Buca Mat Hotel By Tahtalı

Great stay .. my fault in that I expected more people to have a sprinkling of English .. but no! So things in Buca were a little difficult .. but the hotel itself was lovely, food was good, the ladies cleaning the rooms deserve special praise and the shower was to die for! All in all - I'd have stayed a bit longer if they'd given me a room with a balcony but 'it is what it is'

We stayed at a hotel called Buca in Izmir. Overall, everything was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast definitely added value beyond its cost. However, there was a management issue that could easily be resolved and would greatly enhance the guest experience. The hotel management should personally inspect the reserved room before the guest arrives. After a seven-hour journey, we were really tired when we arrived, and unfortunately, we were met with some issues. The bathroom sink was leaking, and the floor of the room was so dusty it felt like no one had opened the door in years. I’d like to thank Mr. Veli for his respectful and kind attitude. He promptly came, cleaned the room, and helped us switch to a better one. The hotel has a very good location, the room layout and cabinets are excellent. However, the TV was not connected to the internet, so we had to make do with a small screen showing only local antenna channels. In general, the stay was good and worth the price. The facilities are nice—just a little more attention to management would make it much better.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was comfortable, and well-equipped everything I needed for a relaxing . But what truly made the experience special was the breakfast team. Every morning, they greeted guests with genuine warmth and bright smiles. The food was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully presented, and the team worked like a perfectly coordinated unit. Their attention to detail, friendliness, and professionalism really stood out. A big thank you to the breakfast staff you made my mornings feel like home. Highly recommended.

We stayed only one night, the room was big enough for a family of 4. It was clean, the breakfast was reasonable, good amount of options...price performance is very good

It was good. Service was good. Breakfast could be better, more options but overall ok. Room service was good. A lot of markets and restaurants nearby. But no parking. Have to find on the street and its not easy. Little loud inside. You can hear the street. Windows need to be more noise reductive.
