Positives - great location to shops and places to eat. What needs serious attention is the cleanliness and safely of the room. Cigarette butts outside the entrance. Furniture and carpets need a serious clean or even better - replacing. Also, one two seater couch not enough for a room that’s designed for 5-6 guests! Kitchen needs a good scrub. Shelving is filthy from previous guests’ cooking. Many of the plates cutlery etc were dirty. No shelf / caddy in the shower, no water protection (like a shower curtain) around the stand-in spa bath, so water goes all over the floor when having a shower. No soap on one bathroom . Rubbish inside the bathroom cupboard from previous guests. Broken light switches. . Skybox propped dangerously on top of TV. A few Screws poking out from wall in bedroom. On arrival it was a very cold night however windows were open in the unit which made it freezing. Thankfully there were electric blankets on single bed but no electric blanket on the double bed. The spare blanket found in the drawer was covered in previous guests hair and a sticker! Some missing lightbulbs. Cleaning, safety and maintenance really needs improvement for us to return. Finish with a positive - appreciate there was a coffee plunger!!

Probably the worst motel we have stayed in in NZ, in recent years. Would strongly advise to avoid! It’s dirty, and cold, horrible beds, and no service other than towels replaced. Days with rubbish not removed, floors not hovered all week! Air con wasn’t working until my husband cleaned it! Items broken such a cracked light switches, and drawers broken. Mold in both the bathrooms, and hairs under the sink area from previous guests other in our group had complained but nothing changed! Just terrible! We left the place one night earlier!
