The property is located in a beautiful area right outside of Oslo. It’s clean, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They have an amazing kitchen that has all the equipment and space you need. The rooms are clean as are all the facilities and the laundry is affordable and works!

Hostellet er ikke et hotel, men forskellen bestod primært i at man selv skal lægge sengetøj på. Til gengæld var morgenmad og parkering inkluderet. Sporvogn/tunnelbane ind til centrum lå ca. 300 meter væk, og på ti minutter var man på Karl Johan. Kvarteret omkring er et stille beboelsesområde, men ca 200 m væk er der et lille pizzeria, der laver store pizzaer for rimelige penge, hvis ikke man vil bruge hostellets køkkenfaciliteter.
Hostellet er ikke et hotel, men forskellen bestod primært i at man selv skal lægge sengetøj på. Til gengæld var morgenmad og parkering inkluderet. I found this property very clean and reasonably comfortable. They had a laundry room which was very handy and a comprehensive buffet breakfast. It was a quiet area and quite away from the city centre, which is an expensive taxi ride too and from. There are local buses and trams which may get you near, if you can work out how to find and interpret the stops etc.

Veldig fornøyd. Rene rom. Toalettene og dusjene var rene. God frokost. Hyggelig resepsjonist! Var svært kaldt de 3 dagene jeg var der. Rommet ble aldri varmere enn 16 grader. ( hadde termometer) Men den var tross alt 15- ute og vind. Kommer gjerne tilbake. Anbefalles!

It was perfect stay for young girls. I went with my friend. Safety is also really good and the hostel is located in a hill area. It has such nice view. So so beautiful. The room was very clean and they gave us new and clean bed linens and towels. The bathroom has everything, you just have to bring the toothbrush and toothpaste. They got the soap for you as well. We had the breakfast in the morning and it was so good as well. The shared kitchen is equipped with everything. You have to take the bus or a tram to get in there from the central station but it's worth it. If you buy the 24hrs ticket pass you can travel using tram or bus. And you can use the pass to go around the city. It's a superb place to stay. Very safe, very beautiful, very clean. The staff was very polite as well.

Das HI Haraldsheim ist eine klassische Jugendherberge. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und vom Comfort leicht überdurchschnittlich (auf meinem Zimmer befand sich auch ein Waschbecken). Die Gemeinschaftsanlagen wurden ausreichend dimensioniert und befinden sich in einem hygienischen, sauberen Zustand. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist umfangreich und es wird ständig nachgelegt. Ca. 5 bis 10 Minuten vom Hostel befinden sich Haltestellen von Metro, Stadtbahn/Regionalbahn und Straßenbahn sowie zwei Supermärkte. Alles in allem: sehr empfehlenswert.

Actually almost every common place was pretty cleaned and well maintaned. Reseptionts are extremely kind (I experienced very polite service and saw how they gently treat other guests). Hotel has separate luggage room, sparated bath- and toilet-rooms, chiling zone equiped with coaches and pillows. A lot of wooden boards, chairs and even el-scooters (available for rent y city apps) stays outside. Tip: check availbility here via different apps and you can of the chepest price for overnighting in Oslo. Some guests don't care about their used bedding, people leave a room leaving garbage and some stuff inside. Ppl dont care about silence, so you can experience door slaming in the room, but ofc it depends. Nothing critical. Seems like it would be helpful to put a list of the rules on a door in the room og maybe reception staff can remind.

The towels we got were dirty and stained. We could not use them. We took pictures and went to the reception to get new towels. The gentleman refused to give us towels as he wanted proof that the towels were not cleaned by their cleaning contractors. This shocked me. I gave them the original towels and finally got fresh towels.

The room was a good size and clean. The bathroom and shower were easily accessible, just outside the room. There was a laundry which was really helpful. The property is 15-20mins out of the city but there is an easy train or tram down the hill.

Grei standard på rommet - ble veldig varmt i løpet av natten. Helt ok frokost, men veldig mye mennesker i spisesalen så det var litt vanskelig å få sitteplass. God gratis parkering!

Lovely setting, plentiful breakfast w lots of choice (no rotten or mouldy food while I was there, to address earlier reviews). Staff are very helpful and the grounds are beautiful. It’s not central, but is good value. Easy access to public transportation. Kitchen is clean and well equipped and breakfast meal service is good.

Unserer Tochter wurde schlecht um 4 Uhr morgens. Es war vermutlich eine Vergiftung durch Essen. Der Mitarbeiter der Reception verstand alles sofort und brachte uns Handtücher zum putzen, Medikamente, Wasser. Beim Frühstück war das Personal auch hilfsbereit. Der Koch backte feine Waffeln.

The room was a good size and clean. The bathroom and shower were easily accessible, just outside the room. There was a laundry which was really helpful. The property is 15-20mins out of the city but there is an easy train or tram down the hill.

Ottima struttura purtroppo un pò troppo fuori dal centro. sicuramente ottimale per chi viaggia in macchina, un po meno per chi viaggia con i mezzi pubblici anche se tram e metro sono a due passi

Jeg var på musikkfestivalen på Grefsenkollen, så beliggenheten til Haraldsheim var helt perfekt. Det var meget hyggelig og behjelpelig betjening og frokosten og parkering var inkludert i den rimelige prisen.

I found this property very clean and reasonably comfortable. They had a laundry room which was very handy and a comprehensive buffet breakfast. It was a quiet area and quite away from the city centre, which is an expensive taxi ride too and from. There are local buses and trams which may get you near, if you can work out how to find and interpret the stops etc.

Ich hatte ein sehr modernes Zimmer in der schönen Jugendherberge mit Blick auf den Oslo Fjord. Von Vorteil ist die Gemeinschaftsküche wo auch selber Essen zubereitet werden kann. Die Jugendherberge liegt sehr schön an einem Park mit Discgolfanlage. Die einzige Herausforderung ist der ca. 15-minütige Fußweg von der Haltestelle auf den Berg wo die Herberge liegt. Aber wer in Norwegen zum Wandern ist, hat damit kein Problem.

The location was somehow inconvenient for me. I knew it was outside the city center and I was prepared for using public transport for nearly anything, but still it felt a bit complicated. Besides that, the hostel staff has been very friendly and helpful, for what I would like to thank them! Breakfast service could be improved, also regarding the service hours. An early daparture on a Sunday may leave you wothout breakfast, as it starts at 7.30h (weekdays from 7.00h). Overall, an ok stay. Not more, but also not less;)

Grei standard på rommet - ble veldig varmt i løpet av natten. Helt ok frokost, men veldig mye mennesker i spisesalen så det var litt vanskelig å få sitteplass. God gratis parkering!

Lovely setting, plentiful breakfast w lots of choice (no rotten or mouldy food while I was there, to address earlier reviews). Staff are very helpful and the grounds are beautiful. It’s not central, but is good value. Easy access to public transportation. Kitchen is clean and well equipped and breakfast meal service is good.

* Hyggelig personale. * Veldig rent, stort og fint rom. Pluss for vannkoker, kaffe, hårføner og stor garderobe med mye plass. * Stort pluss med gratis parkering. * Helt grei frokost. Savnet kun eggerøre. Minus for tørt brød. Alt i alt et veldig bra opphold og et sted som kan anbefales. Jeg kommer gjerne tilbake.

Veldig bra til å være et hospits. Og positivt at frokost er inkludert i prisen. En får rent sengtøy og stort håndkle til å ta på selv i resepsjonen. De selger ellers ikke annen mat, kun snacks, så pass på å ta med mat til de andre måltidene! Eget kjøleskap på rommet 👍

Para um Hostel era bom no geral, atendente da recepção era mal humorado e cansado, quartos bem pequenos, mas ambiente bom. Café da manhã muito bom e variado, opções quentes e frias (ponto alto do lugar). Próximo a transporte público e 20 min centro.

Unserer Tochter wurde schlecht um 4 Uhr morgens. Es war vermutlich eine Vergiftung durch Essen. Der Mitarbeiter der Reception verstand alles sofort und brachte uns Handtücher zum putzen, Medikamente, Wasser. Beim Frühstück war das Personal auch hilfsbereit. Der Koch backte feine Waffeln.

Just an empty room with cots. You need to collect bedsheets and stuff from the reception (100 meters away from the room) and fix in the room. When you vacate, you need to remove the bedsheets and hand over to the laundry. Bathroom was not clean, was giving public toilet smell. Tap was not good, no hanger to hang towels and dresses. No TV, nothing. Not suitable for family with young kids.

I shared a room with 5 others in the women’s dorm. The room was clean, the breakfast was very good, there is free parking and chargers for electrical cars. I have never stayed in a shared room like this before. Next time I will book a private room.
