For what i needed, it was fine. I was traveling, and just needed a place to lay my head down for the night. Its not a place that id stay at for multiple nights on vacation. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean enough, but the heater and all is outdated, and coffee maker didnt work.

The Inn is an older one but appears to have been nicely remodeled not too long ago. We were quite satisfied as it is clean and quite roomy enough for the two of us, with microwave/fridge. The beds were comfortable.They don't have a breakfast, so you do have to drive into town to eat. It probably wouldn't be safe to walk as there are no sidewalks, plus traffic moves quickly. All in all, a decent place to stay.

Very clean and comfortable. Handy parking right outside the door. Choices of places to eat within short driving distance. Only negative… I could hear voices from neighboring room. Excellent price. Will definitely stay again on next trip.

I'd be careful with this place. We had reserved for two nights, and two days prior to our reservation we received a text that it was canceled owing to "room problems." When we called to learn more, the owner was very hard to understand. We found a room in a nearby town, and then the owner called back and said we could come for the second night, which we decided to do. The owner apologized again for canceling the first night but we still couldn't understand the reason why. The room itself was fine--very clean and comfortable. There was no breakfast, which we realized would be the case, but also no coffee nor hot water, which seems kind of basic. After we left I discovered we had been charged more than the price on our reservation. It was only a few dollars, but still. I would not go back to this establishment.

Room was big so I could have family over and kids had lots of fun playing outside with lots of room outside. I could walk to stores and my dog was happy to!! Staff was very friendly and always asked if everything was good. I will stay here again.

The room had the basics: tv, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker. The paint looked a bit shabby but it was clean enough. No tissues, no ice machine or vending machines. It was a basic room and the price was good. The best part was a huge grassy area for walking our dog.

Stayed at the Autumn Inn for a quick ski vacation. The hotel is old but perfect. Warm room. Hot shower. Firm beds. Clean. Backed our car right up to the room to bring snowboard gear in and out very easily. The Autumn Inn is not a chain hotel and don't expect that. Basic lodging in Vermont at a fair price.

The room we were given had a soaked carpet. I took off my shoes and the carpet squished between my toes. We have No idea why it was so wet, the whole room. It could have been toilet over flow,sink leaking or rain coming in threw window. But it was way to wet to be a little rain.

Old property with minimum maintenance. Room was clean, towels, etc. were adequate, but heating unit could not be shut off completely and room became uncomfortably warm during the night even with window open. Would neither recommend or return to this facility.

The 2nd room assigned was better than the first room assigned. The door seal was partially missing, and bugs were getting into the room - in the I as well. I could not identify the bugs, and I thought they were either bedbugs or small roaches. Staff immediately transferred me to another room which was better. The ad does not show the actual building with motel rooms which is disappointing - paint was peeling off of the building cornice, and it is more than out-dated - looks rundown. The ad shows the personal home and attached office of the owners or managers.

A very well run establishment. Owner/operator very nice and accommodating. Everything worked in my room - no unpleasant surprises. Walking distance to town. Motel itself is dated for sure, but the professionalism of the owner more than makes up for that.

Room was very clean and we had no reason to be unhappy. Did find our coffee carafe damaged, we reported it and had a new one in less than 2 minutes! Super service. Will stay there again if we need a place to stay in Bennington, VT.

Neighborhood seemed a little rough. Room was clean, but had bathtub and no safety handles. I’m 70. Fall hazard for me. Didn’t feel entirely safe in the area. Will choose a different hotel next time.

This place is fantastic! So clean and well-kept. Little things like a printout of restaurants and directions added a really nice touch as not to be presumptuous that everyone has means to find places. Great location on your way to Mount Snow or Okemo and you don't want to waste an expensive night. Best of all, the staffs were super friendly.

This is a nice little hotel run by nice people. It was very clean and we slept well. We walked on sidewalks about a half mile to a good pizza restaurant. Excellent value and a great experience!
