Super cute cottage style property about 25mims from Cradle Mountain. Really spacious with a lounge/dining/kitchen and huge bathroom with spa. You so need to be prepared for this accom as there are no cooking facilitates, just a microwave and not much around. There is also no wifi and almost no Telstra service (1 bar of 4g). If you’re looking for something off grid that’s still comfy and warm this is perfect.

Great location, clean. Didnt appear to have staff onsite , no restaurant onsite and no ability to cook so microwave dinners or make restaurant reservations next town. A nice little store in Wilmot has necessities and assisted in sorting out restaurant booking as i had no reception. Loved that the little wallsbies were just outside my room.

It looked wonderful, and it was super scenic and very romantic getting away from it all. Most of the experience is fantastic. However - and it is a big however, Moina itself is just a cafe and art studio on a T junction with villas around it - so you do need to bring supplies with you. Unfortunately the kitchen, although providing a big bench space, had no heating surface - even an electric frypan would have done wonders for flexible food preparation (as we had in 2 other chalets immediately prior to coming to this accomodation). Difficult to cook an egg when there is only a microwave. In addition, we were recommended to bring microwave meals in an email sent out 48 hours prior to arrival - but it was a good thing we did not do such a thing as such food is usually frozen - and the tiny compartment in the bar fridge supplied would not store lfrozen meals - so my advice to others - is don’t do it if you are going to be there a few days - which is a little odd given they recommend it - but then do not provide a freezer space to match their own recommendations. Thus, either they need to provide a means to boil water in a pot, so you can cook tinned food, or they need to provide something bigger than a small bar fridge with its minuscule freezer if the microwave is the only food heating source.

Fantastic accommodations, Jamie the care take was a so friendly and even did a sausage sizzle with bonfire to stay warm. The only thing that could be added is a wifi signal booster. There was wifi in the shared bbq area but not in the rooms

Beautiful rooms but absolutely stop in Sheffield or Devonport for groceries. There is NOTHING else around and don't bother going to Wilmot Jamie the caretaker is very friendly, ask him about his music

Large self contained cabin, so come prepare for a home cooked meal - note no restaurant on site. There are others 15 - 20 mins away. I would recommend 2nd so you can go see the wombats in the late afternoon one day,

Location to Cradle Mountain was great. Visits from wildlife was awesome - echidna, pademelon, kookaburra and currawong. Bed was great as well as hot water. The bathroom had some mould. Kitchen area was a little run down. Cutlery and crockery were a little sporadic, with only one bowl. The property is a little run down but comfortable. Wondering with the for sale sign out the front is this the reason that maintenance/up keep hasn't happened. All that said, would stay there again.

the good - nice, clean, good lighting, warm room, cosy. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent water pressure, lovely after a day walking. Parking outside our door, fairly quiet. Easy check in and check out. The not so good - lower shelf on fridge door was broken, so you lose storage space in a small fridge. The shower door did not seal and a lot of water leaked onto the bathroom floor. Overall would stay here again.

We arrived to our lovely cabin, to find the bedside lamp and heater were on. The room was spotless .A beautiful large bed with lovely linen and covers. As an extra bonus there were heated throw blankets to use if necessary. The care taker and the cafe staff were very accommodating and friendly..Nothing was too much trouble. The only downside was that we had only booked one night Wish we could have stayed longer.

It was really clean and comfortable. Plenty of space and a good sized fridge. The bed was really comfy. The heater warmed up the room really quickly. is only 20 min drive up to Cradle Mountain. The only problem was that the 2 seater couch was most uncomfortable and i feel needs replacing.

Really lovely area and fantastic idea to place cabins amongst the trees the way they have. Gorgeous native wildlife around the place to look at and listen to, which is a big reason we wanted to stay in the mountains. Great bathroom and a decent sized room, however the room and bedding was very dusty. The couch had some unsightly stains (I'd be putting removable covers over those myself) Mattress was very uncomfortable (springs in your back all night) and there is no onsite reception (and limited phone signal even for Telstra) so its a bit hard to contact anyone when you need things. If you can be pretty self sufficient and don't have allergies or a bad back, it's good enough for a few nights and nature makes up for the lack in other areas

Cozy and warm with a good size t.v. Lovely bathroom, and a big bed. I felt that the the couch could have been a bit bigger it was just a small 2 seater which is a bit of tight fit for 2 Adults. And a coffee table would be good.

Room was in good condition No contact with staff. TV was difficult to operate. When we got it working, the screen questiomed us that we may have watched too much TV!!!! Unfriendly warnings, insisting on guests washing their dishes, othetwise a surcharge. No tea towels were made available I like ordimary black tea. Only one tea bag made available. There were a couple of herbal tea bags.

It was interesting. Due to some bad weather and Highwinds and electricity cable was down and we were without electricity for approximately 15 hours. The staff on hand with fantastic and accommodating and it was a fun experience. Love the area

Friendly reception on arrival, our room was quiet, comfortable and spacious. We were able to get a woodfired pizza and ither food and drinks which was very convenient. It was about 30 minutes to get to Cradle Mountain and the drive wasn't too bad. Phone reception is not the best if you depend on it. A good stay.

The cabin was neat and tidy, part of 4 joined units. Starting to feel quite dated though. the walls are a bit thin so you can here other stayers. Although warned how isolated it is and exactly what the facilities had it would be easy to provide a microwave at least or even an electric frypan. There was no facility to prepare meals. There is a cafe now across the road and we dined at a marvelous restaurant up towards Cradle Mountain also not mentioned. No reception on site and the grounds looking a little unmaintained, but all OK for a couple of nights.

The location was fantastic for touring around Cradle mountain. The ensuite room had toaster, kettle, microwave and a great size fridge. We really enjoyed walking around and had a great local wine along with a microwave meal among the birds after a few days hiking.

Very nice cottage, good surroundings, good parking, clean . Only problem is to make sure you purchase food to dine in if arriving early evening. There is close by a small cafe to purchase lunch and coffees.
