My stay at NH Oviedo Principado was very enjoyable. The hotel’s location is outstanding—right in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance of the cathedral, the theater, excellent restaurants, and many of Oviedo’s main attractions. The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout my stay. My room was spacious, comfortable, and the air conditioning worked exceptionally well, which made for a very pleasant stay. My only criticism concerns the breakfast. The variety and quality of the food selection were excellent, and the coffee was very good. However, the hot breakfast items, especially the eggs, were cold. I don’t enjoy eating cold eggs, and I didn’t feel comfortable asking the staff to reheat them. In hindsight, I would have preferred to have breakfast at one of the many nearby cafés. Despite this minor issue, I would gladly stay at NH Oviedo Principado again. It is an excellent hotel with a fantastic location and attentive staff. Next time, I would simply skip the hotel breakfast and enjoy one of Oviedo’s local breakfast spots instead.
