Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Rossford - Toledo South

Next to highway which is great for on/off traveling. But horrible for trying to sleep.

Clean room, comfortable stay and convenient location.

The property and room were both clean and well maintained, but the swimming pool, hot tub and elevator not so much. The pool water was cloudy and had some sort of film floating on top. Same for the hot tub. The elevator also kept breaking down. Other then that my stay was good.

We stayed one night while driving home on vacation. The outside of the property is well maintained and staff are polite. We stayed in room 221, the interior is dated and needs a deep cleaning. When we entered the room it was stifling and had a smell of mildew trying to be covered by Pine-Sol. We immediately turned on the air conditioning, but even hours later it had only cooled off about six degrees. It was so warm, we didn't need to sleep with any blankets. In the bedroom, the sounds of the highway were very loud. I will say the blackout shades did keep almost all the light out. Our son was traveling with us and when he unfolded the sleeper sofa, the mattress had no sheet on it and it was stained and had food crumbs all over it. I went into the closet to pull down the bag of linens for him and there was none. He had to go down to the front desk to get linens and a pillow. He didn't need a blanket either thanks to the air conditioning only getting down to about 78 degrees. Breakfast was nothing special, typical hotel breakfast. There were quite a few people so that may be why there was no hot food or regular coffee when we came down. The manager did come around and let us know there was more food coming out soon, it took about 15 minutes but they did refill the eggs, sausage and coffee.
