The property is a bit dated, but good for a stay over for boarding a cruise . The best feature is the cruise shuttle at a very reasonable price of 5€. If they can offer a shuttle service from the train station to the hotel that will even be better, the taxi drivers at Civitivecchia station are thugs, they will change the agreed price upon arrival ! Very bad experience to begin the journey!

This hotel is wonderful! The room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was very good, and the staff was courteous and friendly. I highly recommend dinner. We had some of the best carbonara and pizza I have ever tasted. The airport transfer was very easy. The driver was waiting for us, right outside customs, with our name on a sign. We also used their transfer to the cruise port the next day, which was great and only cost 8 Euros.

The hotel picked us up from the airport - on time and we had a comfortable ride to the hotel. The room was made available to us early, and it was clean and quiet. They also hooked us up with a transfer to the cruise port in advance of our upcoming cruise. And, we had an excellent meal at the hotel - and two free breakfasts. I woiuld use the hotel again. First I will start with the positives...the staff is amazing. Everyone from the drivers for the transportion from the airport and to the port, the people who work the front desk and the restaurant staff. The food at the restaurant is amazing for a great price. Now for the cons...The location is outside of the city center so it's quite a hike into the city center to do anything. Supposedly there is a public bus but we waited 45 mins at the stop and no buses came. We also tried to get a bus back and the same thing happened. So we walked into town both days, first day took a cab back and second day we walked. The rooms are small, beds are hard and the fridge doesn't keep anything cold. The showers could be cleaner. But for the price and just 2 nights, it was fine.

Dit hotel als overnachtingshotel. Kamer in bijgebouw. Kamer en badkamer zijn erg smerig en wordt slecht schoongemaakt. Ruimte is vochtig. Hotel wordt met name gebruikt voor mensen die gaan cruisen. Ontbijt minimaal. Douche en zeepdispensers zijn vies. De verwarmingsplaat in douche ligt een laag zwart vuil Eenpersoonsbed in kamer kun je niet op liggen. Poten wiebelen alle kanten op. Het hele hotel is t.o.v. de sterrenkclassificatie slecht onderhouden. Ik ben een ruim ervaren hotelovernachter, maar dit kan echt niet. Classificatie is maximaal **. Er is verder in Civitavecchia niets te beleven.

The owners/staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a festival with loud electronic music close by which ruined the time outside but the upgraded windows of the hotel helped a lot. The decor is in serious need of upgrade. The dated wallpaper and border was peeling and damaged in spots. The old curtains were ugly and the door lock didn’t work. There was dirt/mold at the inside base of bathroom door, but the bathroom and hotel were otherwise very clean. The breakfast was great. I wouldn’t stay there again until they get rid of the ugly dated wallpaper and curtains— an easy fix.

Transport from airport and from hotel to cruise ship great. Food was good. Except as for sea bass dinner they need to SPECIFY it’s a a whole fish head and everything. When I asked to debone it, they were kind enough to do it however massive amounts of bones were in the meat. Bed comfort is just ok. They need updating . Internet access was good.

Parking is reasonably priced and very convenient. There isn’t much so make sure you park early. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was very good with many options. Unfortunately, the place is super old and in dire need for a renovation. It is a shame that it is stuck in the 1970’s or 80’s with outdated everything. Walls, decor, showers, etc. the air conditioning was weak and you couldn’t lower it below 20.5 and the room felt hot and uncomfortable. The hallways were hot, and you could hear the people in the other rooms. If this hotel was updated, it would be an upscale place. It says it is 4 stars but it felt the same or worse than a 2 star hotel from the states.

Service was excellent! They picked us up from FCO (for a fee) at 1am, then gave us a late check out so we could sleep in. A short drive to the port (again, for a fee) to the port for our cruise and we were good to go.
