The Pearle of Cable Beach

It was like staying in paradise. We loved the self contained apartment with private pool. It's a shame the cafe pool was under construction but there was another cafe available down the road walking distance. We loved our stay in Broome

Disappointing there was no restaurant or gym but otherwise a great stay. Also using the code to access after 5pm was a pain as I twice left the code inside and had to wait for someone else to open the gate. A swipe pass would be better.

This is a great hotel to stay at for both work or pleasure. The pool is AMAZING and perfect for laps as it’s 25M. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The Continental breakfast sets you up for the day and I’d recommend that you include that in your booking. Thank you!

The positive - friendly staff, comfortable enough room without being anything special and a great swimming pool at a lovely temperature. The not so positive - advertised as a 4.5 star resort at nearly $400 per night. Absolutely no amenities to justify that price tag. Literally a room, a pool and a cafe. No on site restaurants, no gym or sporting areas. Granted wet season and lower availability but we called ahead and were told the cafe would be open until 4pm daily except public holidays whereas it closed at 10am daily after breakfast. No lunch options on site, not even snacks at the reception store. The room was very basic for the price with no sitting area inside and the Foxtel didn’t work (no reception despite several checks) and the wifi was always 2 bars max and painfully slow. I also asked for a later check out which was offered at an additional $50 despite my gold status claiming later check outs were a perk. This is a nice enough hotel but not value for money compared to others in the area, where we ended up eating at most evenings. I feel this is really an over priced option especially considering out of season with reduced amenities.

Beds are old and back breaking $1000 a night and they want $ 40 to change ur towels We only stayed 4 nights so they don’t clean the room Coffee shop/ cafe closed We have stayed there 3 times now, really not sure there will be a 4th All pool chairs are very well weathered, no shade sails over the pool Pretty sure the lady that checked us in did not want to be there Everyone else was great We have always talked up this place, not any more

Beautiful private Villa, loved our pool, big open living area & decks, with a huge bathroom. Gorgeous gardens & very peaceful even though the place was full. Highly recommend The Pearle for a relaxing holiday ❤️❤️

We stayed in a 1 bedroom pool villa, very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the plunge pool was fantastic.

The property was clean and tidy both inside the villa and around the grounds. We were generally happy with the resort as a place to holiday in Broome. The included Breakfast was GREAT. One small issue was with the daily servicing of the villa - Although towels were changed and the bed re-made, there was no attention given to replenishment of the tea and coffee used. Our planned 4 night stay was cut to 3 nights because we were delayed by bush fires between Sandfire and Broome. There was no "financial consideration" allowed in the pricing for this unavoidable delay. It is understood that the establishment suggest taking travel insurance to cover emergencies but given the uncontrollable nature of our delay we thought that SOME consideration should have been forthcoming. Otherwise, we very satisfied with the condition of the resort. Cathy and Keith

The taxi drivers Roz & Mark are really worth their name: Friendly, reasonable price, they know well about Broome and pleased to give you very good suggestions about where to go and when to go

The gardens are beautifully maintained and each unit/villa very private. On first impressions it’s great. It’s pricey even for peak season in Broome. But room was really poorly cleaned. Dust was terrible. Towels past it. Fridge was not working- froze and ruined all fresh veggies & f fruit. Very delayed check in & only an hour extra despite 15 night stay. Not going back.

Comfy, cosy, air conditioned, short walk from the beach, complimentary breakfast with some delicious little pasteries (unfortunately only full cream milk though). But outdated electrical socket boards that don't have proper safety (mine sparked twice when I plugged chargers in) and the shower head hadn't been properly cleaned/maintained.

The property was very well maintained and the breakfast although basic was quite good, however the level of cleaning of the chalet left a lot to be desired, the bathroom was hardly touched, and I don't think the floor was swept the entire time we were there. My main criticism would be that it is described as a short stroll from cable beach, however, it is in fact a good 20-minute walk away!

Dishwasher, didnt work at all Washing machine worked 1/3 Dryer didnt work Microwave smwlt like burning rats smoke incl.

Overall, a good place Wi-Fi is nonexistent and the place could do with a makeover as its looking a little tired particulalry given the price asked.

Our room was a bit tired. Staff super helpful and accommodating.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Gary at the cafe was an outstanding member of staff and a lovely guy.

Awful Experience, would never come back. To put it to context, I should mention that we paid 350 AUD/night. The place itself is in good shape. Rooms are clean, pool was relaxing. Was a bit disappointed with the continental breakfast. Lots of cereals and stuff, but if you wanted toast your only choices were raspb. jam, honey, peanut butter. I think a bit thin choice when they charge 20 dollars for the breakfast. I bought us some ham and cheese slices at Coles and brought them to brekkie. That was more our taste. Kingbed was awful. It was just two single beds tied together with a zipper. Whenever I moved at night my wife woke up cause the whole bed was moving. Asked if they could separate the beds to improve our sleep. They wanted to charge 47 Dollars. After I was not fine with extra charge they generously checked again and reduced it to 41 dollar. Again said, the fare of the room was already 350 per night! We had the same bed thing 2 weeks earlier in a Perth Hotel, only they kindly separated the beds within 5 minutes when we asked. Poor customer service and greed by the "Pearle". Overall the Personnel was partly impolite. Worst thing though was that housekeeping just through away some of our stuff. We had gathered some memories from our trip in a box and put it on the floor next to the bed and the next day it was gone. We just got a really halfhearted apology from the manager. After that we were through with this place. Definitely not the pearle in cable beach. So sad

Friendly staff, well set out, within walking distance of the beach, all essential services on offer. I’ll be sure to book a room with a pool next time

The pool area is tranquil. Buffet very good - only downfall was the coffee (weak). Loved the seating on the porch.

Great value for money, loved staying here. The facilities were well maintained and very clean. The breakfast every morning was a great start to the day. And loved staying near cable beach. Would definitely recommend.
