The Lodge Hotel and Banquets

The hotel is under renovations. The room was outdated and doors/furniture worn. No bugs and linings were clean. Staff was friendly. Pool was super cold so we couldn’t swim which was disappointing. No breakfast but it was inexpensive and was fine for the one night we stayed.

There weren’t any bugs but it was definitely more motel than hotel. Asked for some extra pillows and blankets and was told no.pool was very dirty and the rope that separated the deep end to the shallow end isn’t in the correct spot

They say you get what you pay for. It was inexpensive. This place was gross and run down. I asked for a couple extra pillows and they said they don’t have any extras. If I could have gotten a refund and gone somewhere else I would have. There were people just lingering around outside and someone outside our room. The pool water was murky and the hot tub was dirty. Will never stay there again.

I would've assumed we could use the pool although it was November and the pool was indoors but it was filthy and disgusting also our room wasn't the best. The sheets were disgusting and so was the bathroom. The woman at the front desk was very rude I guess i startled her when i came down to get some water but i spoke i said "hey, I'm coming up behind you didn't want to startle you" and continued to get my water she didn't say anything and went straight to the counter i went outside to enjoy the air and then came back in and asked if she'd seen my boyfriend that came out before me because he'd left and i didn't see him she shook her head no and countied to ask for my room number considering my boyfriend booked the room i wasn't too sure but remembered it was 312 she didn't say anything ...... but a white couple came down and said we're finishing up our laundry and then we'll check out she didn't say anything to them either so i don't feel too bad lol but she also didn't ask them their room number. After a while i saw my boyfriend and let the woman know i was leaving ..... again she didn't say anything lol but its seeming like morning staff is more rude the the night shift. I can only imagine if she was working when me and my boyfriend checking in at 12:00am lol. Average stay for a night of traveling and road trips.

Wish we had known that the property was under renovation and that the elevator would be down to the fourth floor. We had to climb the stairs with all our stuff on the first day. The manager did help us though. All in all it was dusty and dirty and being remodeled.

The place is completely acceptable. The room was clean and comfortable, the pool is nice, hot tub was hot, and the workers were friendly and helpful. The hotel is older and being renovated. It is a good value and would stay there again. There are a lot of bad reviews that made me nervous but all of that nervousness was quickly over upon arrival and check in. I know many people who I consider to be hotel snobs who would not like this place but if you are looking for a clean room with a nice pool, where you aren't going to spend a ton then this place is great.

Have you ever tried to cover up the smell of a skunk sprayed dog? This room had been heavily smoked in...like there are cigarette burns all over the bathroom tub (how do you leave burns on a bathtub?). They tried to mask it, but there was no way to cover it up. The hotel is old, mildewy on the outside, the pool is so chlorinated you can't see the bottom, and there are very few ammenities, if any. The two elevators are poorly placed and I'm pretty sure that they have not been inspected in a long time. Several million dollars in renovations would really go a long way for this property but until then, it is going to struggle to bring the clientele that I am sure they are hoping to attract. On the positive side, it is a short Uber to the amphitheater, there are breakfast options very close and the staff that checked me in and out were very nice.

The staff was friendly! It smelled very clean, the beds were comfy, and there was a lot close by. The only thing I’d say that could improve is the heat in the hot tub - it wasn’t hot at all. Otherwise, it was great!

They have bed bugs!! Don't go here. We had to pack up our family of 6 at 11:00 at night and stay at a different hotel because I found bed bugs in our bed. Checked the kids room we rented and they had bugs too.

Then the second room was absolutely filthy with stains and rust in the shower. We found mold behind the ice machine and no one could somehow let us know the WiFi password so we had to go with no WiFi.

The service was very friendly and I didn’t care that the facilities all need updated, but the rooms were terribly dirty, trash under beds and even visible, dirty baseboards and light fixtures and uncomfortable old mattresses with thin pillows

Would like to see it when it’s finished with the current refurbishment but the place is currently quite dated and tired. Cleanliness was definitely lacking. We found candy and items under the bed from a previous guest.

Absolutely trash hotel tv didnt work the color was so faded the speakers were blown the carpet was gross it reaked of smoke and thats not even the worst part after laying there for about 30 min my mom was bit by a bed bug she killed it and took it down to the reception desk and we requested a refund in which we were denied! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL ABSOLUTE WORST IVE EVER BEEN TOO IF I COULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS I WOULD

We checked into two rooms and they were FILTHY. Trash on floors and beside beds. The bathrooms were not cleaned at all and toothpaste still on sinks. Toilets had urine on them and dirt EVERYWHERE. Mirrors had stuff dripping off them. We called front desk and housekeeping came. They used ONE towel to “reclean” everywhere in both rooms. So they used the towel on toilets then cleaned sinks and wiped everything down.

Check in went smooth, I had already paid and just had to get the room key. There is where it went down hill. The room was not clean. There was dirty socks ( not ours) under one bed and cheddar popcorn in the other. There was only 1 towel, hand towel and wash cloth for two people. Next day after returning the had removed previous mentioned item and made bed did not clean bathroom or take out trash.

It was a nice hotel but there was alot of noise all hours of the night between kids running the halls to someone being locked out of there room and trying to kick the door in next door

Reservation and check in were easy enough, and cheaper then originally posted online. Couldnt use the shower in our room because the water trapped uner it has eroded the flooring under it. Long story short we were not comfortable using the shower becuase the flooring was liquid. You could feel, hear and see the nasty water under it. You can tell they are trying to remodel, but maybe should close until they finish. Pool had a busted dirty diaper by it, rused out rails, and no heater in the pool. Yoi get what you pay for ya know

This was me & my boyfriend's first time staying here, its an old building that definitely looks like it has seen better more lively days but our room on the third floor was clean and perfect size. Its very quiet and almst seems like the place could be haunted but overall i really like this place, its definitely affordable as well with a gas station and several restaurants literally next door that are very walkable

This looks like it could be a much better motel but needs work to upgrade it. Nice location and design. Staff seems decent.

Nice people, comfortable rooms

When I made my reservation somehow I ended up for the weekend that was a week out still when I needed it for that very weekend. The guy working the front desk, Kea I believe, was an absolute God send getting things straightened out with expedia (good luck getting hold of a person when it's after midnight!!!) Our only "complaint" would be that we made it a point to get extra towels upon check-in because we had two children joining us for the second night. While out picking the kids up, despite all our belongings still being the room and our unused extra towels still being neatly folded and up out of the way, housekeeping came in and remade the room while taking ALL the towels so we had to go back down to request even more towels. There was no "do not disturb" signs available and we thought by leaving the room after 1:00 we were safe from having anyone come into our room. None of our personal stuff was missing that we could tell, we just didn't appreciate having to waste time to go back for more towels, again when that was something we had already taken care of. But, again, the front desk people have ALWAYS been most pleasant to deal with and I sooooooooooo appreciate the guy that helped with my reservation blunder!!!!

Staff member at time of Check-in was AWESOME, and absolutely personable !! Beyond accommodated request and simply sincere. Property clearly under a transition, and area generally clean. Welcoming lobby and great pool / area inside Courtyard.

We enjoyed our stay overall! The outdoors will make u think twice but you have to go inside in order to see the changes that’s been made by new owners! The inside is nice! One of the things thats limited is vending machines. It’s only one as well as no dining like complimentary breakfast. Overall the new owners have done a great job fixing the problems it once faced!!

Convenient location, needs thorough cleaning of room, amenities closed, noisy guest, staff was pleasant, check in/out easy. Price and conditions seem to match what’s offered at other hotels.
