The staff was friendly. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The pool was indoors and smelled highly of chlorine. We didn’t go inside. I wish there had been a few outdoor benches or areas to sit and read. It was a beautiful night. There was one bench very close to the building.

I traveled to Knoxville for a business trip and, due to last-minute circumstances, had no choice but to book this establishment. Initially, the first couple of days seemed tolerable, though I began waking up with severe sinus issues. I also noticed an unusual amount of dust lingering in the air at random intervals. When the snowstorm arrived and temperatures plummeted, I was forced to rely on the heating system to stay warm. That’s when I discovered the horrifying state of the air filters. Upon inspection, I was absolutely appalled. The filters were coated in layers of filth, grime, and dust. To document the severity, I wiped them with a clean white towel—only to see it turn pitch black. The aftermath? Waking up each morning with a raw throat, a persistent cough, and worsening sinus issues. The air quality in this room is nothing short of a health hazard. It is clear that these filters have not been cleaned or maintained in months, if not longer. This is not merely negligence—it is outright dangerous. This issue has caused me to develop a severe sinus infection. As I write this, I plan to visit urgent care first thing in the morning to have a medical professional assess the full extent of the damage. I have now been forced to unplug the heating unit entirely, leaving me to endure an outside tem

Hotel was nice. Check in easy. Breakfast was better than average and refilled items quickly. Had to ask at front desk for blanekt and linens for pullout couch. We did find a pizza box that was in the closet and mold on the shower curtain so room could have been cleaned a tad better. Overall would stay again.

The third-floor hallway had a bad smell, but the room smelled worse. That was the least of the problems. Not once during my 3-night stay was the room cleaned, even after they were specifically asked to. The towels had been replaced, but that's all. The floors weren't vacuumed and there were visible fingernails, hair and other debris on the floors. The tub had a soap scum ring around it. The outside of the tub was splattered with something. Crumbs in the draws, spilled drink not cleaned up, ripped and stained ironing board cover. The flood mat under the refrigerator was half falling out from under it and lying on the floor. So much more to complain about, but I think you get the idea. None of these things in and of themselves is horrendous, but put them all together, and it makes for a pretty dirty room and obviously incompetent cleaning staff. I hope the next screen allows me to share photos, because it was gross.

This hotel should not be rated as an 8.8/10. The sheets were not well-cleaned, the comforter was stained, and the area under the mattress of the pull-out bed clearly never gets cleaned. The heavier blanket stored in the closet very visibly had several strands of dark hair on it. Tiles of the bathroom floor were cracked and wobbly and there appeared to be mildew around the tub. The room also smelled AWFULLY of cleaning chemicals and there was no window to open to air it out. We got an unlucky room for which the window was located right behind the hotel sign, so we were looking at concrete a couple feet away and got zero natural light let alone any view. The breakfast seating was not adequate; 6 of us had to crowd around a small table that would be snug for four and we saw another poor family doing the same. Definitely not worth the cost at all.

We got in late. It seemed safe, quiet, clean. Bed was very comfortable. It’s next to a hospital, and has a 5 Guys burger place in the parking lot. It seemed like a lot of people staying overnight for work. The parking lot was already empty when we checked out a bit early. Would definitely stay here again!

Came in handy after a UT game. Not willing to pay astronomical prices like downtown. Hotel was clean and seems newer/upgraded. Could use new mattresses but bearable and tall people may have an harder time in the shower with the type of shower head they use. Overall would stay again.

The guest services member (older man, with grey hair, wasn't wearing a nametag), along with the head of housekeeping (Andy), were rude not courteous, and not hospitable, at all. The hotel "goal" is "for each guest to have an outstanding stay." Our stay was ruined by these two employees. Their unnecessary hateful attitudes and statements are the sole reason I wouldn't ever recommend this location.

I stay in hotels often. At least weekly. Everywhere I stay falls into a median budget range. This is the best hotel I've stayed in at this price range. It was very clean, the facilities were well kept and up to date, and the service was so wonderful. Even checking in at midnight the attendant was very friendly and cheerful. The next morning I was met by the same great attitude from a different gentleman. I will stay here from now on when in town!

Need to have more than 1 staff working at check in time. I waited 20 minutes to check in as there were 3 people in front of me and a guest having problems getting into his room. This required the one staff person to leave the front counter to go to the room to assist.

I was impressed with the cleanliness & comfort of this hotel. The hot tub was a welcome benefit after coming in from the cold outside temps. The breakfast included eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles, english muffins, cereal, packaged mini donuts & more. An attendant was quick to wipe off the tables as guests finished. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I needed a place to stay in the area.

Everything about the facility and staff is always great.The room was spotless, quiet and the mattresses are terrific. We stay at this location often and the only thing we could ding it for is the breakfast. We feel it is sub par especially the coffee. it is the only area in the whole place that has not been upgraded. The eating area is fine, it’s the food that is not desirable. Thanks for giving the opportunity to let you know our feelings, I Ihope it is helpful in improving a good hotel.
