Zaton Holiday Resort Apartments

Hat den Charakter einer Jugendherberge, was besonders im Speisesaal zu merken war. Tolle neue Poolanlage, wo man dann für Liege und Schirm nochmal extra bezahlen muss.

Our stay was great with the Zaton resort. We had booked the superior room with half board option and got lucky with amazing weather. The resort is very big, and offers a lot of entertainment options for kids and adults alike, like golfing, mini golf, events for kids, basketball, football, table tennis etc. The property was very clean and thefood options were pretty good (breakfast was the same every day but dinner had always a wide variety) Only few things stop it from being 5 stars for us 1- Even as a staying customer you have to pay to use the sun beds at the pools, which we did not know about before coming 2- Apparently there is no room cleaning, which we were not informed about while checking in, and had to survive with whatever towels were in the room. There are even buttons for calling the service but it does nothing apparently. 3- check out from the apartments was at 10 am which is way too early, seeing as the breakfast ends at 10 as well 4- one evening the restaurant was way over crowded and it was not ready for such a big crowd, leading to extremely long waiting times at the buffet, which signals bad planning from the management. Additionally, the super market within the premesis is quite pricey, if you have a car, go to outside ones, they are quite close. Additional hints: bring your own swimming towels, and somewhere to sit by the beach/pools

Wir waren mit zwei kleinen Kindern Anfang Oktober für zwei Wochen im Resort. Wir haben das Resort vor allem wegen der vielfältigen Möglichkeiten für Kinder gebucht, die auf der Website angepriesen werden. Im Vorfeld der Buchung haben wir uns erkundigt, ob der Pool im Oktober geöffnet hat. Als Antwort haben wir folgendes per Mail erhalten: "The pool complex is open in October like all other atractions (children activities)." Vor Ort mussten wir aber leider feststellen, dass der Pool Anfang Oktober geschlossen wurde, angeblich wegen des Wetters. Auf die Rückfrage, was das Wetter damit zu tun hat, gab es keine Antwort. Wir sind die ganze Zeit über in T-Shirt und kurzer Hose rumgelaufen. Warm genug für den Pool wäre es also gewesen. Wir gehen eher davon aus, das der Pool aus Kostengründen geschlossen hatte. In dem Resort war Anfang Oktober sehr wenig los. Dies hatte zur Folge, dass fast alles geschlossen war. Die Schließungen sind verständlich. Nur darf man den Gästen dann im Vorfeld nicht mitteilen, dass alles geöffnet hat. Hätten wir von der Schließung des Pools gewusst, hätten wir das Resort nicht gebucht.

We enjoyed our stay at the Zaton Holiday resort. The food was ok and the resort itself big enough. Special thanks to the animation team. They were always nice and entertaining our Kids. Special thanks to Antonia, Leona, Maja and Ingrid. Next time it would be nice to see maybe a show witch shows a bit more of the Croatian Culture, dance etc… The only negative thing is that we have to pay for sun-bed at the pool. You pay already enough money for your journey.

Sehr schöne Apartments, großer Strandbereich, schöner Poolbereich mit vielen Möglichkeiten für Kleinkinder, Supermarkt/Bäckerei usw. alles auf der Anlage verfügbar, viele kleine Spielplätze /- sehr große Anlage, einerseits verläuft sich alles sehr angenehm, andererseits kann der Weg vom Strand zum Apartment mit Kindern dann schon sehr weit sein - wenige Schattenplätze, Sonnenschirme (und Liegen) nur gegen Gebühr.

The only thing we did not like was the fact that you had to pay for the use of the sun beds and that price was extortionate. None of the activities were free and again these were pricey.

Fast alles war geschlossen, der gesamte Poolkomplex und nahezu alle Restaurants und Bars. Die Information darüber hat uns leider erst vor Ort erreicht. Grund des Betreibers war schlechtes Wetter (25 Grad und Sonnenschein).

Villaggio molto grande , con piscine molto belle e un’area commerciale con negozi , bar e ristoranti . Personale molto gentile e disponibile . Ottimo per chi ha bambini . Una cosa negativa è la spiaggia , il villaggio è direttamente sul mare ma il mare non è accessibile a tutti essendoci una cementata che divide la spiaggia ( di sassi e sabbia grossa ) dal mare . Per chi ha problemi motori non si può scendere in acqua. Un’altra cosa negativa è il costo degli ombrelloni , 2 lettini ed un ombrellone sia in spiaggia che in piscina a 19 euro , dovrebbero essere inclusi nel costo della camera che è già abbastanza alto . La camera era ampia pulita ma abbastanza vecchia , il condizionatore gocciolava e non tutte le luci erano funzionanti . Notevole anche la distanza tra il parcheggio e l’appartamento.

Zaton Holiday Resort is a beautiful and well-maintained place, ideal for a family vacation. The facilities are great, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable. However, the prices for sunbeds at the pool are ridiculously high — €10 per bed is just too much. The on-site supermarket has decent prices for a camping resort, and you can find most essentials there. A big plus: there’s a fantastic bakery within walking distance in Nin — definitely a must-visit for a fresh and affordable breakfast!

En resort som har allt en familj behöver. Pooler, aktiviteter, restauranger, små butiker, bageri, glass, cafe. Jättefin strand. Vi var där i mitten på maj och då var det tydligt lågsäsong så mycket var stängt tyvärr. Men jag skulle absolut åka dit igen, vid högsäsong.

Jättefina poolområden men dålig info och personal som var mindre engagerade (förutom supertrevlig städpersonal och incheckningen) Boendet luktar unkelt och hade mögel i duschen plus brist på kökstillbehör.

Die Appartments waren nicht sauber und es waren Würmer in der Dusche!!!

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in diesem Hotel ist definitiv angemessen. Für den gezahlten Preis wurde viel geboten, und insgesamt hatten wir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Besonders das Personal verdient ein großes Lob: Alle waren sehr freundlich und sprachen fließend Englisch und Deutsch, was die Kommunikation leicht gemacht hat. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich, auch wenn man merkt, dass sie nicht mehr ganz neu sind. Kleinere Mängel, wie eine kaputte Vorhangstange oder der unangenehme Geruch aus dem Abfluss, könnten mit wenig Aufwand behoben werden und würden den Gesamteindruck noch weiter verbessern Das Frühstück war vielfältig, allerdings wäre es schön gewesen, wenn man sich bei manchen Speisen etwas mehr Mühe gegeben hätte. Zum Beispiel waren die Spiegeleier oft kalt, weil sie auf Vorrat zubereitet wurden. Hätte man diese frisch zubereitet, wäre das Frühstückserlebnis noch besser gewesen. Aber insgesamt war die Auswahl wirklich groß. Für zusätzliche Leistungen wie Handtücher muss man extra zahlen, was bei dem günstigen Preis verständlich ist. Auch der Zimmerservice könnte optimiert werden, vor allem in der Nebensaison, wo die Außenpools geschlossen sind. Dennoch kann man sich gut arrangieren, besonders wenn man den Preis bedenkt. Ein Auto vor Ort ist empfehlenswert. Den leichten Fluglärm in Zaton nimmt man zur Kenntnis. Überrascht waren wir, dass wir nur ein Schlafsofa als Bett hatten.

Das Zimmer war dreckig, viele Möbelstücke stark beschädigt. Schimmel im Bad lose Stromkabel und vieles mehr. Trotz Beschwerde Beschwerde bei der Rezeption gab es keine Reaktion. Sind sehr unzufrieden gewesen.

Bei dem Preis hätten wir mehr erwartet! Wir waren als vierköpfige Familie für 10 Tage im August 2025 vor Ort. Zimmer: das Zimmer war OK, aber mehr auch nicht. Direkt am ersten Tag haben wir reklamiert, dass die Tür des Kühlschrankes insofern defekt war, dass man keine Flaschen in die Tür packen konnte. die Halterung war herausgebrochen. Da es für uns gerade als Selbstversorger mit wenig Platz im kleinen Kühlschrank wichtig war hatten wir auf schnelle Reparatur gehofft. zweimal waren nette Techniker da und haben sich den Schaden angeschaut- bis zur Abreise tat sich aber nichts. Reinigung/Bettwäsche/Handtücher: eine Reinigung erfolgte während 10 Tagen Aufenthalt nicht, neue Bettwäsche und Handtücher erst nach Anforderung/Reklamation nach 7 Tagen via Email (den Besuch der Rezeption haben wir uns gespart, da dort immer lange Schlangen mit mind. einer halben Stunde Wartezeit waren.) sonstiges: Supermarkt deutlich teurer als außerhalb der Anlage. auch Speisen und Getränke übermäßig teuer. Anlage total überlaufen. Neuer Pool auch überfüllt. Sogar unseren Kindern war es in der Anlage zu rummelig/Kirmesfahrgeschäfte gab es natürlich auch in der Anlage. Wir waren froh, dass wir mit dem Auto mobil waren und nach Nin an den Strand konnten. Hier war auch kein Sonnenmilchfilm auf dem Meerwasser. Fazit: so eine Unterkunft bekommt man außerhalb der Anlage für den halben Preis von privaten Anbietern und wenn man unbedingt das Anlagenleben braucht, kann man dort abends auch so hingehen.

Fantastisk lägenhet, fint och rent på området. Bra mat och service nere på restaurangen vid stranden. Tyvärr mycket myror på rummet. Om man ville ha nya handdukar så kostar det 9 eur per handduk, samma med lakan. Väl inne på pool området kostar en solsäng utan madrass 15 euro, inget ingår utan allt kostar extra vilket är otroligt dåligt. Annars hade vi en trevlig upplevelse med familjen.

Gorgeous resort, beach and awesome pool. They have everything for kids. We were in the comfort apartments. The first night we got dirty stained sheets with a long hair and smelled used. This was on a SOFA pull out bed mattress. Check your sheets before getting in bed. See pics on google maps. The half board buffet is the worst tasting food we have ever had. It's like they make it so bad you will pay at the 4 restaurants. It's like a mad cattle rush for the half board buffet. Kids will eat anything. A shame for such a cool place.

Spent 3 nights here as our first abroad vacation with our 2 year old daughter. Chose the hotel due to it looked very child friendly and we were not disappointed. The pool area is great, several different pools both for adults that are like normal swimming pools and for kids that basically is a playground in the water. The hotel area is like a small town, it includes one supermarket, several restaurants (one with take away pizza), small shops etc. We stayed in an apartment which was very clean and had everything you could need. The camping area is on another side of the compound so if you are staying in an apartment you don’t really notice the camping. I have seen a lot of reviews complaining about the prices at the hotel but I don’t think it was that crazy, a beer was 4-5 euro and the dishes costed between 10-15 euro at most restaurants. There is a bar by the pool where you can buy burgers and toasts for 7 euro. It was a bit annoying though that the sun beds both by the pool and the beach costs money (5 euro per bed + additional 5 euro for a parasol). Besides the cost for sun beds which feels unnecessary and cheap by the hotel I have nothing to complain about. I wouldn’t mind coming back.

Die Zündvorrichtung des Herdes im Haus funktionierte nicht, obwohl ein Gasanschluss vorhanden war. Man konnte die Temperatur der Klimaanlage nicht nach Wunsch einstellen – sie sprang jedes Mal auf eine andere Stufe an. Das Haus war voller Ameisen, besonders im Badezimmer. Obwohl wir es gemeldet und es gereinigt wurde, war es am nächsten Tag wieder voller Ameisen. Ohne eine richtige Schädlingsbekämpfung lässt sich dieses Problem nicht lösen – eine einmalige Reinigung reicht nicht aus. Das Badezimmer war schmutzig, der Abfluss verstopft. Der Haartrockner war sehr alt. Der Balkon musste jeden Tag gefegt werden, weil ständig Nadeln und Zweige der Kiefern darauf fielen. Die Sonnenliegen und Sonnenschirme sind kostenpflichtig.

Erg groot. Wel wat overlast van mensen die voor hun kamer muziek hadden en zaten te drinken en te schteeuwen. Eten halfpension was in orde. Echt een familie resort.

The apartment is big and has fridge and kitchenette which is very convenient. Also has a nice terrace. However if you look for a view this is not the right option. The apartment had lots of ants.

The overall staying experience at the resort was nice. Facilities in the resort were good too. The apartment itself are old with not so good furniture. Beds are not so comfy as it needs to be improved. The apartment itself was spacious but everything is old inside. Check-out is at 0900 which is too early from my point as you won’t be having your breakfast which ends at 10:00. The staff was fine but they don’t offer support if you have a family with you and if you are checking-in very late due to the flight. So, maybe these are recommendations to improve. Overall the experience was good.

The resort area is very big and has many restaurants, activities and a long shore line. Restaurant food quality was mediocre, we tried two restaurans in the resort area. Rooms are quite nice but the problem for us were VERY noisy neighbours. They played loud music until 4 a.m. on both nights we stayed there so could not sleep well. The rooms have no sound proofing whatsoever.

Familjevänlig resort med massor av olika aktiviteter. Välskött och fint överallt. Vi reste lite sent på säsongen (månadsskiftet sept/okt) så allt var tyvärr inte öppet men man behövde å andra sidan inte trängas bland folk. Vi bodde i en lägenhet som var rymlig och bra. Enda minuset var sängarna som tyvärr var stenhårda och kuddarna som var alldeles för höga.

Très bon séjour dans l'hôtel. Je ne sais pas s'il y avait un problème mais attendre plus d'une heure pour le check-in, ça commence à faire très long. On a eu la chance d'être surclassé d'un studio pour deux à un appartement pour 4, ce qui nous a laissé plus de place. L'état général était bon. Le parking qui se trouve tout autour du complexe est compris dans le prix même si les avis sur ce dernier peuvent faire peur.

Reception staff is very rude and has no courtesy for customers, they should be trained. On the other hand entertainment team is amazing - hats off to Petra and Antonio. Overall not great experience: - horrible check in experience - understaffed reception so long queues - everything is paid for additionally - lack of instructions from reception - reception line doesn’t work so you can’t reach out to them from room - no tea or coffee in the room - no electricity for a period of time - TVs are obsolete and hardly work

The are itself is quite nice but we had too many issues ranging from mosquitoes in the room, faulty AC and other issues. The reception is always crowded and there was no one to help.

Unbelievable location and range of activities and shopping options in one place Best option for families with kids Food choices unlimited and very good Accommodations and average, light bulbs were off Front desk staff overwhelmed and gives minimal information at the check in. They should talk about all the options at the property. It took us a week to figure things out. It would make a huge difference if check in staff would explain different options at the resort.

Check in was a bit too slow, almost 45 minutes. Access to pool closes too early (5-6pm). Good place for families

I was disappointed overall. 1. there were issues with things not working which were resolved but caused inconvenience nevertheless. 2. Quality of the food and service levels are poor. Never have I been told by cafe staff ‘we will come to you when we are ready!’. 3. It’s a private beach yet they charge you for sunloungers / parasols

Amazing place. The reception was excellent. We arrived at midnight and as requested they kept the dinner for us. Can’t fault anything in this resort.

Fryktelig treg innsjekking!! Greit rom. God service på restauranter og ellers ett nydelig sted. Men 25min ++ for å sjekke inn er dårlig.

Sehr grosse Anlage. Für Familien bestimmt sehr gut geignet. Wir haben in der Nachsaison eine günstige Übernachtung als Startpunkt für verschiedene Tagesausflüge genutzt. Frühstück war gut haben es aber nur einen Tag genutzt. Restaurant war uns zu groß und zu laut. Ansonsten schöne gepflegte Anlage

Var på zaton fyra nätter i början av maj, jättefin resort med pooler strand beachclub och massa aktiviteter runt omkring såsom golf minigolf klätterrosen båtuthyrning etc. Vissa saker var stängda men det tänker jag berodde på att säsongen inte riktigt startat upp. Synd var att gymmet inte var öppet, gymmet var riktigt slitet då det var ett utomhusgym. Frukosten var jättebra men man skall veta att lokalerna där den ät är jättestor ca 800 platser med väldigt hög volym och stojigt och stökigt kring all då öppettiderna är 7-10 så många kommer kring nio och då blir det kaos. Vår sista frukost var det massa tillresta inför helgen ca 500 gäster totalt detta skapade köer till allt. I receptionen var det ofta köer och ärenden där dröjde lång tid då det är en enorm anläggning att serva. Vidare rekommenderar jag att man har egen bil då det är stökigt att få tag i taxi då det ligger en smula off. Bolt och iver kan funka dit men är svårt därifrån då chaufförer inte gärna åker 30min ut till zaton för att plocka upp sällskap om de inte har körningar i området. Cyklar kan hyras på området för 20€ per dag elcyklar 40€ per dag och elskatt 30€ per dag Direkt utanför området ligger en Plodine affär där man kan handla alla livsmedel man behöver och ta er in till Nin ca 25min promenad magiskt fint och bra restauranger.

Beautifully located apartments, great for families with kids. The apartment has everything you need for your stay, but you can see some facilities are getting worn. Not a big issue though, but the price was quite high. We came at midnight and i it was hard to find the exact apartment number, street etc. They should have some signs that would easili navigate you through the entire park. We would come back again❤️

Ideale per famiglie con bambini, si caratterizza per la struttura con piscine e giochi d'acqua per il divertimento dei più piccoli e non. Pulizia buona e personale cordiale. Non esiste la raccolta differenziata. Il mare è ok, ma nulla di trascendentale, anche rispetto a certi altri della Croazia. Spiaggia mista sabbia marroncina e sassi, non bellissima. Prezzi completamente "esplosi" in tutto il paese croato, sicuramente ormai superiori in tanti aspetti a quelli italiani, possono fare riprogrammare le ferie verso altre località.

Schöne Anlage mit tollen Angeboten, so dass jedermanns Geschmack getroffen wird. Kaum was auszusetzen, bis auf den Strand an dem wir waren. Leider geht das Meer nicht so tief und dementsprechend nicht für jeden geeignet. Aber andererseits wäre ein Urlaub mit Kindern an genau so einem Strand super empfehlenswert.

Eine sehr schöne Anlage. Das Essen war fantastisch. Im April war noch nicht alles offen, aber uns hat nichts gefehlt.

Staff was very helpful. Disappointed at the price of food and drinks. Some of the amenities (mini glolf, archery,...) were closed with any info on website.

This resort was beautiful, food was delicious!

Breakfast for vegetarian and Vegan could be made better.

Really great resort. Safe and good for family trips. The rooms are old and we have lots of bugs in it but the outdoor facilities and activities made up for it. Swimming pool is great and the beach is lovely. The dining option was great as well but we did realize some of the food were a bit off.

Gorgeous resort, beach and awesome pool. They have everything for kids. We were in the comfort apartments. The first night we got dirty stained sheets with a long hair and smelled used. This was on a SOFA pull out bed mattress. Check your sheets before getting in bed. See pics on google maps. The half board buffet is the worst tasting food we have ever had. It's like they make it so bad you will pay at the 4 restaurants. It's like a mad cattle rush for the half board buffet. Kids will eat anything. A shame for such a cool place.

Spent 3 nights here as our first abroad vacation with our 2 year old daughter. Chose the hotel due to it looked very child friendly and we were not disappointed. The pool area is great, several different pools both for adults that are like normal swimming pools and for kids that basically is a playground in the water. The hotel area is like a small town, it includes one supermarket, several restaurants (one with take away pizza), small shops etc. We stayed in an apartment which was very clean and had everything you could need. The camping area is on another side of the compound so if you are staying in an apartment you don’t really notice the camping. I have seen a lot of reviews complaining about the prices at the hotel but I don’t think it was that crazy, a beer was 4-5 euro and the dishes costed between 10-15 euro at most restaurants. There is a bar by the pool where you can buy burgers and toasts for 7 euro. It was a bit annoying though that the sun beds both by the pool and the beach costs money (5 euro per bed + additional 5 euro for a parasol). Besides the cost for sun beds which feels unnecessary and cheap by the hotel I have nothing to complain about. I wouldn’t mind coming back.
