Booked this motel last minute on our drive from Tweed HDs. Pleasantly surprised on arrival - looked so lovely & almost tropical. The owner greeted us & was friendly & helpful - parking directly outside our room. Our room was very spacious with a queen bed & single bed - nicely decorated & Plantation shutters. The kitchenette was a very good size & well appointed. The bathroom was nice & clean - all the towels were rolled neatly (fluffy & grey a nice change from white) & a good range of complimentary bathroom items. Had a good night’s sleep & awoke to rain on the roof. Very nice accommodation & we wished we were staying longer. We will keep this motel in mind for our future travels - thanks for having us. 🤗

Thel location of the property was perfect, the motel was very comfortable and it suited our needs beautifully. I will stay at this motel any time I am in Ballina again. The pool is really nice and quiet large and if the day had been a bit warmer I would have had a swim.

We were pleasantly surprised with the refurbishment of this motel. The room was spacious and comfortable and had a small dining table along with two comfortable chairs with a footstool. The room also had a well equipped kitchen with microwave. The outdoor pool was a nice bonus and beach towels were supplied. The manager was friendly and obliging. We would stay here again.

Plenty of kitchen items in a kitchenette that had a sink so no filling a kettle in the bathroom. The air-conditioned room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The outdoor room near the pool was a great space too.

The room was very clean and vehicle parking was easy. Really liked the pool, BBQ area and in particular the nice seating area you are able to take a cup of coffee or your favourite drink.

This was a lovely little spot for an overnight stay. Quiet area. After reading all the reviews was a little disappointed with some aspects of the room. Room was clean and tidy and well set up. Just the table to sit at was tacky to the touch and when I was getting the kettle out there was all crumbs around the toaster. Overall it was lovely and would definitately look to booking it again. Due to personal reasons for doing the trip I did not get to enjoy the pool although this area looked beautiful and relaxing. It is right near the water with a walking track not far away where you could have a relaxing walk along the water.

Didn’t care for this place. Floors were dirty and sticky. Bed was raised up I guess for cleaning but wasn’t lowered. I was able to fix it but I’m sure some people would not have been. Would not stay here again.

Pleasant enough little motel but interesting Balinese furnishings don’t quite hide the age. Pull out bathroom mirror was a nice touch but towels were horrible. I didn’t get any service in two days so can’t say what it was like except to say there was no feeling of welcome. Taking out your own rubbish, poorly written and presented guest manual and mould in the shower grouting is NOT 4 Star! But quiet, mostly clean and just a few metres from the river,

The room was good although the bathroom is a bit on the small side. Cozy little boutique motel for the price. Only potential issue, which thankfully we avoided, is check-in time was by 5:00 pm. We drove up from another location and arrived at 4:40 and lobby was closed. Tried to call the number on the door but unsuccessful. Thankfully the associate showed up to check us in. He had previously texted me about arrival time but I was driving and couldn't respond.

The room was very large with nice decor. It was quiet. However the bed was very uncomfortable with hard sides and sank in the middle. We did not have a good rest after a long drive.

Nice, spacious rooms, enjoyed having a lounge and a table to sit at. The shower head really needed replacing, sprayed water everywhere but down. Was a bit noisy as a close to a main road. Overall, enjoyed my stay.

Stayed in the Bali suite which is a great room with lots of space and very clean. The bed is large and comfortable. Could do with window double glazing due to traffic noise.

Great room, modern revovation to the room with a nice tropical/beacy vibe, very well equipped kitchen and bathroom amenities, good location and easy parking. Pool is under reno but no need for it now in winter any way but would love to see how it turns out when done. The only fault I could find at all was the showerhead,literally only thing, loved the property

Nice stay in Ballina. Ground floor units in a quiet location. Bedding comfortable and the kitchenette a bonus. Bathroom is roomy and modern with lots of towels and face washers. Very reasonable.

Very nice, functional and very clean accommodation. The lady booking us in definitely is in the wrong job. Very unfriendly and not at all helpful. Office was locked during business hours. Had to call to get in. Took a call while I was trying to book in and just waved me out and told me the key was under the mat. No info about the area or even basic hotel info included (I.e. wifi password)

Excellent service all round, wonderful facility, smart TV, lots of hot drink options, modern kitchen with loads of utensils, very good bathroom, parking at the door, air con worked a treat, good value and near the river walking track. I wish I stayed more than one night. Thanks Andre for your service. I recommend this place in Ballina and very happy to give it a 10/10 rating.

Lovely comfy room, good sized kitchen. Pool area a little oasis. We arrived a bit after reception closing and they hid a key for us and communicated clearly where it was, stayed in touch via text to ensure we were in and settled. Lovely property will stay again.

The Motel is along one of the main roads in Ballina and noise increases in the morning as traffic commences. It's convenient enough for work, but probably not so much for holidaying. Not a deal breaker, but good to know: there is no daily room service at the Ballina Palms Boutique Motel.

Convenient location for everything we wanted. Shops, beach, clubs and pubs all within a 5 minute drive. Some traffic noise but not unbearable. Free onsite parking. Nice pool area. Comfortable night's accommodation for us to break up the 8 hour trip to Brisbane.

really nicely kept property. being from a country town, there was a lot of road noise - the adjacent road is a busy by-pass. close to the river for nice flat walk. not close to the main precinct, but not too far by car. the staff were helpful when asked; the rooms were not serviced daily reason: COVID (not sure how COVID is a reason)

Lovely 3 night stay in a spacious clean and nicely decorated room.The bed was comfortable and the shower great and the toiletries very nice. The motel is in a good position and not far, walking distance, from an enjoyable bowls club. The owner was very pleasant and informative.

A clean, comfortable, well maintained motel. It is away from restaurants but it's easy to drive to them only approx 5 min drive. No food options onsite though there was a kitchette in my room. I have no issue staying here again.

Lovely spacious room with all that we required for a great one night stay. A good flat 20 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Beautiful shampoo,soap ect. A make up/shaving mirror provided. I would definitely stay here again. We also enjoyed a beautiful sunset while enjoying a delicious dinner at the Wharf bar and restaurant in the town centre.
