Reminded me of Mom & Pop motel ☺️ all rooms opened to the parking lot and provided an actual key to our room. Staff very pleasant, room nice, fairly small but very fine. Frig, MW, ice at office, launfry available. Only needed room one night there in Brunswick. Plenty of free parking. Easy to find.

Older motel and slightly outdated rooms but the room was spacious and clean. Check-in and out was quick and easy, friendly staff. Free continental breakfast, nothing fancy but had cereal, bread, english muffins coffee and orange juice. free Wi-FI - okay for web searching and emails however I had trouble streaming as it would stop occassionally and I had to restart the video. Plenty of free parking and many restaurants nearby.

Many great things on/in this property including the man checking me in and the huge parking lot with everything pretty quiet. Also saw 1 room for laundry although it only had 2 washers and 2 dryers - coin operated. 1-2 vending machines outside. Everything appeared to be very clean and everything worked well except the Wifi. Here are the few cons: Wifi in the room barely crosses 3 on the download and barely crosses 2 on the upload so streaming is out unless you go sit in your car near the office. Internet worked fine in the room but at times, buffered. Another con is the bathtub, dresser, bedspread etc are very old. All in all, a good place for the price! Could use updating and a MUCH better wifi booster. Amato's down the street may be a 6-7 on a Maine Italian scale but growing up near New Haven, they, like every other pizza joint in Maine is horrible for pizza but adequate for everything else. There is also a Subway and McDonalds and I think I saw a sports bar tucked away in the back somewhere. Anyway, Relax Inn is a solid 4 Stars.

The staff at the desk was very nice. The room was clean, however very outdated. Traffic in front of the Inn was extremely busy so expect only to make a right turn when trying to leave.

Was a nice place to stay. It is an older motel probably built in the 1950s. Clean, Easy parking, and easy to get to Brunswick, Freeport, and Portland. Rooms are basic and the nights over the years I've stayed there it is quiet. A good place if you need a place to sleep and a "no frills" kind of motel. Rates are reasonable and the staff was friendly.

We liked the convenient location and abundant parking. No complementary breakfast. The toilet was not secured to the floor and rocked forward. There was a child running around in the room above us for quite some time.

I was attending an educational seminar and was looking for a safe, clean hotel for the night. I found the room nicer than expected. It was clean, large, with a comfortable mattress, refrigerator, microwave, iron, hairdryer, nice TV, and noisy AC. Breakfast was provided, but as there was little offered that was gluten free, I grabbed a banana and left. My only complaints were the lack of a way to charge my car up and the AC being especially noisy. I would also have like a better breakfast. There isn't a pool or gym, but I wouldn't have had time anyway.

Overall not a bad place. The rooms have a somewhat unpleasant smell - I believe largely due to the fact that the carpets are desperately in need of cleaning or replacing. I might try elsewhere next time, but in a pinch, I could stay there again.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Shower had great pressure. What more can you ask for? Staff were very nice. Breakfast was probably the low point. Coffee was ok but the food options not so great. No big deal. Room was not expensive so going out for breakfast was no big deal. Various good options in the area. We stayed for a week and would definitely stay here again if we return.

The lobby had a oppressive smell of curry. The rooms had an odd spice smell. It was pretty clean and quiet aside from the guests with kids. The rooms looked pretty old and could use a refresh. Its been a long time since I stayed at a motel with a actual key rather than a key card.

This motel was completely filthy, moldy, and reeked of cigarette smoke. I left immediately upon seeing the room. They declined to provide me a refund despite the fact that I have three small children who I would never expose to those unhealthy conditions.

The room was very nice and very clean. The bathroom was spotless. The bedding was freshly made as well as the carpet was new. This is a wonderful place to stay. Its quiet and the staff are very nice. The continental breakfast was really good. The food was fresh and a great selection, too. I'd stay here again. This is the cleanest place I have ever stayed at.

The room was spacious, but the bedding was older and there was a huge stain on the carpet by the door as well as other stains on the floor. Walls are thin and we were awakened at 5:30 by our upstairs neighbors walking around and speaking loudly. Could not recommend this property.

The room was average and clean. I think having one queen size bed would be better than 2 double beds. The shower head leaked and sprayed on the wall behind it. The air conditioner made a high squeeky noise that was hard on the nerves after a while. The bathroom exhaust fan also made a low growling noise after it was on for a minute. Other than that, it was safe and easy to get to right on Route 1.

WiFi barely worked. Breakfast was mostly packaged things and cereal. But the room was very clean, fridge was actually big enough for sodas with a working tiny freezer section, and having windows that can be opened is wonderful to have when the weather is nice.

I was told by the gentleman who worked there that there was no continental breakfast when I had asked what time breakfast was during check in when in fact there is. There is no staff available after 9pm and a lot of times there wasn't anyone to assist during the day either. We were unable to get to the Laundry area or to even get ice. Staff was very rude- on their personal cell while waiting on customers. We was told to hold on and didn't make any effort to accomodate our needs. We asked to extend our stay a night and was told they were booked. Then asked for a Lil extra time to check out and was rudely told no as well.

The office was locked at 4 p.m. with no one around. I had to phone them (10 rings to pick up). The person on the other end was relatively uninterested and it took about 5 minutes waiting while she screamed at someone to go open up. One outlet (the one with the coffee maker and lamp with USB chargers). Phone did not work. All in all, it was the cheapest motel room and livable. If you want the least expensive while being relatively safe, this is fine.

This is my go to hotel any time I'm up in the Brunswick area -- the rooms, while a basic room, are clean, the bed is comfortable, the staff is always very friendly. They have a little refrigerator and microwave in each room as well as a continental breakfast. For the price, it is one of the best deals I've found!

Not the worst choice for a budget motel in the area, but not a good one either. Rooms are large but dated and stuffy. Breakfast is limited and served in a small very hot room. Staff is indifferent at best, as exemplified by being more amused than concerned when they lost the 2nd day of my reservation. This was resolved poorly. It is a cute motel in a decent location, but you are taking a chance staying there.

We chose this motel because the price was reasonable for a college family weekend. Other motels were overpriced. It was adequate for a two-night stay—bed comfortable enough and older bathroom clean. I wish the breakfast had included something with protein, as all offerings were high-carb and/or sweet. One criticism is that all fixtures were very high—for very tall people.

IT WAS GOOD. I WOULD PREFERED TO HAVE MORE PILLOWS AND A SECOND SET OF TOWELS FOR WE BOOKED FOR 4 PEOPLE. THOUGH WHEN WE ASKED THEY CAME PROMPTLY AT OUR DOOR AND ASKED IF WE NEEDED ANYTHING MORE. THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS GREAT AND GOT US STARTED

As expected. Building is old although furniture was nice enough. A few things could have been cleaner. Nothing deal breaking for me but enough to drop it to 4 stars. Continental breakfast wasn't great but it's nice to have that option. Would stay again if price was right. For a cheaper hotel in the area, I think it was a good value.

Our family totally enjoyed our 2 night stay. The room was clean, it was quiet, and we even slept with the window open instead of the A/C running. The only thing that could be improved on would be the addition of donuts at breakfast.
