My husband and I had a fantastic stay! The onsen was incredibly relaxing, and the night pool was so much fun. The sea was rough because of the typhoon, but lifeguards were on duty, which made us feel safe. The breakfast buffet was amazing. There are so many options, and the food was delicious. Oh, make use of the hotel shuttle bus! Very reliable and no reservation needed. Beautiful location, relaxing atmosphere, and an overall wonderful experience. We’d definitely stay again!

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, however they did want to upsell everyone on a bigger room. They tried with us and others I heard at check in. We were there second weekend of June, which is "off-season". This meant that the pool and 2 of the restaurants were closed. Only one restaurant and the onsens were available. This is a bummer because we booked it for the hotel because of the kids/teens. We went back and read the fine print on hotels.com and it does say it's closed. Just wish we would have seen that. They offered games to borrow so that helped to keep the kids busy. The area was also very quiet so it was hard to find a place to eat. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, but just a little outdated. The breakfast buffet included a large variety of Japanese and Western style breakfast. Everything was delicious! The onsen was a nice retreat after the day. Being next to the beach and tidepools was a plus. We did the nearby seven falls hike and that was definitely worth it. Very close to 2 different train stations and a free shuttle to the main one made travel easy.

This hotel was something else. To our surprise the rooms are two floors. Which worked out great for our family. The two restaurants in the resort are amazing. We ate dinner at the Japanese restaurant and we are still taking about how good it was. The beds were so comfortable and sleeping with the sound of the ocean was next level. Kids loved the pool and beach too. I found colorful seashells and sea glass. The breakfast was also so good and we ate outside so not only was the service great but also the view. We used the onsen and foot onsen and it was so relaxing. We hope to come back soon.
