First room, ac unit thermostat had broken readout. No way to tell how to set it. Second room, ac worked as it should. But the coffee maker outlet or plug was bad. Tripped the gfci breaker few times. The swimming pool is protected by a padlock that you must call the front office to use. Never have I seen this stupid setup elsewhere. Should be same card access as your room.

Homeless encampment behind the building was an issue. People walking around in the parking lot and in and out of the woods. I parked my car into a spot right in front in the back lot and a person was smoking crack. Didn’t seem like much security getting in and out of the building and never saw a security guard. Would not recommend.

The pool was closed. The floors looked like they had not been vacuumed in weeks. There is no elevator. The room did not have a microwave. The staff was NOT friendly. Parking in the back of the hotel was not very safe, looked like a homeless hangout. The only good part was the breakfast was great !

Terrible service over 30 min at the front desk to check in. Then the room was not clean and door stuck like it was pushed in. The parking lot and area were unsafe. We did not stay! Left and found another hotel with security and cleanliness to stay in. No refund given. Terrible!

Crappy!!! The first that we were assigned was an inferno,, the next room that we were moved to the air was set on 60 and we could n't turn it off. The remote to the television did not work, we were unable to change the channel, adjust the volume or do anything with the remote. The overall stay was underwhelming to say the least. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Smithfield, RI.

Room smelt of industrial cleaner. TV did not work even after hotel staff came to work on it. Coffee maker was inoperable the On button was broken off the unit. Every time I went out to my vehicle there were people hanging around the vehicles smoking marijuana. It was the worst hotel I ever stayed in.

The staff were friendly and responsive. Continental breakfast was small but had good variety. Bed linens were updated and clean. I unfortunately found the mattress very uncomfortable. It was much much too soft, no support and seemed warn on one side.

There was an incident in early morning with an annoyed, profane, loud (repeatedly pounding on his door) guest for which my wife and I were fearful of our personal safety. The night manager was slow to respond, at least 1/2 hour ( ? wonder if he was even in the building) Manager repeatedly apologized, but offered no reassurances, or compensation consideration. We left very early in morning and skipped breakfast d/t our concern. Will never return

Unusual entry to this property. Cannot see from the main road. Must drive down a private treed driveway not knowing what to expect. Hotel sign on main road is small, old, easy to miss. Hotel inside was all updated, but the building outside is old, uninviting and unattractive. I hesitated about going inside because of its appearance. The updated interior was a pleasant contrast to the outside.

Employees were great. I think they did the best with what they were given. If you are looking for a place to just sleep and shower this passes the test. Also in a safe and quiet area with lots of restaurants close by.

The hotel itself was run down. The Bed was comfy. At breakfast, the coffee and hot food didn’t look appetizing. The bagels,juice, yogurts and fresh fruit were good. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
