Die Zimmer waren nicht wirklich sauber, Haare im Bad und die Luft war schlecht. Frische Luft konnte man nicht rein lassen. Das Frühstück war von der Auswahl nicht so für uns. Kaum Aufschnitt, viel warme Speisen die mich an die Indische Küche erinnern. Der Pool war wegen eines Kindergeburtstags gesperrten. Somit konnte man die aussen Bar nicht nutzen.

Uns hat es wie jedes Jahr sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal ist super zuvorkommend und freundlich und die Zimmer sind gut sowie zweckmäßig eingerichtet und wurden immer gut gereinigt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Es gibt viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie einheimische Restaurants in der Nähe und die Metro ist auch nicht weit. Ein willkommener Bonus für unsere Kinder war der tägliche kostenlose Shuttle zum Beach. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder :-)

Super Lage um das alte Dubai zu entdecken und auch die Metro ist zu Fuß erreichbar. I had a delightful weekend stay at the Novotel Deira. The staff were all vry kind, helpful and attentive. The breakfast was a great value and a great way to start the day. I enjoyed early morning walks in the park adjacent to the hotel and evening stops in Vertigo, the lobby bar. Thank you to Jun, Maureen and all of the wonderful staff.

Værelserne fremstod støvede, og madrasserne havde gule pletter, hvilket var utilfredsstillende. Det var heller ikke muligt at lufte ud, da vinduerne ikke kunne åbnes. It’s a good location, a few minutes walk from the Deira City Center mall and the metro. It’s also not too far from the souks. Most of the staff I met were welcoming, lovely and helpful. The gentleman that checked me in was patient and welcoming. There were about 4 of us waiting to be attended to but he tried to be as quick as possible. The team member in charge of tours encouraged me to try the metro for the first time and I enjoyed it. You get an iron, ironing board, dryer, bath tub and shower, mini fridge, bottles of water, safe, etc in your room. They try to provide your every need. Downsides - cleanliness is a no no. There was an old peanut stuck to the telephone in my room and the handset was dirty. The room had a stuffy smell that denotes more cleaning of the furniture or carpets is required. I was quite uncomfortable due to the stuffy smell so spent a lot of time outdoors. In addition, the maintenance team decided to do some work after 9pm right on top of my room. I wish they had done that during the day when I was out instead of hammering that late at night. There were no USB ports for charging in the room so my devices went off but a lovely female member of the security team downstairs assisted me to charge my watch. I think this hotel would benefit from a slight upgrade of in-room facilities and enhanced cleanliness.

Hotellet er lidt slidt og man kan godt se det har nogle år på bagen. Værelset var god størrelse men sengen hård som sten. Belysning på badeværelset mangelfuld og vandtrykket ikke eksisterende. Morgenmaden henvender sig 100% til indere som der da også er en hel del af på hotellet

The only positive thing about this hotel is the location. Unfortunately, everything else was a major disappointment. We booked the room for 4 people, but the room was extremely tiny and completely unsuitable for that many people. There was only one proper bed for a single person and a very small sofa bed with no comforter or proper bedding provided. As a result, three of us had to squeeze onto the one-person bed, while the person on the tiny sofa bed had to sleep without any comforter at all and stayed awake most of the night. The service was very poor and unhelpful when we raised these issues. No effort was made to provide additional bedding or improve the situation.

I’m very disappointed with the allocated unit compared to property advertisement. The description said double room with sofa bed but in reality it means single room with a queen bed, sofa bed in a very congested sqft. The bathroom has no locks and glass doors and it is very acquared to use bathroom with family members. Very old property costed me close to a 5star hotels

Prenotato per 4, in camera ho trovato un letto matrimoniale e una piccola poltrona letto singola. Chiedo alla reception e mi dicono che l'hotel non dispone di camere familiari o quadruple, e di solito 2 bambini dormono nella poltrona letto. Faccio presente che avevo indicato l'età dei ragazzi, 15 e 17 anni, e nella prenotazione mi avevano confermato un letto King size e un divano letto matrimoniale. Alla fine mi hanno aggiunto un letto tra i due presenti che ha occupato interamente il poco spazio libero. Se non hanno camere quadruple mi domando perché mai propongano soluzioni per 4 persone. Per fortuna avevo prenotato solo per 2 notti. Colazione decente, personale gentile. Se siete in 4 evitate questo hotel.

Stayed 1 night only in here since we arrived very late at Dubai. Changed to another hotel the next day. The location was okay, 2 stops only on the Metro from DXB, then a few minutes walk from the station. We booked a 2 single-bed room but when we arrived we were told there's only a 1-bed + sofabed room left. We insisted and at last were provided with a 2-bed room. Anyway, the hotel's condition was below par, most parts inside the room looked visibly aged, especially the toilet. Since our stay was just a quick overnight stay, it was barely acceptable. But if you are looking for a more extended stay, I think there should be plenty other options available nearer to the city centre.

I booked a family room for four people and selected what appeared to be the largest option available when booking. However, upon arrival, I was told that all rooms are the same size. The room we received was very small. To accommodate four guests, the hotel converted a sofa into a bed and added an extra small bed. Both the sofa bed and the additional bed were extremely uncomfortable and made a lot of noise—very poor quality overall. The bathroom was also disappointing: it was not clean, and there was no privacy. There was a massive gap around the bathroom door, which made the experience very uncomfortable. I tried to change rooms, but was informed that all rooms were identical in size, so there was no alternative. If you are traveling as a group of four, do not be misled by the “family room” description or the impression of larger space. It is not suitable for four people.

It has run down a lot - the rooms are noisy, and the front desk staff is not professional and helpful s as they used to be! Do not honour professional commitments. However, Cleaning and Porter service staffs were excellent and exceptionally helpful!

Our room was booked for 2 adults and 3 children. On arrival the room only had a one double bed and we were assured it was a double sofa bed as well. When someone arrived to make the bed up, we had to request an additional bed as it was barely a single size so not adequate for our needs. We arrived at 1.30am and the room should have been ready for our arrival and all beds made up. This delay in sorting the bedding arrangements delayed our children getting to sleep until 3.30am.

excellent stay. this hotel is highly recommended . rooms are good for the money-bathroom , shower, bed,linens, air conditioning-all very good. the staff-from check in to check out-all polite, always willing to accommodate their guests-they even granted us a late checkout. location is perfect-at least 5 inexpensive but nice restaurants beside the hotel, then there's the deira city center mall in front-just across the street, then the metro station is just 2 minutes walk.

I stay here every time I am in Dubai - the location near the airport and across the street from the mall are so convenient! But best of all, are the incredible staff - they make me feel like I'm coming back home to their hotel every time I arrive.
