It is located far enough out of the center of Melbourne that you do not have the issues of getting around, however is close enough to access what you need within a couple of minutes' drive. Clean and quiet. Nothing fancy, but also great for the price. I love the 24 hour reception, the parking area was underground and spacious (but cost extra), and the room was neat and tidy. Everything worked as expected, except that there was a price list for the mini bar on the counter in the room, but the fridge was empty and there was no sign of snacks :( Will stay here again.

Checked in late and staff were great about ensuring we got the food and drink we wanted. Food is a bit xc for what it is (pub grub) but to be able to do takeaway from the bar area to our room was terrific. Comfy bed and did not hear any neighbours all night. Overslept and staff gave us an extra hour checkout. Great stay as always and we’ll be back!

Comfortable bed, but found a used fork next to the bedside table - not sure how thorough the rooms are cleaned. I was told at check out that I would get my deposit back minus parking charges. I was charged the full deposit and when I called the hotel for it to be corrected, was put on hold for more than 10 minutes before I decided to hang up. Not returning to this hotel and will be looking at options to have my deposit correctly refunded.

After check in, our small room fridge wasn't sealing properly. They got that fixed, but all the 4 nights, the temperature wasn't right. Had to turn right up. White curtains had small black mould like marks. Overall, it was a good stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, but physically, maybe some work.

To say our stay was unpleasant is an understatement. Our bathroom smelt like urine, our shower had big black hairs in it like it hadn’t been cleaned, there was a speck of blood on the bathroom floor and blood smeared down the bathroom wall under the sink. We advised reception who said they’d sort it while we were out for tea. Upon return we were told it had been cleaned and air freshener used. We went back to our room to still find the hair in the shower, blood on the floor and no air freshener smell. We again advised reception who changed our room to a down graded room. Our room had a queen bed and a single and we got changed to a queen room with a fold out kids bed. We told reception we were not moving to that room and they said they’d change our room to another the following day. To which did not happen and we were not contacted to do so. Pathetic efforts on all involved.

No heating in the rooms. Arrives after flight from UK and had to move room twice. In the end is was given a small portable heater to use for the week. Not ideal given it was 4 degrees overnight. The manager gave me two free drinks at the bar as a goodwill gesture.

A/c stopped heating over nights, next day changed three different rooms before they found a heating system that worked. This ruined my short stay with my plans. I got a free breakfast and a one hour extended check out. Having changed to a second room would of been ok,but four rooms is unexpectable and discussing. I have asked for a full refund but has fallen to death ears. Dont stay here!

Ceiling started leaking in the bathroom so had to move to another room. Rooms were small and not much wardrobe and fridge space. Parking was not included so cost is $100. Pretty average for the area.

Terrible service. Our room did not have adequate bedding for our booking. The staff member, I believe would have been aware of this upon check in, as the staff member was familiar with the room configuration, and read details of our booking during check in. When I returned to the front desk, the staff member offered my multiple 'reason' as to why, none of which were due to the staff member's error. I was told a another bed would be made uo in our room. Then I received a call to the room that we would have to come back to reception to pick up another room key to another room. Later that evening I needed to go back to reception looking for water, there wasn't any in the fridge (or anything else) I was required to purchase the water. On check out, I was stuck at parking gate unable to exit parking, despite having a card. When the gate was finally lifted, I was unable to check out and return card as there was no one at the desk, and the front entrance was locked despite bing told the night before that the hotel has someone on the around the clock.

Checkin, had to say no 3 times to not signing up to Accors Membership. One of our keys not working. Charged $100 and not like other hotels, $100 held. Was told the Restaurant wasn't open because of Annual Leave?? Was informed of the Go to menu of which wasn't available in the room to order from. Curtains torn at the top. Shabby. Debris along the corridor on the floor to our room. Not a great first impression. Came downstairs to inform front desk of the torn curtain and not to blame us or charge us. Enquired about breakfast $25 for a full buffet. Made a booking for the two of us. Check-out. Came down and check out and to cancel breakfast. Was told we had been charged for breakfast and would not receive a refund!! OUTRAGEOUS!! The night manager said he had to wait for the day manager. I waited whilst he spoke in their native tongue with another female employee whilst she stared at me. Day manager arrived dishevelled and yawning. She started to tell me what normally happens. I cut her off and told her what normally happens in other hotels around the world is that they don't charge their guests on arrival they hold a deposit and they don't charge their guests for a breakfast they were cancelling and didn't have. I told them the reason why we were there because our air-conditioning was broken at home. Then the refund was processed only because she didn't hear me properly and thought I'd said the room's air-conditioning wasn't working. I was ropable.

Entire process was smooth/efficient/and enjoyable. The Front of House staff in particular were efficient, friendly and most pleasant to deal with. Altogether we are very satisfied and will use that hotel again.

I have stayed here twice and both times were terrible. Rude staff who dont want to help and would rather talk amougst themselfs. Just a terrible experience and is not worth the money. Breakfast finishes at 10am too. Who does that? They just take your money and you dont recieve much back.

From checking in to checking out, the experience was fantastic. Also, staff’s care and kindness was impressive. As a matter of fact, after checking out, we noticed that our small daughter’s toy was missing and the hotel staff searched and found kindly and arranged delivery home, which is really cared. I highly recommend this accommodation.

I booked a night here last minute with tired kids in tow and was so happy we accidentally found this place. Staff made everything really easy, it was very clean. We had dinner and breakfast here and the food was very good!
