Excellent two bedroom apartment with a lovely view of the ocean. (Definitely glad we paid a little extra for a sea view room). Good location, easy walk to beaches, swimming spots and cafes/shops. Decent kitchen, nice sized rooms and plenty of space in the cupboards for us to unpack our belongings. The BBQ area was well equipped and the pool area was nice and private. Sharon was absolutely terrific, ensuring we had everything we needed for a late check-in and checking up on us to see if we needed anything extra when the roads out of town closed due to flooding. We would definitely stay again and more than happy to recommend.

Was a great stay, you wont be disappointed. Close to everything, just a walk or scooter ride away. Parking was included and ample. We got what we paid for. Mini golf and table tennis were a nice suprise!

Room was very nice. Check in was very poor. Reception not open was not sent a check in code, used after hours phone was told I had no booking, read out my email confirmation was told they didn’t know. Lucky a person then came to my aid. Spa was not hot, was advertised as hot outdoor spa. Only a few channels on tv. The unit was very nice and spacious though

We got the top level ocean view 2 bedroom apartment. The view was awesome. Overall the stay was very comfortable although the property is aging. Close walk to beach. There were only a few things that we noted. The main bedroom was spacious. The bed comfortable. The TV was small that we couldn’t read the guide from the bed and when we did watch, it had to be in the dark with all the curtains drawn. The ensuite was also spacious and amazing, except there must have been a glass screen originally(?) as we only had a shower curtain which did nothing. Every time we had a shower, water would end up all over the floor. We had to use our towels to mops up the water as there was no mop. Ended up using that bathroom in emergencies, which was a shame as it also had the better showed head. The main bathroom although small and squishy, was functional. The second bedroom did not have air con, only a fan. Which is fine, but the speed on the fan did not change much. The apartment looked clean, but there was an overwhelming smell of cheap room deodoriser on arrival. My husband found stains in the toilet although it had the sash of ‘hygienically cleaned’ placed over toilet seat. The oven had sticky residue on on of the al-foil liners on tray. The pool is small, and also aging. Ended up having to leave early after both my boys got sick after their swim.

The pool and spa heater was broken. The pool & spa for our kids was the main reason for the stay. No working exhaust fan in the bathroom. The black shower curtain made it too dark in the shower.

Great location, opposite the beach, near some good beachside playgrounds, easy to walk to a few great restaurants, large unit (we were in a 3 bedroom), friendly check-in and short drive to the Turtle Experience Centre. We would have liked air con in all the rooms rather than just the master and lounge. The twin beds that join together in the second room was less comfortable. The putt putt was a bit ordinary but still would be fun for really little ones. Happy that the spa was heated in the pool.

Dies war mit Abstand das dreckigste Apartment, das wir bei unserer Reise entlang der Ostküste Australiens bewohnt haben. Hier ist eine ordentliche Grundreinigung angesagt. Alles, was wir benutzen wollten, mußten wir erstmal waschen oder abwaschen. Die Möbel waren falsch oder schlampig zusammen gebaut. Hinweis aktuell: Baustelle direkt nebenan!!! Wir bewohnten Apartment 410 mit Sunsetview, der übrigens sehr schön war. Und besonders schön war der anscheinend frisch verlegte, neue Teppich, sooo weich.

The location was fantastic and staff were very friendly. We had a beautiful time in Bargara but unfortunately this apartment had a disgusting smell, like damp water and it was quite unbearable staying inside the apartment. There were also gross looking stains on bed head and couch and everything felt a bit dirty and unhygienic.

The staff are lovely but the room was average at best. Decor is cute, everything worked but the smell of damp and mould (I’m guessing from the tattered carpet) was almost unbearable. We stayed 3 nights and while I was sad to leave Bargara, I was actually glad not to have to sleep in the room.

We got the top level ocean view 2 bedroom apartment. The view was awesome. Overall the stay was very comfortable although the property is aging. Close walk to beach. There were only a few things that we noted. The main bedroom was spacious. The bed comfortable. The TV was small that we couldn’t read the guide from the bed and when we did watch, it had to be in the dark with all the curtains drawn. Our first visit to Bargara was a great experience. Stayed at The Point and we were very happy with the accomodation. Great ocean views, very comfortable apartment and great location. An easy walk to shops and eateries and right on the esplanade to make it easy to enjoy a morning walk to explore the coastline. Will be back.

The location is really good , front on the waterfront. Walking track is just along the water front. Easy excess to the beach and the golf club. One drawback is the construction site right next door. It was noisy which isn’t anything the resort can do about that. The unit we had was spacious and clean. The TV was hard to operate and we gave up after a few gos at it.

Perfect location and great views. We had a 2 bed apartment that was laid out a little oddly and bedrooms dark but fine. It could have done with a lamp in living area, AC in 2nd room and a TV in main room but no big deal. Perfectly enjoyable stay.
