We stayed at Avani Resort from February 9th to 13th, 2025, and had a lovely experience. The resort is beautifully maintained with stunning beach views. It is conveniently located on a lively street with plenty to do, including shops and a water taxi station within walking distance. The staff at the pool area and spa were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed a wonderful massage at the spa and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing experience. A word of caution regarding the WiFi: it asks for your email to connect, and after I connected, my email account was blocked, with multiple unauthorized attempts to access it. Thankfully, I had security measures in place, but I had to disconnect from the WiFi. I suggest using a SIM card for internet access instead. The buffet was good, though breakfast could use a little improvement. One small suggestion: it would be nice if there was a designated area for smokers at the rooftop. We don’t smoke, and I personally get migraines from cigarette or cannabis smoke, which is quite common in Krabi. A separate smoking area would make the experience more enjoyable for everyone. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Avani Resort and would happily recommend it to others.

The staff was super great and accommodating, and the pool villas were amazing. The rooms were so spacious and the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. We even tried to extend our stay a couple days bc we loved the room so much. The hotel pool was also gorgeous with amazing views (the smaller pool is right by the lobby but looked nice enough). The hotel building itself was a bit outdated. You have to take a bunch of stairs and elevators to get to the street which could be difficult for those not as mobile. And the gym looked really nice but AC didn’t work, 3 out of 4 cardio machines were broken, and was an all around fail. Hopefully they will get that fixed as times become more normal post Covid. The hotel was in a great location of Ao Nang and we definitely thought it was easily worth the value. We even booked an Avani hotel for our nights in Bangkok because of the great experience we had.

Good location convenient for food options and getting the boats to the islands. Rooms were big and bed comfortable enough. Problem was layout of the buildings were not well thought. Had to walk and take several lifts just to go to breakfast. Also the roof top pool although nice views was terribly maintained. Sun beds were dirty and old. Staff didn’t bother to clean them. Has potential but shame about maintanence.

I did a deluxe seaview room yet my balcony looked right into a tree, not the sea. Also had to take 3 different elevators to get to my room, which never seemed to be below 100% humidity. Keeping it at 79 before I arrived didn’t help. But real area that needs major improvement is front desk. To get anyone’s attention even when a half a dozen people were standing there was a challenge. They’d rather talk to each other to answer the phone than make eye contact with a guest. If I asked a question, I got a blank stare and then sheer panic as they would talk amongst themselves to figure out an answer to a simple question any front desk would know. Also tried to charge me for food at the pool that I did not order. Laundry was also expensive compared to other hotels. Pluses: central location for access to beach, shopping, massages, and dining. Nice to be in the same building as the pool.

Es fing schon gut an, wir bekamen ein kostenloses Upgrade in ein Superior Zimmer im Panorama Building mit Meerblick. Das Zimmer war umwerfend. So wie das gesamte Hotel. Am Hang gebaut mit 2 Pools, davon ein Infinity Pool mit Blick auf die Berge und das Meer. Außerdem war das Frühstück sagenhaft, es blieb kein Wunsch offen. Es gab auch eine Rooftop Bar und sogar eine Happy Hour zum Sonnenuntergang. Und natürlich das Personal. Immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es war ein wunderschöner Aufeinander und kommen gerne wieder.

Iencountered numerous ants in my room, including dead ones from previous pest control efforts that hadn't been cleaned up before my arrival. Additionally, I had to wait two hours to check into my room. This was extremely disappointing, especially after spending a significant amount on the Pool Villa. However, the staff were very helpful and kind, doing their best to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, there appears to be an ongoing ant infestation.

Overall, our stay at Avani was decent, but the cleanliness could use some improvement—especially the couch, which was noticeably dirty. Aside from that, the hotel is huge, featuring a nice rooftop and pool. There appears to be a strong smell coming from probably the drains. Some rooms smell more than others. The bed was very hard. Staff were excellent and nearly always friendly. Cleaning could have been done daily, as opposed to upon request. Upper level pool was awesome, but the sun chairs urgently need to be replaced. Oh and 10/10 breakfast curries.

Das Hotel an sich hat einen guten Standard und bietet alles was man sich vorstellen kann (Infinity Pool, Roof Top Bar, Zimmer mit Jaccuzi und tollen Ausblick sowie eine sehr große Frühstücksauswahl) Leider ist das Hotel mittlerweile in die Jahre gekommen und das sieht man leider. Normal sind wir hier nicht empfindlich, aber bei einem 4 Sterne Hotel, darf man denke ich erwarten dass kein Abflussgeruch aus der Toilette kommt, der Wasserhahn einwandfrei funktioniert, und die durchgelegenen Matratzen von Zeit zu Zeit ausgetauscht werden. Für den Preis den wir gezahlt haben hätten wir uns daher einen besseren Zustand erwartet.

This is an upscale hotel in the fun town of Ao Nang. It fronts the busy main drag yet once inside its a quiet oasis. Gorgeous infinity pool, 2 nice bars and restaurants. Food and service excellent and rooms are modern and clean with very comfortable beds. Walk right out to all you need for bars, restaurants, shopping and just 5 mins down to the beach. Wonderful spa as well!

This is a nice hotel in an outstanding location. The staff were very diligent and attentive. The view is great and the infinity pool is wonderful. The only thing I did not like is that the 'superior' room double bed is in fact two single beds squashed together with a mattress topper layed across the top. The beds begin to separate after a little movement. Very inconvenient for couples hoping for a romantic stay. Be sure to specify that you need a real double bed and you should have a wonderful stay.

Our stay was amazing! Upon check-in our room was upgraded at no additional charge to the Panorama Sea-View room and that did not disappoint. The view was breathtaking and the room itself was perfect. The rooms are amazing. Very clean, spatious, and lots of free water. They have an espresso machine in every room. The views were great too. Finally, the unforgetable staff. All staff were friendly and always willing to help in any way possible. There are a few steps and hills to get to some rooms, but most are accesible via elevator and or buggy transfer (available 24/7). 7/11, subway, mcdonalds are all very close by if you need those comforts from home, and the rooms are far enough away from the street music, so you can always get a restful sleep. Awesome job to all staff. It was a great stay.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. While we appreciated the friendly hospitality and cleanness of the property, we found the interior room layout puzzling. There is a window look directly into the shower from the kitchen, and the bathroom door has slots in it, offering no privacy. The “second bedroom” is not a bedroom because it has no door, and it has a half wall facing the bathroom area. There are lots of stairs and elevators with confusing layout design, making it very difficult to reach restaurants/swimming pools. That being said, we did enjoy the spa and the infinity pool. The view from the pool is fantastic! If we ever return to the city, we will not stay here.

Amazing hotel, amazing staff, great location, superb breakfast, beautiful rooms the only downside is that all the rooms need dehumidifiers... the humidity is so high in that area literally everything is wet. We had to do laundry at the end of our stay in the hotel...

When we booked we didn’t know the location but this hotel is right on the Main Street. Walking distance to shop and restaurant. Only 5 minutes walk to Ao Nang Beach. Very Good hotel .

Great location!!! Lots of restaurants nearby and even a Starbucks/Mcdonals and 7/11 literally right next to the hotel. Super close distance to Ao Nang Beach which is also amazing. Pool has also great views. Overall this is a great hotel, highly recommend this place.

Rooftop pool & bar was superb. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. Service was friendly. If you want to opt for an excellent hotel with a great location, you should take this hotel. The view from the infinity pool is unparalleled. We even had a bathtub on our balcony! We stayed longer than originally planned because we enjoyed the hotel so much.

The property is amazing. Clean and beautiful surroundings. Better than the pictures online. The view from our room was so perfect. The breakfast buffet was so good, with so many delicious options, and the staff here were the friendliest I've ever encountered anywhere. Loved it here so much and will recommend to everyone.

This is a difficult one to review. We booked a pool villa which was huge with a great pool if slightly in need of renovation (bad low pressure shower with mould up the wall, worn flooring, missing pool tiles). It was at the back of the hotel on the hill but was overlooking the sunset bar and the pool so not as secluded as we would have liked, however given we stayed at new year we ended up with a front row seat to the fireworks and celebration without being charged which was nice. However, there were issues with the hotel generally. There are a million lifts in different sections of the main building to use to get to anywhere and there don’t seem to be any service lifts so those lifts are almost always full of staff with crates moving things. Therefore if you don’t want to climb a hundred stairs it takes ages to get anywhere. There is nothing in the mini bar. It’s just a fridge. So you need to buy from the 7 Eleven. And room service wasn’t available after 10pm. It’s not what we expected. And the villas are like a separate add on to the main hotel so for that money I’d not stay again. Staff were generally lovely though especially the drivers of the buggies you can ask for to get to the top if available. Loved Ao Nang generally and we ate out every meal in town in the end, and that was great. It’s an easy walk to most things in the main town which is great.

Large breakfast buffet with Asian and Western choices. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed both pools, room had an umbrella to use. Easy walking to shopping, dining, boats and beach.
