The elevator was not working, which was very inconvenient

Elevators did did not work for the 3 day's, Hot water machine for tea needs repair Bath tub water drains extremely slow Furniture is old , chip, peeling Noisy the first night till 3am There was Marijuana smell in the hall way

This hotel stay was very disappointing/below standards for the Holiday Inn Express. At check-in; unfriendly clerk, carts all had wheels falling off/not working, hallways were dirty, there was a terrible loud rattling noise coming from above our room (assume the roof) all night - never ended until 7:00 AM (we were too tired to go ask for a new room). No coffee in the am(they were out of filters!!!!), no milk for cereal, no pancake machine. Cinnamon roles half frozen or/and dried out -overcooked. Computer/printer for customers didn't work. Unfriendly hotel manager. I would not recommend.

The elevator didn't work, and there were kids running up and down the hall. Otherwise, no problems.

There was damage behind toilet. Shower curtain rod was coming loose and wouldn't hold curtain. Pool was extremely dirty, cloudy and leaves on bottom. There were 4 of us in room yet every day they would leave 3 clean towels and 1 wash cloth. When we called for more they said we had to come downstairs to get them.

We’re usually okay with it stay here however this time around it wasn’t giving top tier like it used to. When we checked in we were told the elevator hadn’t been working for a week and that it was down. We still checked in because we were tired from driving 12 hrs and then was placed on the 4th floor with children and an elder with a hip replacement only to get to our room and it was patched up. It’s like they just stopped caring altogether.

The room was ok a/c would only cool it to 72’ there was no ice machines on 2nd 3rd and 4th floors and no vending machines either. Pool was drained and out of service. The pictures online appeared to be way better than it really is.

This was the worst stay ever 😩 The hotel was really worn down and you could smell the mold. The breakfast was horrible the orange juice and apple juice was rancid. The second morning there wasnt any coffee; by the afternoon the hotel did not have any running water for 4 hours and the wjole hotel smelled of raw sewage. I was physically sick 😫 This hotel needs to be demolished.

We only stayed for one night but it was gross and uncomfortable. There’s no way the blankets and sheets where replaced with clean ones as there were red-ish Orange looking stains on the sheets and pillows. Like Cheetos maybe. Really hoping it was Cheetos. Luckily we were traveling and had our own pillows and blankets in the car. We were only there one night and didn’t make a thing of it because we were just tired from traveling and did have our linens so it was fine to just let that go for the night. But if we had to stay more than the one night I would have just went to a different hotel all together. So apart from the “Cheeto” stains on the sheets and blankets there were long thick black hairs all over the room. Bathroom beds chair. Eww. They didn’t even try to clean that room. They made the bed and took the trash out. That’s about it. I will never stop there again

Arrived at 2:35 and was told we had to come back at 3pm to check in because room wasn’t clean yet. Hallway reeked of marijuana and our room smelled of urine. Shower walls had mold and a child jumped on/off upstairs all day and early the next morning.

The property was very clean.

The bathroom was filthy! The shower was leaking, and the toilet wasn’t flushing correctly. The curtain rod was ripped, preventing one from drawing the curtains. Basic supplies like toilet paper and towels were scarce.

It was crap. Saw a roach crawling on bathroom wall. Their breakfast area was messy cabinets all broken had orange containers being handled by all guest instead of having a dispenser. Elevator was always dirty. No english speaking people and last time I checked this was America

We arrived at 1am and we were exhausted we all went straight to bed and slept. We woke up and noticed the bed the boys were in sheets had a big stain on it appeared to be body fluid.

Our room air conditioning did not get cold at all stay hot in the room all night.. water was not as hot as it should have been..

Staff was really nice, room size is great.

The Hotel staff was friendly, good location for my stay. However, the furniture was outdated and cheap, the desk chair was very uncomfortable, I couldn't use it. The chase lounge was way too low for my comfort. The mattress was too soft and lumpy. It was like sleeping on an overinflated air mattress. We complained about slow draining sink, no one came to look at it. The air conditioning in the room did not work it was way too warm. no vent in the bathroom. we complained no compensation was giving. We did not get a chance to experience the breakfast because of early morning appointments.

The water in the shower was only lukewarm, it was like the handle was blocked to turn it up past halfway and made for a very unpleasant experience.

The room was very clean but the bed was not comfortable. Pillows rough and flat. Thermostat did not seem to be working; outside temp was in the 30’s. Curtains did not close so heard interstate roar all night. Bathroom very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The TV in our room did not work. The front desk offered to move us to another room but we were tired from a long drive and had already unpacked.

Clean/spacious room

The lock on my door would not lock unless you pulled up hard on the handle. Most small framed people would not of been able to get the door to latch. I showed the staff and they told me they had a ticket in to fix the door but obviously are still renting the room out. They did not tell me there was an issue with the door before I checked into my room. Glad I noticed as I was going out to eat dinner when I did notice the door did not latch when I closed it

The staff at this hotel is completely unprofessional, they do not communicate well and instead communicate through threatening, intimidation, and finally by misleading. The hotel staff are not on the same page concerning the late check-out process. I was charged for a full day of a stay because we stayed until 12:30pm (normal checkout is 11am) after being told that it was free. I requested a manager through corporate and the staff onsite; my request was ignored. I would not recommend this hotel nor the chain.

Had to quickly find a hotel. Booked in advance at another location only to arrive and find it was too far away from the location of my venue. Wanted to be near Stonecrest Mall, but didn\'t see those hotels online when I initially searched. Anyway, a link was sent to me and I booked with another online service. Called the hotel and was told upfront that the elevator was not working. I asked how many stairs there were and the answer given gave me the impression that there were few stairs. So I booked a reservation. Arrived at the hotel. They only had available rooms on the 3rd & 4th floors. Fortunately, I was on the 3rd floor, which entailed 40 steps. Btm line? 4 room changes later, I was on my way to sleep. Popcorn outside & inside 1st room. Unpacked & put on pjs.. thinking I could just use a hotel vacuum /broom and dust pan, but staff was not able to locate one; 2nd room, AC not cooling at 50 degrees when I entered the room plus AC was making clanging noises; 3rd room, toilet unflushed & tissue-filled; back to 1st room per front desk. She vacuumed the inside and I vacuumed the entry way. No one wants to enter a hotel room thinking it may not have been cleaned. My cousin previously told me to cancel and stay with her; however, I was mentally tired; needed time alone to reset. Had a few back door entrance/steps safety concerns; slept and showered comfortably. I CHOSE positive thoughts over complaining. Basic needs were met. I asked for a discount; was told "No". Breakfast fine.

I was disappointed with my recent hotel stay due to several issues. First, the elevator was out of service, which was inconvenient and frustrating, especially when carrying luggage up 4 flights of stairs. Additionally, I found the staff to be unprofessional and rude, which only added to my dissatisfaction. So much so that a complaint was filed with Guest Services. Their lack of courtesy, customer service, and assistance made my experience less enjoyable, and I expected a much higher standard of service.

Stayed 1/5/24 and 1/6/23. I rated 3 stars for the simple fact I am waiting on my money to go back to my account. (should not have to wait on my money. The hotel was paid instantly so my credit should be instantly). I paid at the hotel and was told by Nine they would hold an additional $50 on my debit card but would be credited back after check-out. Which was fine with me. However, I was charged another $116 and this charge was not mentioned at check in and I did not authorize it nor did I order room service. I called Saturday night to find out why my card was ran and was told that was a mistake. The lady told me she would make sure I didn’t get charged again. At check out, the guy at the desk saw the charge and also said he didn’t know why it was charged and explained that I will be credited back the additional charges. I am still waiting for my money. I have automatic payments set up and unfortunately this has interfered with my balances. In total I was charged($232.72 room total $50 incidental fee and just a random $116.36) $399 for two nights. As far as the condition of the hotel: The hotel room was clean, dated but clean.

Incredibly nice staff. Very clean facilities. Very very comfortable room. Close to shopping, and downtown Atlanta. Great location. The gym was usable, clean and quiet. My only issue was housekeeping didn’t come consistently and breakfast sometimes started late. I will definitely be coming back to stay.

We had 3 separate room reservations confirmed through Expedia for 8 family members travelling together. While enroute lunchtime the day of arrival, we received text notifications from Expedia that there was an urgent message from the hotel. The messages were all the same, something very unclear in its intent, stating something about not accepting funds from outside their group. I called the hotel from my cell phoneand was answered with," please hold". After waiting 15 minutes on hold(I was just a passenger with nothing more important to do), I finally hung up and called again. Repeat scenario except this time I waited 30 minutes on hold. Since I was unab[le to speak with anyone at the property, I called Expedia customer service. The agent there could find no problems with my reservation, so she offered to contact the hotel for me. They would not even answer the phone for her! When we arrived, they no longer had the room selections available. Two of us are disabled, and we really needed the mobility accessible room we reserved. The woman at reception was not rude or unkind, but she did not really make us feel welcome. After hearing our story, she tried to shift the blame to our third party booking agent; but with over 20 years of really good experiences with Expedia, we weren't accepting that excuse. She did give us 3 double suites at a rate which was not totally unreasonable. Not any more room for this review. Holiday Inn Express-NEVER AGAIN!

The front desk clerks were extremely helpful and nice. The housekeeping staff and staff that assisted with breakfast were extremely rude. We had to travel to the first floor from the fourth floor to get ice. My bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way neither would my room door.

WAS IN TOWN FOR A FUNERAL … THEY OFFERED ME A BEREAVEMENT RATE… THE LADY THAT HELPED ME THIS MORNING ON THE PHONE WAS WONDERFUL. I CANT REMEMBER HER NAME BUT KUDOS TO HER FOR HER CUSTOMER SERVICE..

The property and staff itself were good. 2 very friendly ladies the day of check in. However the day of check out I went outside to find my vehicle as well as several others had been broken into, with several windows busted out. Upon going into the front lobby to inquire about the cameras that are around the building one worker stated this happened almost every night there. They didn’t seem phased that several vehicles on their property (which they claimed to be public property) were damaged, the one worker actually seemed like we were annoying her by being upset. I feel if this is a recurring thing they can at the very least inform their guest. After waiting for 2 hrs for the police to arrive, the officer says “yea it happens every night here but they won’t let us patrol the lot at night like the other hotels”. So they don’t let police patrol their “public” parking lot, and clearly don’t care about vehicles being vandalized there.

How disappointing. We had our vehicle broken into. By the time we checked out of the hotel, no one had shared that our vehicle windows had been busted out by a gang searching for guns in random vehicles around the area. We were informed by a groundskeeper that some cars had their windows busted out and mine was one of them. We spoke with an Officer with Dekalb County Sheriffs Office who had also not reached out to any guests regarding our property. He poorly explained his process and that he completed the reports and gave me a card to get a copy of the police report. When speaking to the slovenly behemoth of a general manager who fancy’s herself a lady, she lazily sat on top of the file cabinets literally twiddling her thumbs and curtly answered each question asked. When asked about camera footage she said she hadn’t seen it yet. At this point it is Noon and we know the vehicles were broken into between 2:00 AM and 5:00AM and that there was a series of dodge chargers filled with thugs. She did not offer any concession not even an apology. I previously stayed at this hotel the week before and my bag with my AirPods went missing and she was of no help. I literally checked out of the hotel and realized I left my bag. I could clearly see it was still in the room. She refused to do a walkthrough, put me on hold did not comeback to the phone. She argued me down about her housekeeper not stealing it,who said that? She said it was never returned. will never stay with Holiday Inn

Property was nice and was close to stores for food & shopping

This was a great quiet place to enjoy some new fresh air. The trail alongside the hotel was very nice to walk on and the breakfast was good. Definitely recommend.

This property was nice clean but there was a car break in while we were there. Sure these things happen however the hotel should have some type of security to rove the parking lot or some lighting to deter this from happening. Thankfully it wasn’t my car that was targeted but glass on the ground was everywhere. I would stay again because this could be a random car theft however I fear for the safety of my vehicle.

It was an amazing day! Considering the reasons why we were staying there, the facility made us very comfortable and very pleased and content with everything happening around us. It was convenient through the highway, and it was close to my family and a shopping mall with the food court. Although the mall is somewhat dead, the rest of everything else is amazing because there are also amazing fake parts in walking. Will definitely stay again.

I like that it was very convenient to shopping (Mall) lots of restaurants close by. I didn't like that it be was not that easy to find - the last hotel in the back of a cluster of hotels. Wasn't very visible. The hotel staff were very friendly especially the Jamaican supervisor over the room service staff. Breakfast wasn't bad, typical hotel breakfast. Didn't like the fact that they didn't have bottled water to give us at the front desk as some hotels do as a courtesy. The room was clean & the bed comfortable. Even the pillows were comfortable. Overall, it was a pleasant stay & I'd definitely stay there again.

Motel is in a good location. For the most part kept up well but for example shower curtain rod needs to be remounted. It looks like maids pull down to detach and thus curtain only hangs on half of it. Breakfast was good except pancake maker was broken which kids love and for some reason they only had spoons for breakfast. Manager should have thought outside the box and driven the two miles to walmart and picked up forks and knives rarher than just leaving employees to say we are waiting on a truck.

It was dirty! The breakfast was half way cooked along with no pancakes machines working for the first 2 days. Our AC wasnt working in our room come to find out we werent the only ones. Then the elevator wasnt working. We had dirty sheets on top of that so they changed our room. Lastly I was doubled charged for the room and im still waiting for my refund! Awful experience!!!!

When I checked in, I found out that the pool was not available. The toilet was running in the bathroom. They had no plates at breakfast. They had to send a staff to Walmart to get plates. No coffee downstairs, and the Keurig in my room was not working and when I called they said someone was coming to look at it. When I checked out at 10am, no one had come. I was over it already.

I have stayed at this hotel for years as a place to rest for a 9 hour drive. When we arrived hours after check in room was not ready, the bed was not made. Nothing was offered as an apology. For breakfast there was only cranberry juice , with the exception of coffee) as an option, no cinnamon buns ( always my favorite) no milk, only fat free syrup for pancakes , one flavor yogurt. The hostess kept refilling the cereal and no milk!sadly after over 9 years of visiting and recommending this will be my last time :-(

We didnt have any extra toilet paper in the room so we ran out. Luckily we didnt need any more. We didnt have any rags in the room for us to shower with so we used hand towels. I booked this hotel because i like holiday inn express breakfast but when we got down at 645am they hadnt started yet. They were suppose to start at 630. I overheard the front desk clerk say that the people showed up late and were working on the breakfast. We waited til 7am and left because we needed to get on the road to get home.

I always book where breakfast is included. The breakfast on both days was disappointing. The first day there was no eggs. The next day the eggs were terrible.
