Rodd Crowbush Golf & Beach Resort

We really enjoyed our stay at Crowbush Cove. Large, clean comfortable room. Played 36 holes on the challenging golf course one day. Easy walk to beautiful beach. Morning buffet simple but reasonably priced. Staff courteous and professional. Gym is small, but we made it work. Looking forward to our next stay at Rodd Brudenell River.

This property was greatly impacted by Hurricane Fiona. We picked this place because of the amenities listed on Expedia and the Crowbush website. This resort is in rebuilt. The tennis courts are not open. The Hot tub is not working. Old rotted wood around it and nails sticking through. The beach shuttle cannot go to beach as the pathway was destroyed. There is netting and debris everywhere. Which means you have to walk on the range, in which the netting has also been ripped to shreds and laying everywhere with the wooden poles. The lovely picture of the couple sitting on the beach wooden deck is not valid. The deck is mostly buried and busted - no dangling patio lights. No Fire pits on the beach. Spa also not open. The Pool was closed when we arrived. But did open. It’s ok. The room is dingy. Gym - Elliptical is out of service. Also to get into pool / sauna you have to go to front desk as room keys won’t swipe. Odd !!! I imagine prior to the Hurricane this resort was brilliant. Both Expedia and Crowbush should have had disclaimers & updated pictures. We are seeking compensation for the false information . We would have stayed elsewhere. The rooms are ok. Very old/ outdated. Currently playing the back and forth game with Expedia and resort on compensation. If you are reading this -stay somewhere else. Visit this place in 2-3 years when it is cleaned up. I have taken numerous pic/videos. Kat0817 is my instagram. Message for more.

Spa closed. ( still on Expedia website). Problems not solved by management. Restaurant under staff. 40 minutes before a glass of wine arrived let alone dinner!

Everything was fantastic and we enjoyed our stay very much! Everyone on the property made us feel welcome and special. The beach was fantastic, dinner in the club house was delicious and the sunset view was unforgettable. We loved our excursion on the electric bikes. We cannot wait to come back! Staff went above and beyond for us and made our stay exceptional - special shoutout to Ryan - thank you!

Sidney Crosby stays there..csn't be bad! Is verrry clean. A bit dated decor, but not a mark on anything. Bed was good. Pullout was fine. Unexpected our 18 yr old joined us so they provided a cot...no issue...was fine for our15 yr old. Great golf, beach is fantastic. Food great. Tennis, pickle ball, pool.

Rooms are clean. The shuttle to the beach makes it convenient to enjoy the day.

I booked this place just because they had spa, swimming pool and other facilities. We were so tired on the day we reached in to the resort and we were so excited about spa. We booked two deluxe rooms and the front staff gave the rooms in two corners even though we came together. We asked about the spa and the front staff mentioned they haven't started the spa yet and don't know if they'll have it for the whole year. We were so disappointed and the front staff mentioned that they have the swimming pool which is open till 10:30 PM and also it does have a hot tub. So, we made up our mind and planned to go to the swimming pool and can chill there for a while. We planned to go to the beach first and online they mentioned they had shuttle service to the beach and when we asked the front staff told, that wasn't open as well. They kept on apologizing and said it's just a 5 minute walk. We walked to the beach and came back at 7:30 PM. We walked right in to the swimming pool are and our room cards were not working for the pool entrance. So, we went upstairs and asked the front staffs what's going on?, The door's not opening and then the receptionist said the PH level of the water in the pool is not good and they cannot allow us in the pool. Also, they mentioned they'll call within an hour if there's an update and nobody called there after. Also, the shower tap was not working properly and I almost burned my hand while taking bath. Room service was awful.

Great ocean view, dining and golf course.

We loved our two night stay at this property. We had an amazing ocean view from our room. The room was spacious, clean and felt very cozy. Staff were very friendly. Will definitely be back to stay here again! Only negative thing is that the food at the two restaurants could have been better.

Overall, the rooms are outdated. The room really was not clean. There was dust on the surfaces when we first checked into the room and the floor was still dirty. There was an earwig on the robes provided in the closet. Comfortable bed, great view and very friendly staff. Do not eat at the restaurant - we were also told not to go and left with no other choice, we did. Although the server and restaurant manager did their best to correct the situation, the salmon and risotto were served cold (but the pasta dish was great!). The risotto was overdone - texture like mush. It is unfortunate to see that the kitchen favours frozen seafood rather than supporting the local economy. The Crowbush golfcourse is great, but recommend staying elsewhere.

Very clean

Lovely hotel, very clean and spacious. Friendly staff who are very helpful with any questions you may have. Located in the middle of nowhere though. No grocery store nearby if you prefer to buy your own food rather than dine out. They do have a restaurant but otherwise you'll have to drive to a local restaurant several kilometers away to eat more cheaply if desired. Not really close to any town to do any shopping, etc. Basically for golf enthusiasts only.

Pullout couch was full of sand and 2 of the 4 support bars were broken making it not usable. Other than that, the place was perfect. Beautiful view, walkable to ocean beach and golf. Staff were very friendly. The other real beds were comfortable.

I thought it was very dated and old for the price per night. The TV’s are ancient and the cable didn’t work on one of them. There were cigarette butts all over our lower level patio as well. Just seems old and could certainly use an update

We paid a resort price and while the room was nice, we had an in-window air conditioner. For the price we paid, we should not have had to deal with the noise and clutter of portable a/c unit. The rest of the hotel was top notch

This was a nice property with a great location close to the beach. The room needed some updating. The blinds were malfunctioning, the coffee maker didn’t work and the shower didn’t have hot water the second day we were there. Otherwise, it was a nice stay. The beds were comfy, the rooms were spacious, the location was quiet and perfect for a weekend getaway.

What an incredible location. The view of the water and the beach that is walkable distance was incredible. I had dinner on the balcony and not only was the view amazing but the food was delicious! My room was very spacious and clean. Out of all the Hotels I stayed in on my trip the bed here was the most comfortable. Highly recommend! 10 out of 10.

Very nice hotel and golf course. Only 2 things we were critical of. There’s no real lounge/pub for watching sports on the property that’s open late. The other thing is the TV in the room was old and small. Other than that everything and everyone was very nice and we will stay again most likely.

Beautiful property. Rooms were nice but bathrooms are small & dated. Food was great at both restaurants although we preferred the Crow's Nest overlooking the golf course. It was nice being able to access the beautiful beach after golf.

If I could rate them higher I would. They made us feel very welcome and above all they welcomed our service dog. Most hotels accept service dogs but they made us feel that he was as welcome as we were. They were knowledgeable about the area and helpful in finding other places to visit

Tis was just what we were looking for ib a resort. Golf pro shop was a walkable distance and the beach is nearby as well. The staff were great and helped us with anything we needed. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

We did a last minute trip from Nova Scotia to PEI and this was quiet, beautiful and charming. We enjoyed our stay very much. The golf course is very pretty, as are the views and the beach. Staff were excellent.

The resort is beautiful, and well maintained. The staff was always kind & attentive . We had a wonderful time!

Very nice property, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Front desk staff and wait staff in restaurant weren’t trained very well.

Overall a lovely location and good dining. Staff were friendly. Check in was poor - it took 20 minutes to straighten out. The check out as well was poor. They basically couldn’t check me out and I couldn’t wait. They said they would sort it out. I never got a receipt and had to call. The lighting in the bathroom is poor. You need to bring a lighted mirror to put on makeup. The room was nice and comfortable. The views gorgeous. I would stay there again.

The food at the restaurant cost as much as the room and the waitresses kept getting the order wrong for multiple tables. When I got my order they brought me potatoes and said the cook ran out of mashed potatoes. The table infront of got mashed potatoes after I was done my meal and we have to wait well over an hour for our order.

Beautiful property on the north shore of the island. Our room had a beautiful view of the golf course and the ocean. Weather was really disappointing so I could not golf but that's not the resort's fault.

The room (2 queens) was comfortable and clean, the grounds were beautiful as is the beach in front of the resort. Friendly staff, even though obvious some of the summer students are brand new - I'm sure they will learn quickly and gain confidence. The restaurant inside the resort quite nice but a shame it's not open for afternoon and evening meals. You are suggested to have those meals at the clubhouse. We found the clubhouse to be casual and not accessible for anyone who can't manage stairs. (I didn't see an elevator) Service was ok, food was ok. Indoor pool lovely, hot sauna, hot tub could have used another 5 degrees. I think based on the good rate I paid through Expedia, our room was a view of the parking lot and not the greens/ocean. That probably was a higher rate. I did find an extra charge on my credit card after we checked out and the hotel says it was an error that they are correcting. Always good to check your transactions on your cards.

Great location on PEI, beach access from property, relaxing atmosphere. Staff was very helpful. Would return again.

I liked that the golf course , resort and dining is in one location . Very conveint for a person who does not want to drive after golf . The food served in the restarant was devine. All the seafood and vegtables were from local farmers. The clam cowder was the best I tasted , ever .

Dispendieux mais certainement très belle endroit où rester. Nous avons pris une nuit et si c’était à refaire nous aurions pris deux nuits. Le choix de restaurant après 19h est très limité, il y a seulement les restaurants du complexe. Même constat pour le déjeuner, les restaurant en dehors du complexe ouvre à 11h ou 12h.prevoyez des snack et sandwich

Check-in was easy and smooth. Room and resort were very clean. Only thing is that some of the furniture is starting to show its age. Beautiful but worn. Time to update it. Only CON was that restaurant, as beautiful as it looked….was not open. Food was available at the club house, 7 minute walk away.
