2nd time staying at this hidden gem. Accommodations and communication with host are great, super clean, has everything you need besides a standard coffee maker. This is by design I do believe, to prevent people from putting coffee grounds down the sink. Keurig and oercolator are provides instead and work fine.

This small cabin is quite cute and functional. We really enjoyed our stay here for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. All the walls are done in Knotty Pine tongue & groove planks (my Father would have loved it). There are 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen/dining area with all the appliances you would need. There is WiFi and a great view of the Au Sable river. Outside there is a fire pit right on the river's edge. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.

Absolutely beautiful property and cabin! Not only was the setting great but the cabin was super clean and cozy. Colleen was amazing to work with and a truly wonderful person. It’s always a perfect stay at Wendy’s cabin on the Au Sable. Our 4 kids came for the second year in a row and couldn’t wait to giggle in the cozy bunk beds. We all went out and caught trout on the river directly in front of the dock. The sunroom was the perfect calm each morning with a cup of coffee. It’s immaculate and beautifully decorated.We are just so thankful to make memories together in this incredible cabin. Thank you so much for sharing it with us!

Inside the cabin our every comfort was met with cozy furniture, nice bedding and a well equipped kitchen. We relaxed by a campfire by the riverside with complimentary firewood from the owner. We are not fishermen, but we enjoyed sitting on the dock of the river as a couple of boats and wading fishermen went by. Thank you to the housekeeper for providing a spotless place!!! My wife and I had a great stay at the cabin, mixing a little fall fly fishing and relaxation. The property is excellent, as is the host. It is spotless, with everything you could need and then some. The cabin felt like a comfortable home and was appointed and supplied as such. Last, but not least is the location, on the river with easy access to town. Overall, 5 stars well earned.

Absolutely loved our stay on the Holy Waters. We came to fly fish, and it didn't disappoint. The grounds and cabin are adorable- a real dream of a retreat. Our dogs had a blast playing in the little canal alongside the cabin. It's just 10 min to Grayling for restaurants and breweries. It was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at this sweet cabin surrounded by nature. There are so many outdoor spaces to enjoy and just unplug. The cabin itself is perfect and well supplied. My wife and I had a great stay at the cabin, mixing a little fall fly fishing and relaxation. The property is excellent, as is the host. It is spotless, with everything you could need and then some. The property is very well kept. All amenities included. The location overlooking the Ausble River adds to the relaxing experience. The cabin is very clean and the hosts are very friendly and attentive. Close to all tourist attractions. Would definitely recommend this property.

The cabin was great! Super clean, everything you would need in a cabin stay was provided. Caught a brown trout just north of the cabin. Easy river access. Less than 15min from restaurants and fly shops.

2nd time staying at this hidden gem. Accommodations and communication with host are great, super clean, has everything you need besides a standard coffee maker. This is by design I do believe, to prevent people from putting coffee grounds down the sink. Keurig and oercolator are provides instead and work fine.

This small cabin is quite cute and functional. We really enjoyed our stay here for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. All the walls are done in Knotty Pine tongue & groove planks (my Father would have loved it). There are 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen/dining area with all the appliances you would need. There is WiFi and a great view of the Au Sable river. Outside there is a fire pit right on the river's edge. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.

Absolutely beautiful property and cabin! Not only was the setting great but the cabin was super clean and cozy. Colleen was amazing to work with and a truly wonderful person. Every small detail was addressed for renter convenience. From firewood on site, fire starting materials, hot dog skewers, coffee, etc… everything was organized and ready for use!

On the banks of the Au Sable river, a National Wild and Scenic river, yet recreation friendly, the Historic River Cabin has it all. Many thanks to Wendy and David for sharing their nature sanctuary with us! It was truly a magical experience. Inside the cabin our every comfort was met with cozy furniture, nice bedding and a well equipped kitchen. We relaxed by a campfire by the riverside with complimentary firewood from the owner. We are not fishermen, but we enjoyed sitting on the dock of the river as a couple of boats and wading fishermen went by. Thank you to the housekeeper for providing a spotless place!!! This cabin is at the top of favorites! We hope to return —-with a fishing pole .

Our stay here was beyond our expectations! Beautiful cabin, immaculate, every detail thought of. Beautiful scenery everywhere you turn, excellent location, close to several trails through the woods and downtown Grayling, Many excellent fishing locations. Great place to unwind.
