Comfort Suites Alexandria North

The hotel was overbooked. I paid for a double room with a pullout couch. They offered me a king room with couch. They gave me linens for my daughter but had no more blankets. Get to the room and it's dirty. Linens piled in the corner. Go downstairs to tell them. She says there is one last room they can put me in but the lock doesn't work. I told her I was not staying in a room that doesn't lock properly. I was then told I had to get manager approval to get my money back.

This is the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever been to. The staff was nice, that was the only good thing. The room I booked 3 weeks in advance wasn’t available. They gave us one that didn’t have enough beds for us. We asked for a second room, and they gave us the smokers version. This room had blinking lights (bulb going out?), an actual blood trail from the bed to the bathroom, bloody handprints on the wall, dresser and window, ashes on the blanket on one bed, blood on the couch, and it smelled terrible. Never, ever again.

The bathrooms are disgusting and accessing the rooms was a task. There were bugs on the front counter and the ironing board fell apart. I would not recommend anyone stay there until serious renovations are made.

We were not greeted by an employee, had to wait a few minutes. The worker came in saying she was outside on her break. It waa nice to have the beds separated in two room area however one bed was absolutely broken. We went to get breakfast about 6:30, as we had been told it starts at 6am. We were then told Saturday morning that it starts at 7am. This was a problem for us because we needed to leave before then. There wasn’t soap for washing hands AND showering. We had to pick one, so bring body wash. Our curtains wouldn’t close so we had street lights shining in through the night. We personally wouldn’t pick to stay there next time.
