We stayed in the motel section of the property. The walls are paper thin and you can hear every word someone next door is saying. The first morning we were woken at 5am by some workers leaving for the morning, which included heavy swearing and listening to the guy pack for 15mins. The second night there was a wedding or event of some kind and the cars pulling up were really noisy. The people next door were talking for hours and we could hear everything they were saying. We were facing the pool area so every time someone in high heels walked through it was loud. If you stay here BRING EARPLUGS!!! The room size was ok but with the sofa bed out you couldn’t get to the sliding door which went out to the pool area. Bathroom is small but adequate, I did like that the shower had a door as so many hotels have moved to door less showers and the water goes all over the floor area. Restaurant is on the expensive side but the view is nice even though you overlook the carpark. There’s an undercover non-heated pool and a heated spa but it wouldn’t take many people to crowd it in summer. The reception and restaurant is nicely decorated and looks like it was renovated recently.

Loved the view! We reported a leak as a result of the storm on the weekend. The carpet inside the front sliding door was saturated. We were asked if we wanted to change rooms but were happy where we were. Connor at the desk said he would arrange for us to have a free breakfast on Sunday morning (which we were over the moon about). Sadly on coming home I see from my bank statement that I have been charged $64, presumably for the breakfast. The other disappointment was the spa buttons didn't work so no bubbles. Saturday the water felt warm but Sunday barely warm.

Best location in Bunbury. Our room was spotlessly prepared and all furnishings were as new. The proximity to the ocean was amazing. Pool and spa/ sauna were great facilities. Pool and spa water was chilly.

Great location, pity the facility was tired and needed a refresh. We booked a 'poolside' suite, but wasn't aware that it overlooked an internal pool and spa facility, fully enclosed in a glassed-in area. The smell of chlorine permeated through the 'suite' when the windows were open to allow 'fresh' air inside. Also, the room was dark with limited natural light.

Mold in bathroom. Old uneven silastic repairs in shower. No complimentary water. Can buy small water for $6. No tissue’s. Dirty coffee cup left in room after cleaning. Very tired old hotel .would be an embarrassment for international visitors.

I have stayed here previously which is why I booked here again. After my booking I was notified the pool was unavailable due to works. Upon arrival I asked if the sap and sauna were still in use and The lady said no due to safety reasons (works). I went for a walk outside heading to wards the beach and I could see people using the spa etc. For me bathrooms and beds must be clean. The bed was fine but the bathroom needed attention. Mould in the shower, grouts, silicon missing, leaking externally in the corners and door frame made from wood roting away.

The room was of good size and the bedding was OK but it had the dirtiest carpet I have seen in a hotel. Also the shower screen has a little mould where the glass met the metal. The restaurant was great. I had the best steak sandwich I have ever had and the service was great. Service checking in and out could not be faulted.

The property is in a great location. With regards to the cleaning, there needs to follow up, window sill was not clean ,very dusty, and a couple of dead flies, windows need a clean the bathroom is great apart from the shower screen which has some black mould around part of the door.

Room was well overpriced for what it was. Paint peeling badly in the sitting room and bathroom. Tiles and other areas were not clean. Very rundown. Shower area so small you couldnt use it without hitting youre elbow on the taps or the shower curtain. Rooms are not soundproof - could hear the neighbour snoring and others talking. I paid $240 and will not be going back. Id say $160 is a fair price.

Dinner at restaurant was very average to poor and expensive so very disappointing. Rooms had small ensuite and not cleaned well and carpets were stained and tired. Will not stay there again.

Lovely service up at the restaurant. The booking was for one Queen and one king bed, but we were given one king and one single bed which was dissapointing. The place needs an upgrade - very dated and old. Scenery was beautiful! Rooms are not sound proof, could hear people next door.

Rated as the best in town might be an overstatement. The building has been refurbished a few times in its life. Being built from beater blocks the noise from adjoining rooms travels easily. Out of the 6 possible neighbours it likely to have one that is inconsiderate. The room was cold despite the air conditioner being set on 24. There is a sign on the aircon not to change it. Probably a sign of the building’s age. Given the high price the room was a bit underwhelming. Old, cold and noisy.

Accomodation getting old, needed maintenance. Shower leaked into bathroom everytime it was used, so floor was flooded. Had to use all the towels to mop it up. Bed was broken, inner springs on one side of mattress had collapsed. Windows and behind bed was filthy, however the remainder of the accomodation was tidy and was up to standard. Told staff about the issues (bed and bathroom flooding) upon exit, said they would look into it. Reception wasn’t open on times stated (730 am), waited around for 15 minutes after opening time, still closed. Couldn’t speak to staff about problems even on phone provided at entrance (use when reception is closed) Got charged twice on credit card for breakfast after we checked out. Spoke to reception later over the phone, said they will look into it. Still waiting for refund or even confirmation that they will reimburse. Disappointed with stay. Wouldn’t come back.

Have pics but there's no uploading option here. Mold on walls, holes in bottom of outside door, inside sliding doors not secure, full breakfast downgraded to continental due to staff shortages, key cards fail... to top it off... during the stay, the staff ababndoned the premises!!! No one on site for at least 18 hours! Guests had to help new guests check in (no, I'm not kidding). Then, next day, the staff member at front desk was rude and dismissive about the past day's site abandonment. More to tell, but running out of space here.

I booked a one-night stay at the Mantra and had a gorgeous view from the ocean to Bunbury City and the Estuary. The staff at check-in were friendly, and check-in was quick and easy. The room was perfect for one person.

Mantra Bunbury is an excellent place to stay. It is very close to the lighthouse, the ocean, and the Rotary Tower. The Tower view is brilliant! Breakfast at the Mantra is great, with a nice ocean view.

A little disappointed as on arrival i was told no restaurant and no room service available. Breakfast was only serving cereal, toast, muffins and fruit as they were understaffed. The lady running breakfast was absolutely amazing. Fantastic customer service. Our room was okay. Carpet looked old and tired with iron burns noticeable, the room next door was very loud and there seemed to be no sound barrier between rooms. Staff were all very lovely aside from these issues.

It was a motel at a hotel price. Very small room, uncomfortable sofa bed and tiny, dirty bathroom. Paid for breakfast to be included and found out at check in that it wouldn’t be the buffet. It was disappointing at best…toast and cereal. Wouldn’t book this place again.

A few things that were terrible about this property: You could hear the people in the next door rooms. We had a ping pong table outside our sliding door, and children were bouncing ping pongs at 6:30am. We had dinner in the restaurant - Steak Sandwich bun was burnt and the Fish and Chips were soggy. When the waitress asked how our meals were, we explained exactly the above, and her comment was, 'What would you like me to do about it!' We weren't rude, we were just advising. We definitely won't be returning to this hotel.

We were unable to book a table at the restaurant for dinner on the Saturday night as there was a private function & there was no notification of this at check-in nor any signage saying so. We went to breakfast the next morning and it wasn’t until after I had paid that we realized the price for the buffet was pricier than normal because of Father’s Day, even though there wasn’t anything extra put on or special about it. The staff at reception gave us conflicting information to that of the staff in the restaurant & there seemed to be an overall lack of organization.
