We initially encountered an issue with our first room, which had an unpleasant odour of sewerage. However, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in resolving the situation, promptly relocating us and offering a complimentary upgrade to a 1-bedroom apartment instead of the 1-bedroom studio we had booked. The apartment was significantly more spacious and comfortable, and I would highly recommend opting for the 1-bedroom apartment over the studio for the extra room. The only minor downside was the slow lift, as only one was available, which could be an inconvenience during peak times. However, the location was excellent, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby, and just a short walk to the Gabba busway, making transport to the city and other areas very convenient. Additionally, the underground secure parking was a great feature for added peace of mind. Overall, we appreciated the great customer service and enjoyed our stay!

I reserved two units about 8 months prior to the stay with the request we be placed near each other since our kids like to move back and forth to play and to share meals. Despite the advance notice on the request, we ended up in 2 separate towers. They did provide us with keys to the other towers so that we could go back and forth, but it was too far to allow the kids to go on their own. We were quite disappointed. The units are quite spacious and fully equipped with everything needed for a family on holiday. The location was fantastic with shops and restaurants very near. The staff was friendly and check-in/out was fast and easy. Parking was difficult to access and we were just able to get our SUB vehicles through the ramps and allocated spots were difficult to find. The rooms were not as clean as expected; patio floors desperately needed to be mopped, showers had mildew, floors were not vacuumed, etc.

Perfect to watch the cricket 30 second walk. Large apartment with everything you need. Parking and finding your way around the lifts was tricky at the start but after a while you get use to it.

Nicely appointed. The room -kitchen was not prepared for a 12 day stay on my arrival. Most everything was rectified within 2 days. Light in kitchen was out, had to defrost 4inches of ice in freezer compartment, TV was not connected for use until the following day. The handyman was friendly and competent. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Bodywash and shampoo were refilled eventually. I was shown how to use the gas stove and washer safely. Pool area was pleasant. After a slow start I felt well taken care of.

Whilst the Hotel was conveniently located for us in attending the Gabba. I would describe the hotel as 2 star at best. The rooms are very basic and need of refurbishment. Take the shower facilities for example, both showers in the 2 apartments had missing soap holder trays that i would expect were originally glass. The lift would be the slowest in Australia.

Proximity to the Gabba, shops and transport is great. Property itself is showing its age, and the apartment that we stayed in was in clear need of a thorough clean, particularly the kitchen and bathroom areas. The bathroom and shower area should be completely renovated.

Not my favourite experience, there were marks on the walls of the bedroom that appeared to be blood, stains on the carpet in multiple locations, there was broken coat hanger in the wardrobe, hair on the comforters, ‘king bed’ is two singles pushed together so there’s a stiff line down the middle, the balcony hadn’t been swept properly. The staff were lovely. Navigating the carpark was a nightmare, most of the elevators are revolving doors. 2/5

The bathroom tiles need a damn good scrubbing. The shower grout is rather discoloured. Around the bathroom sink area the tops of the tiles are dusty. I have stayed in some crap places but that was to be expected because they were dirt cheap. This was $230 for a bed for the night. Oh ok a shower too. And as for the layout of the damn place, holy hell. What a mess. I hope I never find myself in that place ever again. The only positive thing was that it was a ten minute walk to the venue for my friend's birthday.

Great staff on check in, incredibly clean apartment we stayed in. Very spacious. Convenient shops located under the accommodation (coles, bakery, cafe, Australia Post, barber) right next to the Gabba. I highly recommend booking at this place. Definitely would book here again when needed to stay in this psrt of Brisbane

The water was very slow to get away on the bathroom sink & shower. But it was very clean. Bit expensive for such a small room but a great location & great staff. The surrounds need a hose but I’m assuming that is not the Gabba units fault. We had a good experience there

Found the bathroom old and not in great condition. Dirty door jamb, shower door old and gungy. Windows dirty. Kitchenette was inadequate, had to boil kettle on a shelf, needed to reach up to get hot kettle. No bench space at all. Cooker - didn't use, we thought it was dangerous - no exhast fan above, gas too close to microwave. Had to use two remotes to get TV working. Toilet seat was loose. Location was convenient for our needs, but would look elsewhere next time. Receptionist was friendly. Lifts were claustrophobic.

The property had very low water pressure and it was hard to have a good quick shower. The laundry resources in the bathroom were fabulous. The receptionist went above and beyond to assist us when we moved in. She was just wonderful.

The room I had was very spacious. I loved having the washer/ dryer for my clothes. The bed was very comfy. My only complaint would be that the water pressure in the shower was extremely weak and the hot water (in the shower only) stopped working after my 2nd shower. I alerted the front desk but they were not able to fix this issue during my stay.

Very convenient location next to supermarket Coles and bus station, many food options nearby. The room was great had good quality washer/dryer always a plus. Good nice bed, just couldn't open windows for fresh air. The ladies in the front desk had great customer service, very helpful and friendly.

We booked as we were going to the cricket and it’s directly across the road. The location is handy for a short stroll to Southbank. The room was comfortable and spacious for a family of 4.

The staff at Gabba Central Apartments were fantastic. Everyone was very accommodating and supportive during our stay during a very difficult time in our family. We found their understanding and flexibility gave us some comfort. We would not hesitate to recommend them or to stay again. Thankyou!

Reception could improve on customer service seemed not care, patronising, not really interested in customer at all.

Nicely appointed. The room -kitchen was not prepared for a 12 day stay on my arrival. Most everything was rectified within 2 days. Light in kitchen was out, had to defrost 4inches of ice in freezer compartment, TV was not connected for use until the following day. The handyman was friendly and competent. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Bodywash and shampoo were refilled eventually. I was shown how to use the gas stove and washer safely. Pool area was pleasant. After a slow start I felt well taken care of.

We found this location convenient and close to Southbank, QPAC, pubs, eateries, shops, and sporting venues. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable, and although the shower was a bit old, it worked well. Overall, we will definitely be back.

Perfect to watch the cricket 30 second walk. Large apartment with everything you need. Parking and finding your way around the lifts was tricky at the start but after a while you get use to it.

We initially encountered an issue with our first room, which had an unpleasant odour of sewerage. However, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in resolving the situation, promptly relocating us and offering a complimentary upgrade to a 1-bedroom apartment instead of the 1-bedroom studio we had booked. The apartment was significantly more spacious and comfortable, and I would highly recommend opting for the 1-bedroom apartment over the studio for the extra room. The only minor downside was the slow lift, as only one was available, which could be an inconvenience during peak times. However, the location was excellent, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby, and just a short walk to the Gabba busway, making transport to the city and other areas very convenient. Additionally, the underground secure parking was a great feature for added peace of mind. Overall, we appreciated the great customer service and enjoyed our stay!

This hotel's got it all: awesome location, spacious rooms, and killer facilities. Plus, there's a pub, grocery store, and some great places to eat right downstairs, so you're set without having to go far. The staff are super friendly and always ready to help out with a huge smile.

Very convenient location next to supermarket Coles and bus station, many food options nearby. The room was great had good quality washer/dryer always a plus. Good nice bed, just couldn't open windows for fresh air. The ladies in the front desk had great customer service, very helpful and friendly.

This is a really well located hotel with apartments that have multiple rooms. Close to the freeway, bars/restaurants and across the road from the Gabba which make it really convenient. However because its so close to the main road it is noisy with traffic at all times. Stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment which was in desperate need of a refresh. The couch was dirty, the bathroom has old tiles which were dislodging, the shower was awful(no water coming out of the head properly). Outdoor style plastic chairs at the indoor table. The windows were so dirty, they were not clear to look through. Flooring where the photos show carpet in the main living areas which is a bit misleading. The apartment was in desperate need to be shown some love, and the negatives outweigh the positives unfortunately.
