Nice location but the hotel I feel is falling in to disrepair restaurant and bar air broken for years which makes u feel uncomfortable. Shower tray in room was broken and poorly repaired which still leaked so water poured out on to the floor Air con in room wasn't working very good either Hotel insists on men wearing trousers, where females can wear what the like which I think is unfair after all the restaurant is not la cate it's just buffet after all the female don't even dress up for dinner a couple turn upon hot pants and the rude manager though that was acceptable Steam and sauna didn't work either Sound proofing needs to be improved too

I am a regular visitor to Gran Canaria but this was my first stay at the Neptuno. Although I knew it had a good reputation I was a bit wary about potential noise from the neighbouring Yumbo Centre. It turned out to be a non-issue. I had a lovely stay. The room was simple but comfortable and very clean, the public areas are attractive and the facilities good, including a gym and wellness area. Staying on a half board basis I found the selection at dinner pretty good, augmented by the nightly selections fresh from the grill. The staff were utterly delightful. I will happily stay there again.

The hotel could easily have got a five star review but there are many downsides which for a four star hotel I would expect much better from. The major negative is the noise from the downstairs restaurant and pool area. The music is extremely loud and uncomfortable in any room you stay in and the resonance from the microphone on karaoke nights will make you want to scream. Fine if you like cheesy classic karaoke but the sound proofing needs to be hundred times better in the rooms. If you’re a guest who likes peace and quiet this place is not for you. Complaining won’t get you anywhere. The shower temperature is very intermittent from boiling to cool. Very annoying. The kettle is nowhere near a plug. The breakfast is good, the pool, also has sauna and steam rooms which is a nice touch. TV is a smartTV which not many places have in my experience. However I did fork out a bit more than usual to have little luxuries and better attention to detail however I would not stay here again.

Gute Lage direkt am Yumbo Center. Ein eher einfaches 4* Haus. Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, kurze Betten (1,90m), veraltetes Gym. Essen und Personen sind allerdings super. Preis-/Leistung passt auch.

Usedvanlig hjelpsomt og hyggelig personalet. Stor frokostbuffé med god og variert mat. Fint bassengområdet med gode solforhold som aldri var helt fult. God lokasjon med masse butikker og gode resturanter rett i nærheten. Hoteller virker godt ivaretatt, sengene var gode å sove i. Og badet rommet var rent og fint. Hotellet lever helt kart opp til forventningene og kan anbefales til alle voksne som skal på tur.

Bra hotel med utmärkt läge alldeles intill Yumbo-center. Uppvärmd pool. Bra standard på rummen o rent. Balkong vette mot poolen med eftermiddagssol. Frukostbuffén var jättebra. Personalen hjälpsam. Another fantastic stay at Neptuno. It’s my hotel of choice when staying at Playa. The pool area is fantastic with a bar, sauna and steam room. The staff are friendly and will go out of their way to help you. I always was greeted with a smile, the food is delicious. I like the grill and the grill by the pool in the bar area. The room has all the facilities you will need. My only concerns were the water in the pool being murky and people dragging a chair across the floor at all times in the room above me. Other than that I had a lovely time and will be coming back. The hotel also backs onto the Yumbo.

First impression wasn't great, but I'm glad it changed over the days to come. Staff in the reception demanded a voucher, even though they saw my reservation and that it was paid for. Eventually they accepted me forwarding the booking confirmation from hotels dot com. But be prepared that you might have to do this. Apart from this incident I was very happy with my stay at Neptuno. I opted for an all inclusive alternative and must say that the food and variation of items served during breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent. High quality, and great flavors, with a mix of local, regional and international kitchens, lots of options and great presentations. Also the alcohol included was not only restricted to the cheapest of the cheapest brands, but with a nice variation and also including cocktails in the bar. Staff was also friendly, smiling and welcoming, with a very personal touch, adjusting to whom they were interacting with. The room was nice and comfortable although housekeeping seemed to have not looked under the bed before my arrival as it wasn't vacuumed under there. Despite this I found the rest of the room clean and tidy, and quite recently refurbished, making the bed comfortable and interiors feel nice.

Nice hotel close to beach and nightlife. Great place for adults only, staff is very friendly and super efficient, everything is keep clean and tidy. Food was better than expected. Housekeeping is doing a fantastic job.

Première fois à l’hôtel Neptuno et je suis complètement ravi de mon séjour. Hôtel hyper bien placé, chambre spacieuse et très confortable, propreté irréprochable, restauration excellente digne d’un grand restaurant avec un choix très raisonnable, et avec un personnel parfait à tous les niveaux, réception, femme de ménage, personnel au restaurant. En un mot : Excellent 👌 Je recommande vivement cet hôtel J’ai déjà réservé pour 2026 😜 Séjour du 1 au 15 août 2025

The hotel is dated, needs revamping. Room was ok, west side room overlooking a garden. Shower terrible, no control of temperature, freezing cold to dangerously hot within a heartbeat. Shower hose split, front door lock failed, pool area small, entertainment poor. The hotel is right behind a huge tourist centre called Yumbo, shops, restaurants and bars, which was nice, some great food here. The beach area is about 15 to 20 minutes away. I would not consider staying here again.

Dritter Aufenthalt im Neptuno. Im Juni weniger Gäste, daher ausreichend Liegen am Pool. Ja und das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Das Essen insbesondere am Abend hat sich sehr verschlechtert. Oftmals eher Kartinenqualität, eher fade, ohne Geschmack. Persönliche Meinung. Dessert besteht aus Kuchen und Puddings/Mousses. Keine Abwechslung. Salatbuffet stehts frisch. Zimmer 224 war mit einer knarzenden Matratze/Lattenrost bei jeder Bewegung eher schlafunoptimal.

Stay at this property was good overall- the only issues I had is that the water was running hot and cold and the air conditioner was not working properly. Extremely close to all the queer nightlife and dining options. Can be a bit noisy.

I am a regular visitor to Gran Canaria but this was my first stay at the Neptuno. Although I knew it had a good reputation I was a bit wary about potential noise from the neighbouring Yumbo Centre. It turned out to be a non-issue. I had a lovely stay. The room was simple but comfortable and very clean, the public areas are attractive and the facilities good, including a gym and wellness area. Staying on a half board basis I found the selection at dinner pretty good, augmented by the nightly selections fresh from the grill. The staff were utterly delightful. I will happily stay there again.

First impression wasn't great, but I'm glad it changed over the days to come. Staff in the reception demanded a voucher, even though they saw my reservation and that it was paid for. Eventually they accepted me forwarding the booking confirmation from hotels dot com. But be prepared that you might have to do this. Apart from this incident I was very happy with my stay at Neptuno. I opted for an all inclusive alternative and must say that the food and variation of items served during breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent. High quality, and great flavors, with a mix of local, regional and international kitchens, lots of options and great presentations. Also the alcohol included was not only restricted to the cheapest of the cheapest brands, but with a nice variation and also including cocktails in the bar. Staff was also friendly, smiling and welcoming, with a very personal touch, adjusting to whom they were interacting with. The room was nice and comfortable although housekeeping seemed to have not looked under the bed before my arrival as it wasn't vacuumed under there. Despite this I found the rest of the room clean and tidy, and quite recently refurbished, making the bed comfortable and interiors feel nice.

Very stressful arrival having to walk 2 miles with our case because roads closed due to carnival. But the hotel receptionist was lacking empathy or understanding and was demanding I sent the confirmation from hotels.com - despite receiving a message from the hotel only 30min prior to our arrival. Another fantastic stay at Neptuno. It’s my hotel of choice when staying at Playa. The pool area is fantastic with a bar, sauna and steam room. The staff are friendly and will go out of their way to help you. I always was greeted with a smile, the food is delicious. I like the grill and the grill by the pool in the bar area. The room has all the facilities you will need. My only concerns were the water in the pool being murky and people dragging a chair across the floor at all times in the room above me. Other than that I had a lovely time and will be coming back. The hotel also backs onto the Yumbo.

The hotel is dated, needs revamping. Room was ok, west side room overlooking a garden. Shower terrible, no control of temperature, freezing cold to dangerously hot within a heartbeat. Shower hose split, front door lock failed, pool area small, entertainment poor. The hotel is right behind a huge tourist centre called Yumbo, shops, restaurants and bars, which was nice, some great food here. The beach area is about 15 to 20 minutes away. I would not consider staying here again.

I've stayed at the Neptuno a few times now and always enjoyed it. Friendly staff, good food, comfortable rooms, relaxed atmosphere. Right next to the Yumbo centre if you're there for the nightlife

A very relaxing and chilled hotel despite being right next to the Yumbo centre. Friendly and helpful staff who always have a smile to greet you with. Pool area is well maintained and there are plenty of sun beds. Food options are excellent with lunch served on the terrace overlooking the pool as a bonus. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Had a great few days staying here. Room was very clean and the bar/pool area have a nice atmosphere, and are surprisingly quite quiet considering the proximity to the Yumbo. Food was of good quality - personally I preferred the a la carte lunch at the pool bar to the buffet, although that was still good (especially the desserts!). I would definitely stay again in future.

Lovely hotel, have stayed here three times and they have upgraded the public areas and given rooms a make over since my last stay. Lovely friendly staff. Fresh flowers, wine and water in the room on arrival. There is a kettle and two mugs which for a tea / coffee lover was great and the room also has a fridge and safe all complimentary. The hotel backs into the Yumbo centre main area, however the bit pool area is like an oasis and had no problem gaining a sun lounger or other seating.
