Absolutely stunning views room was amazing. Only downside was tv channels and Foxtel not working properly so unable to watch football with partner and bed was only a double but everything else was perfect and so completely outweighs any negative at all for the place. Alpacas were great to see and waking up to the sound of the ocean was amazing.

Very overpriced. Not enough facilities. Poor wi fi connection which hardly worked . Super old television. It was boring as we couldn’t connect our phones to television. Rooms very small . No dishwasher and oven in the kitchen . So u can’t grill anything. Overall average . Except the view and location.

Modern, compact studio chalet with kitchenette, This property is all about the view Picture window has panoramic view of the beach, there is a road in front but that is invisible from the chalet so the views appear uninterrupted. It was special to wake up with the sun over the water. The shower with window through to the view was fantastic. Bathroom areas got quite wet due to the short shower screen so keep the bath mat a bit further from the shower and the access road had a few potholes so need to be slow and careful once you leave the road. Staff were friendly, would stay again.

Fantastic view! The view really is everything! While the road is between the unit and the ocean, the clever landscaping means you hardly see it. The waves also generally dull the noise of any cars. Stayed in a 2 bedroom unit which was great size for 2 people. Comfortable sofas, outdoor setting, and lovely gas heater on cold nights. It’s not cheap but the view of a worth it

The views for the room were amazing, the room was modernised and very clean. No Netflix or wifi was available, the aircon malfunctioned during our stay and leaked water on the floor. Good location just out of the main town, right off the highway.

Loved the Alpacas and the Breathtaking Views of the ocean and surrounding landscape Some small things were dissapointing, like all the dead flies that were stuck in the sliding doors, bad smelling shampoo, used dish cloths supplied for cleaning, someone's nail clippings found in the bedroom, the fry pan looking like it needs replacing, a really old dustpan suppllied & a few other things. All these little things make a difference and shape the overall experience of the stay & if we return.

Very disappointed that the images on the room we booked was not the room we got!! I booked the room because of the fireplace in the booking photo!!!! There was also white dog hair all over the floor. I have photos if management would like them. I would not have booked this stay if the fireplace was not there. It was a special trip with my partner and it really made us feel sad when we arrived. I would like someone to look into this and get back to me please. Regards Emilia

The hotel is right on the coast of an "own" bay of manies in the Great Ocean Road with magnificent and relaxing sea-view and sound. Parking, check-in, and the property itself (even with black birds singing, alpaca's, lake etc.) are superb. The rooms are a bit too tight, there was not enough space to pack out or eat. During our stay there was problem with the fire alarm,, which went on several times at night, and with a lot of little flies.

The bathroom was so small we could not bend down to dry my feet without bumping the hand basin or toilet which meant we stepped out into the kitchen area to dry and dress. No opening windows so no air circulation during the day which led to towels staying wet as they were not changed daily and there was no heated towel rail.

On a previous visit we found the room to be excellent, on this visit however, the room was considerably smaller and the furniture sub-par, sitting on the loungeroom chairs was very uncomfortable with the chairs creaking and cracking and feeling very unstable. The outside sitting area was not as private as expected and the bushes had not been trimmed, obscuring the ocean view when sitting.

Beautiful, rustic location situation above the Great Ocean Road with views over the Bass Strait. Very peaceful location but just a few miles from Apollo Bay. The units are modern and spacious.

After booking this property I seen some negative reviews that made me worry. However, I thought the place had an amazing view, it was quiet, and clean. It had been mentioned that there was no staff or communication. I had replies to my emails within the day and seen at least 5 different staff members who were more than happy to help. The only negative review that I could maybe agree with was the shower leaked water when using it and the floor got very wet. It’s wasn’t a big issue but could possibly use some rectification. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. I loved that it felt like no one else was even staying at the property and the ocean waves all night was the best. Maybe people need to remember this is a smal coastal town, not a big fancy hotel in the city.

We didn’t see a hotel representative for the duration of our three night stay. The check-in was done though envelopes and key drop offs. The rooms are only cleaned weekly and that did not occur during our stay which was sad because the sand build-up was inevitable. We were surprised by the general quality of the room. It is more of a roadside motel, filled with IKEA furniture with very few amenities. We stayed at three different places on this trip, including a five-star hotel in Melbourne and a fantastic four-star hotel on the Mornington peninsula. Seafarers Getaway didn’t even come close in terms of quality and it was far more expensive than the others. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for something special.

The sound of the surfs - what a delight! It was private even with strip units... And clean room. Fantastic view! The view really is everything! While the road is between the unit and the ocean, the clever landscaping means you hardly see it. The waves also generally dull the noise of any cars. Stayed in a 2 bedroom unit which was great size for 2 people. Comfortable sofas, outdoor setting, and lovely gas heater on cold nights. It’s not cheap but the view of a worth it
