Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland East/Mayfield Village

Staff was rude Carpets need to be replaced Gym has 0 weights on the weight rack Machines in gym not working and employee placed sign on pool that it was out of service bc she didn’t want kids going in it which ruined my kids stay. We overheard her talking about it. We swam day one of our stay and the jacuzzi was it of order that day and the entire pool was shut down after. The laundry room was also out of order.

Nice property, nice rooms. Pool was freezing cold, hot tub was not in operation. The problem with hot tub was not mentioned at time of booking

We booked this hotel specifically for the pool and hot tub. At check in, we asked where the pool was and she gave directions without mentioning that the hot tub was empty and the pool was filthy, freezing cold and obviously had not been I use for quite some time. There was a gross bandage and clump of black hair floating in the cold and dirty pool. We went back to our room took our bathing suits off and listened to a 3year old cry for an hour because we couldn’t swim. The staff seemed nonexistent and when I did get someone to check us in she was not friendly.

The staff was very accommodating. The business office was always available and fully stocked with supplies.

We stay here frequently it's always quality. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond. Room was clean and comfortable. On this trip the spa (hot tub) in the pool area was out of order. If this is something important to you call ahead before you book. The restaurant was not open for dinner but the front desk provided a list of alternative restaurants nearby that delivered. Great free parking. Area around the hotel is quiet. Easy access to the freeway.

It was a work trip. I love not leaving the hotel for dinner. The menu was rather limited and I'm gluten free but Reynard, the server, helped me sift through. Gotta say the chicken wings and Ceasar salad were perfect!

Great place to stay right outside Cleveland. Easy parking. Clean and quiet area.

Indicated amenities included a full service restaurant. This was not the case. The hotel was conveniently located

Hot tub hasn't worked for a long time, pool was closed the whole time we were there! They should take these amenities off the website!

The hot tub was not available but was advertised one of the reasons I picked this hotel.

Ice machine was broke and ceiling above had a mold exposed huge section. Hot tub had cones around it and was gross. Lobby area was fine. Our view was all the buildings mechanical and the highway was right there. The only bright spot was the desk help and a very nice helper in the dining at breakfast. Do NOT stay there.

Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Hotel was clean and well kept. It was also very quiet. Felt very safe here. Close to highway and also shopping. Parking was very accessible. Will stay again and also recommending this to friends and family,

The room had stains on the walls and curtains. I want to think it was hot sauce (not blood). The AC system has never been dusted, which made my allergies act up. There were people talking in the hallway at least until 3 am, which made me feel unsafe. The people in the room next to me were drying their hair and talking at 4 am. I couldn't sleep all night. No water bottles in the room. The restaurant/bar was only open for breakfast. Nothing within walking distance for food or drink or anything.

Very clean

The place was so dusty my friend and i woke up with horrible allergies and headaches. The rooms are outdated and the ice machine on our floor was broken.

Mike at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet.

One of our beds had dirty sheets on it. Our keys to the room would not work correctly had to keep going to the front desk to have it reprogrammed and there needles in the hallway on floor that we had male housekeeper pick up so no one would step on it.

Was very disappointed . Stayed there for the pool and hot tub. Have been there before over the years. This property has not been kept up at all. Dirty,room smelled musty & moldy & like pets. Pool Was filthy ,hot tub not there anymore. Very dated and needs a serious remodel.

No running water when we arrived, water was yellow when it turned on and sink clogged with hair

my bed sounded like it was gonna fall apart. the little yipper dog above me barked every two hours all night long. my son wanted a bath but their was someone elses hair all over the tub. at breakfast me and my son were seated at a table already with drinks and toast and a guest demanded we move cause he supposedly reserved it for his 30 people when he was not even in the area when we initially sat down. so me and my son had to wait for seats and then had to wait longer for our food cause their 30 people were served buffet style FIRST (because they had so many people our food had to be made to order when we literally wanted exactly what was at the buffet.)

Everything was fine but needs some refurbishing. Looks old. Carpet needs replacing

The female desk clerk was unfriendly. They only clean the rooms every other day. We had to go downstairs to get clean towels. The wall made banging sounds everytime we ran the water. The pillows were so uncomfortable. Its located in a area that looked like an industrial area

Towel rack is inside the shower...this makes no sense. Continental breakfast was an additional 7.95...Thats just stupid, never paid for continental breakfast. Room was clean...but small. Staff was very friendly

We had a great stay while on a long road trip. Beds were very comfortable.

The bed linens appeared clean. However, was extremely disappointed with the overall appearance and general cleanliness of the hotel. All of the carpeting NEEDS to be replaced. Besides being dated it was dirty with visible stain marks and ground in dirt in the lobby, halls and our rooms. Parts of the tile in the lobby were cracked. Our room door needed to be closed with force. The furniture was also dated with visible large scrapes. The bed was very uncomfortable. My general comments is this hotel needs updating!

Accommodations were very nice. Hotel does need a face-lift, but I learned from chatting with the staff that they plan on doing that. I didn’t realize until I was leaving that the room next to me had a family with 2 pets. I would hope that they would designate certain rooms for people with pets and are in a separate area from other guests.

The stay was ok. The hotel was a little outdated and the beds were very squeaky, just sitting on them.

The hotel was really a pleasant surprise. The staff was excellent - breakfast was excellent. And everything was reasonably priced. You are doing it right!

My stay was nice and this easily could have been a 5 star review however, when I arrived, which was 30mins before check in, the lady said they didn’t have any rooms available. I asked would it be available by 3 and she said she’s not sure. That’s a huge inconvenience for someone who’s been traveling since 5am. I was super tired. I didn’t get into my room until about 4. This was after MULTIPLE walked in and got their rooms. Paulina assisted me and got me into a room. The gym is basic but that’s not the problem, they had a weights rack, with no racks. Other than that, they lovely housekeeper with the colorful braids was super sweet!

I reserved a King Whirlpool room prior to a 2 night trip. I arrived somewhat late for the first night check in, close to 11pm, only to find my room had been given away. There were conflicting stories about how it happened and blamed the third party for overbooking the room type. No one apologized or offered service recovery. I was to switch to a whirlpool room the next night but received no further information by check out time so I decided to leave not only based on that, but I had little confidence the next room would be clean and enjoyable. The room I was put in the first night was dirty, worn, and outdated. Several pieces of furniture were damaged and the dresser drawer in the bedroom wouldn’t stay in. Not to mention the huge spider in the shower, the TV remote didn’t work. The rooms are obviously not checked for quality and the manager of this hotel doesn’t know what customer service is as he wouldn’t even come out of the office while the receptionist made excuses and tried to make me pay for the night I didn’t stay after the ridiculous experience. Shameful.

I am extremely disappointed with my trip here on April 1st- 2nd. I was coming 8 hours by train and knew I would be there after check-in. I was told to use the app and that it would be fine, the front desk was alerted. I was not told that I needed to choose a time on the app. I was told "no worries, see you when you get in." I was even asked to choose a floor. When I arrived at 4 I was told my reservation was cancelled and I'd have to make a new one for the next day. I was told there was no note from day staff. The front desk blamed the auditing system and I was told I could wait in the lobby until the manager came in at 8. I wasn't offered even a pillow or blanket. The next morning when I got up I informed the front desk of what happened and was told the second charge would be refunded. I asked for breakfast to be comped. I was given a voucher, but I had to ask. Your entire staff needs to learn the word hospitality and also to communicate with each other. You did your best to ruin my trip.

I've stayed here on several occasions and the staff has always been friendly and courteous. I will stay here again the next time I'm in the Mayfield Heights area for work.

When we got to the hotel the night clerk gave us a keycard and when I asked about breakfast he said I needed to pay a fee. I stated to him that I already payed for a breakfast the next day and he stated that " I did not". So I just assumed I would lose money since I tried to show him the invoice on my phone. When we got to the 1rst room it had a broken lamp with the bulb hanging out and the refrigerator was broke and freezing over. When I notified the night clerk of the room condition he gave me a key to a 2nd room. When I got to the second room the door was already opened and the lights were all on. The bed looked like someone was already sleeping in it and the bathroom was used. By this time it was getting late. I came back for a 3rd time he gave me a card key to a room on another floor. This room appeared to be fine. However, when we were getting cold ( It was winter) the heater/ air conditioner was not working. There was a note on the thermostat apologizing for any inconvenience. We ended up just keeping the room because we were too exhausted to say anything. This was after 11:30PM. Later that morning we had a knock on the door from " housekeeping" at 8:00AM!! She did apologize,however. When we were ready to depart the day clerk asked if we were going to have breakfast? ( Since it was paid for). I explained to her that we didnt have time for breakfast, however, the night clerk insisted I didnt pay for it. The day ckerk was very apolegetic and went to the manager.

Front desk associates were extremely friendly and tried to accommodate me. They had sent my luggage to my room and event left a sweet surprise and note upon my arrival. Mo the assistant manager was extremely professional and gracious- great stay!

Room was clean and staff for the most part was friendly. Apparently, the person checked us in incorrectly which resulted in a new guest walking in my room while my husband was asleep and not dressed. It was very awkward and embarrassing for strangers to walk in the room while he was asleep. Later on that evening I had to get my keys reset. I was never asked for ID which I thought should be a security issue. Then I wake up to a note on the door regarding payment and my room was booked and paid for a week in advance. Very frustrating experience.

Located near an industrial park right by the freeway but it was very quiet. Seemed like a safe area. Very green. Lots of foliage. Which the property offered more information about the area and nearby shopping.

Dining room and bar was closed on a Saturday. Hard to find staff. No EV stations. Water damage thru our the hotel. Not up to Hilton standards. Wouldn't honor my Hilton points because of third party.

Check in was quick and easy . Room was very clean . Bed was okay . Easy to get to and had a restaurant and bar onsite . Staff was friendly and we had no issues .

I booked this one because it showed a hot tub, but the hot tub was broke. They said it has been for years. And they tried to get 3rd party sites too stop advertising it. Also breakfast is not included. Items extra. But it is a nice hotel and rooms were good.

Very clean throughout. Staff was very friendly. And the continental breakfast was a great value.

The staff was amazing. Highly recommend you pay the extra for breakfast. I had an omelette with a side of bacon made fresh and it was extremely worth it. Hotel is clean and the room we booked had plenty of space. We did book this place specifically for the bar/restaurant and hot tub but the bar/restaurant is apparently not open on Sunday's and the hot tub I was told hasn't worked in years which was a bummer. Overall very pleased except for those two things. I would suggest them to remove the hot tub from their options because we did pick this location mainly for that reason
