Great position near a park and a few minutes walk to shops and marina. Each room has a small balcony off a sliding door. All usual motel room features. While were there reception wasn't open. We received an advanced text with room code. Daily room service provided. Just be aware the driveway to the carpark under the rooms is quite steep so take it very slowly if you drive a car. SUV type vehicle would be OK.

This property could benefit from some renovations. Our fridge was very old and broken, and the bathroom was old and the out of stock of conditioner and moisturiser. The wifi also had a weak signal a lot of the time.

It is a basic motel, but has everything you need for a short stay: a nice hostess at the reception, clean room with microwave, tea/coffee facilities, cutlery and fridge. It was nice to have keyless entry to the room, so not to carry keys around. It is a quite location, but motel is on the hill. It is about 5-7 minutes walk downhill to the marina and beach.

Was fine for what it was, the location was AMAZING! The bathroom could use some serious upgrading...there was rust and stuff around but all in all it was fine for a short stay. Bed was comfortable. One downside was that they were short by 2 car park spaces so if you get back late, you might not have a place to park. There is a gravel parking area behind the motel you can use, but that was pretty full too, only fit because I had a small car.

Turned up to check in, no one on front desk, note on door to say call a number. Unable to call that number as our Sims aren't on the Australian network. Luckily another guest passed us and lent their phone so we were able to check in. We had the misfortune of checking into room 8. As soon as you opened the door you could smell the damp. The fridge had gone rusty due to the damp and the air had a strange taste. The dust in the room was at another level. Unable to now contact the main desk, we moved to another hotel without even unpacking. The following day I went back and someone was at reception. To be fair to the lady (Melissa) she arranged a refund with no fuss and was very apologetic. Do not be fulled by the pictures posted on their site, in real life it looks like a hotel certain people would hire it for an hour. We didn't even last that long 😬

She ain’t flash by any means. But the service was fantastic. The room was clean. The pillows and bed comfy. For the price it was great. Head down the stairs towards the waterfront. 8 mins walk to marina!

I did not enjoy waking up to find bugs crawling in my bed. I have NEVER experienced that before. That did not offer any compensation when I told and sent them a video of the creature crawling on the sheets.

Bed was horrible. You could feel every spring digging into your back. A 20 yr old mattress on timber slats. We pre-paid but they demanded a $100 deposit on arrival for potential damages which would be refunded in 5 business days if they approve of the way the room was left. I was amazed. I travel for work and have never experienced this before. Sometimes $1. Rude staff and prehistoric amenities. Don't do it... spend the extra $20 per night to go somewhere much nicer

Rooms are desperately small. But.... it is a very short walk into the marina and town and this redeems it. Outside areas need a good clean and pool furniture needs replacing urgently.

Basic motel room with everything you need for a night or two. Room very small for 3 especially if you have alot of luggage. We were travelling for a month. However beds were comfortable. Shower good. Could do with a bit of a deep clean as there were high cobwebs on the corners and the patio doors and patio was very grubby.

Not really sure how other reviewers could rate rhis property so high. The reception is non existent - a phone number is provided to call to gain access to the rooms. We did not have a phone plan and had to rely on another guest. This guest was provided with the combination to our room; not very safe. Our room was ground floor, made of brick, and was musty, moldy and the carpet filthy. The internet was very poor quality and unreliable. This may be a result of the brick walls. Overall, very unsatisfied.

It was great being across the road from the beach. The room was very small & you wouldn't want to stay in it for more than I1 night. There was no heating.

A relaxing and enjoyable three days. Wayne and Kim could not have been more helpful in making our stay so enjoyable. The whole complex was clean and tidy. Great value for money.

In 7 weeks of travel, it is by far the worst motel we have staid in. The reception was cold and unfriendly. The room was smelly and hot as the AC wasn’t working. There was a bug on my bed and we were scare of walking barefoot. There was a guess that started screeming in the late evening, he was slamming doors and making a racquet for an hour. The staff didn’t do anything. Again, by far the worst motel/hotel out of around 40 motels/hotels. Avoid this location!!!!!

We stayed 2 nights motel is very conveniently located in heart of Nelson Bay, 1 minute drive to Golf Course, motel clean and tidy had everything we needed, little dated but for the price perfect......can't fault it will be back for another trip..would recommend to those who are looking for convenient location.

It is an older Motel, it was clean and suited us for a few nights stay....handy to have the toaster and microwave....a easy walk down to the water and a nice park to sit in and take in the sea views.
