was such a beautiful way to wake up. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and helped me with any and all needs. The rooms were spacious and well laid out and made me feel like I had a safe and relaxing space. 10/10 will be coming back here as soon as we can! :)

We really enjoyed our stay, the property was in a fantastic position, clean, tidy and well looked after including pool and gardens. The only downside was that the lounge furniture was old and uncomfortable. The queen size bed was also uncomfortable. We would come back and stay again.

Large renovated room with all conveniences for a comfortable stay in a quiet area (once the other guests quietened down). Very comfortable bed and bath towels thick and soft. Easy parking. Thankfully I had a room on the ground floor (207) Disappointed that the restaurant was not available for breakfast

We had a great stay & would recommend the Ballina Brmeach Resort to anyone. Our room was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable & we stayed in a very clean room. Amazing & nice Staff. The grounds are absolutely beautiful too, & with the stunning birds & other animals around the hotel, it reactes a quiet, fresh & relaxing ambience. One final comment relates to an amazing, thoughtful, funny & kind & very hospitable young person Jackson. Thank you for everything Jackson. Nice little place for a short break. It’s a little dated but very clean and tidy. The surrounding area is really nice, there is a few eateries within walking distance and the pub is only a 2kms walk away.

Didn't like the fact that wotif lied about the non existent gym, but the manager helpfully explained how third party booking services scam users this way. Short walk to spectacular views, nice sauna and spa. Unfortunately the cafe isn't operational anymore.
