This property has now been completely refurbished and the rooms are lovely and at a very good price. Staff are very friendly and having the bar/club house across the carpark is very convenient for both dinner and breakfast. We only had breakfast but it was a beautiful buffet with a very large range of food. Highly recommend this place.

Super nice, modern motel to stay in. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean, incredibly modern and nice showers. Lovely staff, even helped us with a late night laundry run. I call this place the definition of a one stop shop due to the restaurant, sports bar, bottle shop, hotel and motel - everything you need, all in one.

Check was easy, staff helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and well presented. Nice big rooms also. Bed and bedding were comfortable. Love that there is a washer / dryer and Microwave available for guest usage too.

Just pissed off when you come back at night and there is no parking cars are parked across the rd on the grass etc so couldn’t get to my room until after 9pm They need to do something about this for it will stop people staying there

Our room was just lovely modern clean we got a balony room and use it often. The only thing we didn't like was you had to share the car park with the tarven and came back to motel late no parking thats not right when told parkig available yes available but get there before the crowd

Second time staying here and not disappointed again. Sizable room, very comfortable and good facilities. Parking is plentiful and access to the hotel is simple and easy. Reception staff on arrival were helpful and informative. Totally recommend this hotel.

The rooms are modern and clean. Though the actual hotel its self is a bit loud with other guests being loud, but this isn’t the hotels fault. Good pub food at the Warners Bay bistro and onsite bottle shop.

This really is my favourite place to stay in Newcastle. Its lots of little things, its the lovely staff & the room service, its the easy parking & extended hours of business, its the location & the convenience, its the great facilities & the ease of mod cons including double headed showers & phone & media device plugins & a really good set-up for late night check-ins & security at all hours.

Room was comfy enough. Bathroom smelt like sewerage which wasn’t pleasant. The buffet breakfast was not good at all. Hardly anything to pick from, burnt bacon to no bread to make toast. Wasn’t very organised unfortunately

The only downside to my stay was that there were renovations happening at the time, but I was made aware of this prior to arriving and given the option of a full refund and to cancel my booking if I wished to. Aside from that, I will definitely return to the hotel when back in the area. The newly renovated room was amazing, comfortable and very clean, aside from a small amount of building dust on the glass table which obviously is only temporary. All staff that I came into contact with were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help. Reception staff were amazing as were the housekeeping staff, who helped me to take my bags down to reception upon checkout. The bar and bistro were amazing as well with a lovely modern look and feel and the food was delicious and fresh. Overall 10 out of 10!

Property was very clean, beds were super comfortable, bathroom and shower area was immaculate clean, staff were lovely to deal with as well. The adjoining hotel has nice meals and a lovely big area, bowling alley and go karting next door as well, and I will stay there again.

We have stayed here twice before upstairs and everything was great. This time we were in a downstairs room and the carpark outside our window was very noisey. As were other guests in the hall way.The room was smaller and not as well presented. The bathroom had a dank smell coming from the floor waste. Plenty of parking especially for larger vehicles. Food at the tavern was good value and tasty.

Rooms are nice. Very fresh looking. Staff efficient. Some issue's with the door but the staff helped and sorted. I have no idea why any hotel would stop breakfast at 9.30am and have a 10am check out?

The room was newly renovated with a comfy mattress and quality bedding outstanding value for the price. I paid for a room with a balcony thinking it would be an upstairs room but my room was on the ground floor which made it not very private when having a coffee outside as you are right in the carpark area with people coming and going. Other than that I would highly recommend Warners at the Bay the staff were very friendly and helpful and I will definitely stay there in the future.

I had the pleasure of staying in one on their newly renovated King rooms. Everything seemed fresh and nice, wonderful KingSized bed. Great bathroom.. sure, that massive shower head could do with more water pressure, but that’s me being fussy. I ate at the Bistro downstairs, and had the Chicken Schnitzel / mushroom sauce with Steamed Veges, and Mashed potato, which I enjoyed immensely. Good, unpretentious food, if a little expensive. Downsides? 1. Not exactly CLOSE to the bay, i.e. 5 minutes by car, about 1/2 hour walk. 2. The door lock is based around a Magnetic Card, which kept malfunctioning. 3. The view from my room was of the Frog Pond. You might like that sort of thing. All told though, I’m happy I stayed there.

We liked the place, very clean, conformable bed, good renovated room, however we could hear the tv from the neighbours, so we couldn't sleep easy, we could hear people walking at the corridors, the lift, etc. Wake up listening to the conversation from the neighbours next door before 7 am on a Sunday.

Room was nice with great amenities. The soap and shampoo smelled amazing, bed was comfortable. It was a bit noisy in the hallways so bring some earplugs. But otherwise was great!

There is always one isnt there. Someone who just doesnt have the same repor with customers as the rest of staff. Perhaps its just a brisk manner but when I have a guest at an appropriate hour & they are a bit of a loud talker, I dont appreciate a cleaner knocking very loudly & calling out 'Housekeeping' but by the time I get up & make my way with difficulty to the door, they are most of the way down the hall & werent knocking for room service but just to bark at me to keep it down. There is a reason there are reception staff trained in customer service & every other staff member has displayed polite & tactful skills in informing me of house rules when needed without offending me or unnecessarily making me get up & hobble to the door just to make their point, before flouncing out the door. Like I said, everything else has been great but unfortunately this small but upsetting display of bad attitude has really upset me & I really hope I dont have to engage with this person again before I leave.

Staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and tidy , the jug in our room was broken and there were no spare jugs in the laundry room etc , therefore we had to wait for staff to start work for the day before we could get a replacement ( a minor thing but quite annoying). Overall we have stayed at the motel quite a lot and have always enjoyed it .👍

Warners At The Bay is truly a gem in Lake Macquarie area. The room is comfortable and very quiet. It is easy to access tourist attractions plus the price is reasonable. The front desk staff members are nice & sincere. Highly recommended.

Just been newly renovated but still some construction at one end of the building only. The room and facilities were very clean and the room was fresh and light. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food for room service was varied and delicious. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely return often.

The food from the Taven is very poor , we have stayed at this Motel several times before and the quality of the meals has gone downhill . To the managers credit they gave us our money back . There was far few staff at the bar and the wait to get a drink was to stand in a que (10 min)
