The air conditioner was not working. When I made the staff aware, he made it a point to tell me that I could only change rooms once. Found a dead roach in the bathroom. The sink would not drain. Breakfast was not a breakfast. Staff was rude.

This building needs many upgrades. Sadly, in this small farm/college town there isn't very many choices for hotels. As soon as you arrive on the property there is a 1900's 4 door sedan parked in the middle with flat tires and you can tell it hasn't been moved as weeds have grown around it. Some of the windows of the hotel were open and as soon as you walk into the hotel lobby it smelled like old smoke and was cluttered. I was also made sure to sign that i would not be smoking or bringing pets, yet the hotel smelled horribly like at some point all of that was allowed. I made my way to the second floor via the stairs. There is an old single recliner/couch right by the stairs which was eerie and the entire way smelled like fresh smoke. Upon entering my room, the first thing I noticed was the bathroom. The towels had old strands of hair on them and the next morning there was a roach leg on the floor. The water pressure was good from shower, but water temp was really hot. I preferred to only come to room to sleep and hung out at the dorms on campus with my son all I could. Would recommend staying 30 mins away in Sedalia or even 1 hour away I a bigger city next time if they don't renovate soon.

The rooms were not very clean. Asking for extra towels was not really an option. Older lady at front desk was rude. Building was very outdated.

It was hot until the A/C got caught up and not terribly clean. Lady was nice enough. Breakfast was literally a family size pack of chips ahoy cookies and some apples. But much cheaper than the other place.
