We have been renting with VRBO for the past ten years. This is without a doubt the nicest property we've stayed in. From the outside looking in, this beautiful three-story beach home is strategically landscaped so that guests don't see their neighbors--other than the beautiful osprey pair nesting on the far side of the salt marsh out back. We were left with multiple sets of binoculars to view them, as well as a grill and sitting area on the side patio for cooking, kayaks to explore the marsh, and more. The inside was immaculate and went on forever. Each of the updated bathrooms was spotless and each of the bedrooms had its own smart TV. Although listed as four bedrooms, there was ample room with couches and cots to easily sleep more. There were also smart TVs in almost every room. The owners were responsive the few times we reached out with questions. In addition, they left us with a useful guide with tips about the area. Centrally located, some "must see" places of note include Gillette Castle, the Essex Steam Train and Riverboat tour up the CT river, Block Island with ferries leaving daily, Mystic, Old Mystic Seaport and aquarium, Saybrook, Old Saybrook, Chester, Clinton, Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun, Deep River, and the list goes on and on. Also, if you like hitting up local antique shoppes, we didn't have to drive too far to find several group collectives with lots of very cool souvenirs to be had.We won't hesitate to come back to Osprey Cove in years to come..

Liz’s house is absolutely amazing!! The views of the marsh and sound are absolutely beautiful! The house is spacious, well-appointed and fully stocked! Besides the house being so amazing the host Liz was outstanding! She literally saved our Christmas holiday by being so flexible and accommodating after our originally booked rental fell through at the last moment. I would highly recommend Liz’s place to anyone and everyone!

The house was perfect for us. We had 4 generations and there was space for all of us. Loved the balconies and being on the marsh. I accidentally locked us out the first day and the owner Lizz was quick to respond. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The boys enjoyed the kayaks. And we all enjoyed watcing the birds when on their nest. Highly recomend . The neighborhood was very quiet.
