Sleep Inn & Suites Pleasant Hill - Des Moines

The bed was plenty big but super hard. Probably the worst mattress I've ever tried to sleep on. The room was "clean" enough. There was clear signs there was a birthday party in there before we checked in. In between the wall and dresser was confetti and plastic toys. The staff was amazing the breakfast was plenty and fresh. The orange juices was out of order but other than that was a good breakfast. All in all an average stay not great but not bad.

Staff was great. The room was very clean. The Wi-Fi was excellent. The breakfast was satisfying. The big disappointment was the hot tub...it was broken the entire time we were there. I really wanted to leave a five-star review, but honestly, I booked this hotel because of the hot tub, so we were pretty disappointed. Not the staff's fault and again, they were wonderful. I always look for good eggs in a hearty hotel breakfast, and I got great eggs and other breakfast items, so that was a win!
