Kings Cross Hotel has a great team, nothing too much trouble at all. Location is central, which is great. Our premium room was okay, a few things could have made the world of difference, such as bathroom extractor fan working, bath mat and hand towel, and a second mirror, as the only one in the bathroom took ages to clear after a shower due to no fan. A downstairs coffee machine replaced the in room tea and coffee, but as a tea drinker, the tea wasnt good. Other than that, had a good stay, but it had the potential to be great one!!

Good hotel, friendly staff/owner, very helpful, american style diner chill area with pool table. Bar reasonably priced. Cooked us a burger at 2am after night out, life saver.

For what it cost this place is great value and the owner could not have been more hospitable & helpful. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable We stayed there as a band who were performing at The Winter Gardens and this was justa short walk. Plus the bar was open until 3am so we made the most of it.

Was easy to get to once you knew where to go. Its small and friendly. Family business they was all great and cook yummy Burgers :) Was only stairs but we could keep our pram in the dinning/ entertainment room were it was safe :) Was a great stay planning on going again

A great budget hotel. I just wanted a bed for the night after a gig and this was spot on. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a well stocked bar area and another room with a pool table and games machines. Breakfast is only available Saturday, Sunday and school holidays but there are cafes at the end of the street. The lady who checked me in was lovely. I would definitely stay again if I'm in town for a gig.

Not bad for the price only stayed one night very close to the beach family run hotel all very helpful Pillows were lumpy but did sleep well would of been top notch to have tea and coffee in the rooms would stay again

They have an on site bar and kitchen for surprisingly fair prices. They even deliver the food to your room once it's ready. Bed was comfy enough, I guess that's the main thing you look for in a hotel 😂

Check in was quick and friendly. Room and en suite was compact. Bed was a very small double. Room clean & tidy, bathroom could do with updating, towels tatty but clean. Downstairs bar was well stocked and dining area was a great space with coffee machine.

The room we had was very poor, up 3 narrow flights of stairs with luggage, Window did not close as the latch is broken, room was very cold, heating does not work, toilet was very close to the wall u have to sit on the loo facing the side or your knees hit the wall... not a good en suite, i am size 8! The shower head kept tilting and falling off. Wifi would not connect in our room so had to use our mobile hotspot! Overall a terrible stay. Glad we was only there 1 night. There is no on site parking at this facility. You have to pay £18 per day in a near by council car park at the top of the road.

We stayed in a family room up 5 lots of stairs with a toddler and a 4 year old and suitcases we had a double bed and triple bunkbeds which were to high for the kids to sleep in we had to take the mattresses off the beds foe them to have a sleep, the bottom bunk bed,s pillow case and quilt cover was covered in make up which was disgusting, there was no tea or coffee facilities in the room , the shower did not drain when using it we definitely wont be back to stay there again.

Stayed with my daughter and her friend (15 & 16yrs) we had a triple room. The hotel was really clean and the room was lovely, there was plenty to do within the hotel. Arcade games and pool table, the drinks from the bar were really reasonably priced. It had a lovely atmosphere and a warm welcome, we were greeted by Tegan who was absolutely lovely. She made sure we were well looked after and even when she was busy she made sure we had everything we needed. Her waffles were amazing too! The location is perfect, around 3 minutes walk to coral island. We had a lovely stay and will definitely be going back! Big thank you to Tegan for having us. Highly recommend this hotel.

On entry very welcoming, short wait at arrival time as the room was still being cleaned which was fair enough so bought a drink while waiting, then was told there were no tea/coffee facilities due to health and safety issues but could purchase from a coffee machine downstairs (this wasn't ideal for someone who drinks alot of coffee) £1.85 per cup is excessive when it’s complimentary with most hotels/b&bs, We stayed in a budget double room, it was spacious and tidy but there were what looked like blood stains on the blinds, we pulled the duvet back and there were a few small bits and 1 or 2 short hairs on the bedsheet and pillow, we couldn't get in the room at first as it had just been cleaned, other than that was a good stay.

If you want breakfast dont bother ordering, booked 2 days in a row and they failed to show up to cook it both days. Bed is like sleeping on a brick and its a small double so if youre booking for 2 adults i hope you like to sleep ontop of each other and you have to pay for extra pillows (they did give me one but think it was a guilt on not making breakfast when it was booked and paid for) bedrooms are very basic with draws inside however the draws where full of hair and dust so not really anywhere to put clothes. Carpets where filthy with tab burns on. Get what you pay for i suppose but it wont be somewhere we stay again.

Arrived and room wasn’t cleaned properly. Ring mark on sideboard. Told the owner who first said the ring was an old one they couldn’t get off and that the rooms were made up and cleaned for each guest. I then said there was no toilet paper he then apologised and went along to clean and replace. I later noticed the base of the shower was also rotten. And the sides of the carpet looked rotten. We had stayed a number of years ago and couldn’t fault it nothing too much trouble etc. I’m sorry to say but with that much competition I won’t be back.

It was advertised as sleeping 2 people and the size of the room was shocking. I stated that it was an adult and a 14 year old and i was expected to share the same bed!! Declined a refund! I highly reccomend you stay elsewhere!

A pleasant stay, Triple Room but extremely tight for 2 adults and a teen. Double bed was tiny also and very much a tight squeeze for my husband and I. The bathroom was very dated and would benefit from an upgrade. Overall the staff were friendly and the room was clean.

The service was amazing. Staff was very friendly and courteous. I just didn’t expect the room to be so small. A double bed in a box room. The hallway carpets and furniture could do with new ones.

Required to order and pay for breakfast the night before. The next morning the breakfast hours were posted as 0800 to 1000. We were there at 0800, no one around. We waited an hour (0900), called their number, no one answered and got no breakfast. Out the money. We had to get on the road.

Kings Cross Hotel has a great team, nothing too much trouble at all. Location is central, which is great. Our premium room was okay, a few things could have made the world of difference, such as bathroom extractor fan working, bath mat and hand towel, and a second mirror, as the only one in the bathroom took ages to clear after a shower due to no fan. A downstairs coffee machine replaced the in room tea and coffee, but as a tea drinker, the tea wasnt good. Other than that, had a good stay, but it had the potential to be great one!!

Really warm welcome and explained about the hotel and shown around very friendly and lovely people. Rooms were nice and spacious and clean. However the double bed was small and uncomfortable but didn’t put us off, will be visiting again soon. Xxx

Excellent customer service and very friendly staff . We were served drinks until late and even had a great burger cooked for us at about 1am !

If you want breakfast dont bother ordering, booked 2 days in a row and they failed to show up to cook it both days. Bed is like sleeping on a brick and its a small double so if youre booking for 2 adults i hope you like to sleep ontop of each other and you have to pay for extra pillows (they did give me one but think it was a guilt on not making breakfast when it was booked and paid for) bedrooms are very basic with draws inside however the draws where full of hair and dust so not really anywhere to put clothes. Carpets where filthy with tab burns on. Get what you pay for i suppose but it wont be somewhere we stay again.

Martin the host was great very helpful & friendly, the owner Paris is a lovely guy too fixed the broken door handle instantly again lovely friendly guy oh an the burgers they make onsite are absolutely delicious Rooms could do with a fan as very warm otherwise great stay thanks see you again

Before we could check in we where greated by the owener , ..... you cant check in till 2! Then shut the door we just wanted to know where we could park. The place smelt dirty. The bed was so tiny . Very out dated . The next day couldnt get breakfast as the chef didnt arrive. When we asked whst time breakfast is Serviced to , the owner said next 5 minutes. A customer of the hotel who had been waiting a long time told us about the chef not turning up. Cheap enough but dirty and the owner didnt seem interested.

Property was in a brilliant location 5mins walk to beach, was well equipped and staff were brilliant very helpful, only 2 negatives, smell of food until early hours of morning, part my fault due to window being open, 22c during the day, and the local bin wagon giving a 5am wake up call. Apart from that fairly decent stay.

Hotel was good, close to the centre which is what we wanted, parking was ok and not far from the hotel, rooms could of done with a lock of paint but other than that all good

Not bad for the price only stayed one night very close to the beach family run hotel all very helpful Pillows were lumpy but did sleep well would of been top notch to have tea and coffee in the rooms would stay again

Required to order and pay for breakfast the night before. The next morning the breakfast hours were posted as 0800 to 1000. We were there at 0800, no one around. We waited an hour (0900), called their number, no one answered and got no breakfast. Out the money. We had to get on the road.

For what it cost this place is great value and the owner could not have been more hospitable & helpful. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable We stayed there as a band who were performing at The Winter Gardens and this was justa short walk. Plus the bar was open until 3am so we made the most of it.

Was easy to get to once you knew where to go. Its small and friendly. Family business they was all great and cook yummy Burgers :) Was only stairs but we could keep our pram in the dinning/ entertainment room were it was safe :) Was a great stay planning on going again

A great budget hotel. I just wanted a bed for the night after a gig and this was spot on. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a well stocked bar area and another room with a pool table and games machines. Breakfast is only available Saturday, Sunday and school holidays but there are cafes at the end of the street. The lady who checked me in was lovely. I would definitely stay again if I'm in town for a gig.

Great welcome, shown around room and hotel. Room looked lovely, bathroom was absolutely tiny with no proper toilet seat. Beds were not the best but we were there for only one night. Food served until 3am and the burgers were amazing! Great area downstairs with pool tables etc really good vibe down there. We would stay again but take our own pillows.

They have an on site bar and kitchen for surprisingly fair prices. They even deliver the food to your room once it's ready. Bed was comfy enough, I guess that's the main thing you look for in a hotel 😂

Good service always helpful and smiley. No coffee or tea facilities in the room you have to buy coffee and stuff from the machine downstairs. Breakfast was lovely. My only issue was checking in with a 5 year old and a group of grown men pushed in front and just checked in before us after entering 10 mins after us. Other than that no issues at all.

Lovely hotel . Connor was excellent host he was very informative and showed us how to open and lock doors with the fob. We had a fabulous breakfast that was pre ordered the night before but he only starts cooking when you come down . Im definitely staying again next time I.go to Blackpool. Thanks

Was charged £3 more than the booking price. The new owners are trying to improve the hotel but no kettle in the room is a pain, especially as you had to go get it from downstairs. My other critisism was the mattress on the bed was terrible, everytime you rolled over it woke you with the noise. Not really nice when you can hear the springs next door creaking while they where having sex.

Staff attentive. Room so basic it didn't even have bedside lamps, toilet tissue in a container on the wall behind the toilet so whilst sitting i could only get one square oblved my shoulder at a time
