Vi besökte i maj - kallt o regnigt- det är ett rent sommarhotell, passar mindre bra andra årstider Undermåliga sänglampor och dålig belysning för övrigt i rummet. Höga priser i restaurang och bar - dyraste öl jag någonsin druckit!! Vi har möjlighet att jämföra då vi reser runt i Europa under april/ maj. Fint läge vid havet!

Ein tolles Haus. Vor zehn Jahren schon einmal dort gewesen. Leider wurde zwischenzeitlich der Parkplatz vor dem Museum gewandelt. Eine etwas bessere Parkmöglichkeit hätte den Gesamteindruck noch verbessert. Hervorzuheben ist das angeschlossene Restaurant. Hier gibt es die besten Miesmuscheln! Auch das Sorbet Pomme ist sehr zu empfehlen! Ruhig wird es im Ort, wenn die Tagestouristen abgereist sind. Den 5. Stern gibt es, wenn eine bessere Lösung für die Parkplatzsituation gefunden wird.

Lovely! Highly recommend staying here. Located right on the sea with gorgeous views of the beach and right in the heart of town near restaurants and shops. Great outdoor cafe with views to the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were small but well furnished and looked to be recently updated.

Comme a chaque fois l'Hotel de la Marine a su rendre notre week-end très agréable. Un petit déjeuner varié et copieux, une chambre grande avec vue sur mer, un personnel très agréable et serviable. Le top on peut venir avec notre chienne qui s'y plait autant que nous ☺️

We stayed in a small room with a lovely view of the Arromanche beaches. The location of this hotel provided wonderful access to Normandy D day landing sites, museums and cemeteries. It is directly across from the recently renovated Museum de Debarquement in Arromanche. We lived out of our suitcase as there was no dresser or closet. Despite this limitation, we had a wonderful time during the 3 day stay. The front desk was very accommodating, letting us check in at 1pm on the date of our arrival. They also let us use a parking spot in the employee parking, although this is not generally available. We enjoyed the meals in the restaurant so much that we had breakfast and dinner there for all 3 days. It was both a historic and romantic accommodation. We definitely want to return!

Dans l'incompréhension totale face au bons commentaires lus avant notre voyage. Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel attirés par son emplacement idéal en bord de mer, avec une vue splendide sur la plage, un vrai point fort. Nous pensions mettre le prix pour bénéficier d'une chambre jolie. Tout d'abord, nous avons été déçus de ne pas avoir la même chambre que celle vu lors de notre réservation, la décoration étant moins jolie. Malheureusement, la chambre n’était pas du tout à la hauteur du tarif payé. La salle de bain présentait des traces de moisissure, les rideaux étaient trop petits pour couvrir entièrement la fenêtre, et des lumières extérieures situées juste au pied de notre chambre restaient allumées toute la nuit, rendant le sommeil très difficile. À cela s’ajoutait une mauvaise isolation phonique : nous entendions les conversations et passages dans le couloir jusque tard dans la soirée (23h30). Une expérience globalement décevante malgré le cadre.

Les deux ladies de l'accueil de l'hôtel sont sympathiques et très aimable et d'une gentillesse. Ça fait du bien, on a tendance a en perdre l'habitude. Et comme c'est le premièr contact avec l'hôtel, ça laisse une très bonne première impression. La chambre est propre et bien entretenu, literie très correct, et 2 oreillers par personnes, de quoi retrouver ses habitudes. Et la vue au petit matin sur les mulberry et la plage au soleil levant, c'est vraiment top.

There was no wardrobes or drawers and when we asked if it was possible to have a room with somewhere to unpack they had nothing available but did move us to a room with a stunning view of the sea. Anbefaler dette hotellet. Supervennlige damer i resepsjonen. Rent, koselig rom og fantastisk utsikt. Sjarmerende by med fine museer og turmuligheter. Restauranten drives av andre. Med god mat, så er det trist. Men Ikke la middemådig service ødelegge for selve hotellet. De som serverer virker for travle og er uinteresserte. De bryr seg ikke, etter som de ikke kommer til å se deg igjen.

My wife and I have been wanting to stay at the Hotel de la Marine for almost 20 years, since we ate at the restaurant there. Our stay of a single night was quite special. The excellent and friendly staff arranged a sea-view room for us and we were delighted with our views over la manche. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food lived up to our previous expectations. Whole crab, followed by Dover sole and lobster linguine.....and an excellent bottle of Quincy vin blanc. Many thanks to the Hotel de la Marine! Merci beaucoup!

Waren hier in mei 2025. Voor een 3 sterrenhotel niks dan lof. Hadden wel de meest mooie kamer met uitzicht op zee. Mooi ingericht met iets kleine badkamer, maar voldeed prima. Personeel erg aardig en voorkomend. Aanrader!!

We stayed in a small room with a lovely view of the Arromanche beaches. The location of this hotel provided wonderful access to Normandy D day landing sites, museums and cemeteries. It is directly across from the recently renovated Museum de Debarquement in Arromanche. We lived out of our suitcase as there was no dresser or closet. Despite this limitation, we had a wonderful time during the 3 day stay. The front desk was very accommodating, letting us check in at 1pm on the date of our arrival. They also let us use a parking spot in the employee parking, although this is not generally available. We enjoyed the meals in the restaurant so much that we had breakfast and dinner there for all 3 days. It was both a historic and romantic accommodation. We definitely want to return!

Hotel has a beautiful view that’s all it has going for it. Checked in around 8:00/8:30pm late enough, we were starving the Hotel restaurant/manager would not accommodate us. He said the restaurant was full I walked right in and counted 20 empty seats. Breakfast was worse you walk in to a woman vacuuming and the cord across your pathway. No one in the dining room directing/helping guests at all. Totally unorganized.

My wife and I have been wanting to stay at the Hotel de la Marine for almost 20 years, since we ate at the restaurant there. Our stay of a single night was quite special. The excellent and friendly staff arranged a sea-view room for us and we were delighted with our views over la manche. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food lived up to our previous expectations. Whole crab, followed by Dover sole and lobster linguine.....and an excellent bottle of Quincy vin blanc. Ein tolles Haus. Vor zehn Jahren schon einmal dort gewesen. Leider wurde zwischenzeitlich der Parkplatz vor dem Museum gewandelt. Eine etwas bessere Parkmöglichkeit hätte den Gesamteindruck noch verbessert. Hervorzuheben ist das angeschlossene Restaurant. Hier gibt es die besten Miesmuscheln! Auch das Sorbet Pomme ist sehr zu empfehlen! Ruhig wird es im Ort, wenn die Tagestouristen abgereist sind. Den 5. Stern gibt es, wenn eine bessere Lösung für die Parkplatzsituation gefunden wird.

We had a wonderful stay at Hôtel De La Marine. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach and the historic D-Day sites. The staff were very welcoming, the room was clean, and the breakfast was excellent. The only small downside was that the room did not have air conditioning. We visited during the exceptional June heatwave, so the room became quite warm at night. Under normal weather conditions, this would probably not be an issue. Overall, we would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.
