Deck help very attentive & helpful, turned us onto to PDI's for ice cream & food. A second morning person is needed as desk attendant also takes care of breakfast: refill food & clean area. Third floor was mostly quiet, elevator was really slow, ran out of hot water second morning.

Our room was a bit updated, but all in all it was the staff was very friendly and made sure we had clean towels and sheets every day. Breakfast was OK nothing to brag about, but it beat having to go out and find breakfast and pay for it. We ended up only eating the muffins and making cups of coffee. The kids were sad when we got there because the polls closed and they didn’t have a date of when the pool would open either. Honestly, the hotel wasn’t the best really it’s the staff that made up for what the hotel lacks.

The hotel was clean. Breakfast was good and hot(biscuits and gravy, waffles, eggs, sausage and potatoes. Beds were okay. I booked it because it had a pool. After check in was told pool was closed for repair which is understandable. When we got back to room after breakfast our room was over runned with ants that wasn't there earlier.

The staff was super friendly. The only issue we experienced was the elevator button on the 3rd floor wouldn’t work. There was a sign saying to hit the button hard but we could never get it to work. Luckily it wasn’t a lot of steps to take.

I had made my reservation here so I could enjoy the pool, however the pool was closed. I asked why and was told that it had rained the day before and they may or may not open it that day. I was disappointed but the wonderful breakfast the next morning made up for it. All in all enjoyed my stay.

First I will say I was disappointed that the pool was closed for the season. It was still 90 outside. For what I paid I could’ve gotten the same services that was offered next door for half the cost. The bed was so uncomfortable. Needs to be replaced

Our stay was pleasant. Our hotel and room smelled cleaned but the carpets were dirty. Management needs to spend some money to upgrade their hotel. Even though we didn’t eat breakfast there it looked very appetizing. The parking lot was very well lit. Overall the hotel accommodations served there purpose.

The bathroom tube and sink was dirty. I cleaned it before we could use it. The carpet was disgusting. They need to shampoo room 208. Staff was very nice. Breakfast wasn’t good. Waffle machine was out of order snd no oatmeal. I heard the worker say she wasn’t making any because the business was too slow. Very little bread. No fruit. Had to listen to two lady works sitting behind me complaining about their job there. Had to ask them to take their conversation elsewhere. I wish I had taken pictures. We stayed 2 nights.

The 1st room we got smelled like mold, the environment of the hotel felt unsanitary. the carpet was old, dirty and smelly. we were given another room which was more acceptable, would not recommend this hotel, our stay was very unpleasant.

The linen was not clean. The was noticeable rusting around toilet and fixtures. Roaches were present and housekeeping entered the room, emptied the trash and replaced towels but did not make up the bed. I can tell that the property is probably under new management and they are in transition but this was unacceptable.

First of all the lobby and elevator were filthy and stunk. When we opened our room, the smell of cigarettes caused us both to gag and there was a terrible smell. We complained and listened to another guest at the front desk complaining and we were both told to spray our room with her disinfectant. No ability to change rooms but honestly the hallway smelled just as bad! The pillows stunk like butts. Altogether an awful experience

Overall we were HIGHLY satisfied with our 3-night stay here. The outside is pleasant and clean, and immediately when we walked inside, the lobby looked and smelled clean and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 225 on the second floor (they told us they’d face us towards the back of property, away from the noisy road which has been wonderful. NO issues with sound here. And our bed is configured against the outside wall so we don’t have neighbor noise) Immediately when we walked in the room it smelled clean. With a fresh almost bleachy smell in the bathroom. I wiped things down and haven’t even encountered dust! The hotel is older and a little shabby around the edges and some of the carpets could use an update. But for the price, this place has been GREAT. And the town of Laurel truly a pleasure to visit

Bathroom was filthy. Toilet bowl was splattered with feces, floor and shower were dirty. Carpeting was filthy, my socks and feet were black from walking on it. Room smelled terrible and hard to breathe. We will never stay here again and will not recommend this place to anyone else.

The staff is outstanding Front desk Theresa, Morgan, John, Mr.Neel outstanding ….also housekeeping Hannah ,Jackie And the dining room attendants Mrs Lauren and Mrs Kathy were so kind to me and my husband I would definitely recommend this hotel

This use to be the old Best Western they changed the name to Days Inn. We would normally stay here whenever we visted family. However staff and room were great but Ihad to give a poor rating because room had Bed Bugs!! . I reported to staff and they didn't seem at all surprised. We will not be returning again.. Check your room if you book here.

The room was poorly maintained. The bed sagged in the middle, the TV didn’t work and the staff could not fix it, the shower head produced a very weak water stream. No solutions were offered.

The staff was so friendly and talkative. I really enjoyed talking with them. The room was spacious and very clean bathroom. The carpet needed a good shampoo cleaner. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was the usual eggs, sausage and biscuits. They did have a Belgian Waffle Maker.

The lady at counter was just having a conversation with another employee for 10 minutes before helping me. Then could not figure out my reservation with Expedia and had to call them , but it was her fault for not checking a box on computer. Took another 20 minutes to even check in Not good customer service and while doing all this she was gossiping to me about other employees, lady I don’t care I just want a room , omg

The lady that checked us in was great. Super friendly and she even came and helped fix our TV. The only thing that could us some improvement was the restocking of the morning breakfast. We came down around 8:00 and there was nothing other than cereal and 2 biscuits and the waffle machine was broken and out of mix. There was a softball tournament in town and due to the breakfast not getting restocked a lot of the girls didn't get to eat. Other than that, everything was great!

the location is good right off exit 96 on 16th avenue. the staff was very friendly and Teresa was a very good receptionist. the free breakfast is very good. the hotel is old and there are a few problems with the rooms.

This Days Inn is conveniently located next to gas stations, and is a short drive to downtown historic Laurel, MS. The front desk staff were courteous and polite and friendly.

The female at the front desk was always very nice and smiling. At first, those are problem, finding our reservation, but then she took care of it There is something wrong with the lock on room 122. It does not close properly. The shower looks very dingy and old. You need something more in your breakfast peanut butter fruit all you had was Eggs, some sausage and biscuit you have to ramp up your breakfast

The service from the Manager, Monarch was upsetting. A week prior to my stay I called to reserve 2 rooms and Monarch took all my information over the phone including credit card info and said he would call me back with confirmation #'s and he never did. I called back and according to Teresa, Monarch had left for the day and did not put my rooms in the system. I ended up doing a reservation online. Day of check-in, Teresa gave my dad a difficult time. The breakfast was out, so I asked Monarch if he would refill. He put uncooked/still frozen sausage and biscuits out. I informed him and he went back to reheat. Thank God there was a microwave, so i just reheated my own sausage and biscuits. I was able to cook my own waffle. I have stayed at this hotel several times before when it was under different management. Bring previous owners back!!
