We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the secure parking facility. The room was very clean and comfortable (though lacked a microwave and fridge needed defrosting). Had a large ensuite and private outside sitting area.

WIFI is so slow that I won't be staying there again as I rely on being able to work from my room when travelling for work. Generally some cleaning and painting is required in the outside areas and the bathrooms are getting dated and need a thorough clean.

Almost all was excellent. Bed was a bit hard, but no ones fault. The TV was essentially useless. Internet ability was not there for streaming of anything. Told to cast my own device to TV, but phone service not great there either. All not that big, but in principle, a real bummer. Restaurant burger was GREAT, and breakfast was excellent as well. All, a great value short of the TV issues.

Check in is slow; arrived 1.45 and had to wait until 2pm to get the key. I had a 2pm meeting and the Oaks don't have meeting space or a work space for guests as most places used for business would have. I booked an executive suite and was given the accessible room for people with a disability - located next to the kitchen bins (stinky and ants) with no blind on the kitchen window, so light at night, and no shelf or benchspace in the bathroom - just a sink on the wall. The Oaks obviously don't value people with disability if this is the accommodation they offer them; by coincidence, I was in Broome working with disability services. Meals are average, and the menu is the same as it was last year. Wifi is terrible and the chair at the desk in the room is made of cane and the wrong height for working; this hotel does not cater for business guests at all. I am in Broome frequently for work, and have stayed at the Oaks multiple times before, but I won't be back. Poor service at reception, average food in the restaurant, no amenities for business travellers, and I didn't even get the room I paid for.

Everything in the room was dated, the shower had no door or curtain, water everywhere after shower. The bed linen was much shorter length to the bed ( wrong size bed linen) . The safety deposit BOXES WERE both out of order. The lift to the room was out of order., etc etc etc The hotel should have been rated 3.5 star maximum, not 4.5 star, which was misleading.

Reception staff were all wonderful and helpful. Room itself could do with a lift, a bit tired, and the curtains were really quite dirty along with one of the cushions on the bed. Good location with a bus stop just a 2 minute walk away. Town beach only a 5 minute walk. Overall, our stay was comfortable, just a little disappointed in the cleanliness

The room was not cleaned during our 4 night stay You could not get a coffee or tea during the day After breakfast the restaurant/Bar remained closed until 5pm, the pools are really good & the pool areas are clean with plenty of lounges

The hotel gave me an upgrade from a studio unit to a 1 bed apartment which was nice however the unit was not very clean with dirty ceiling fan and the kitchen sink didn’t look as though cleaned for some time. One of the bedside lamps didn’t work and the batteries in tv remote almost dead. The only restaurant on premises was open for dinner and breakfast only and the coffee machine was not working with no coffee shops nearby. The restaurant served food that was not properly heated and the eggs served with breakfast buffet appeared to be powerded eggs, they were like rubber. Service in the restaurant was also very poor and items on the menu were overpriced and did not provide much variety

we had stayed at OAKS in Melbourne and it was very good. This OAKS was not the same quality. While the staff were pleasant and helpful,the room was a disappointment. Two of the pillows smelt awful. the shower grout was brown to black in parts. the floor was the same condition. There was no shower door and the floor outside the shower became very slippery when it got wet. The toilet was black inside? Maybe from the poor quality of the water.

Oaks is always best to stay. It's so close to the local watering hole, supermarket, beach even a karaoke restaurant and local museum! I make every effort to stay at Oaks when I'm in Broome. The rooms are always fully functional with all the amenities in order and the greatest thing with the rooms is that it's so private and so noise-proof! Nice place!

Room allocated was overall ok. However certain things just showed lack of care. Piece of wood behind the curtains. Kitchenette a little sticky. Fuse box cover broken and just simply left on the floor at the enter point of room. Old and small TVs. Nice fridge and comfy bed with plenty of pillows. Spacious bathroom. Shower head needs replacing. Safe not working, suspect needs new batteries. Staff friendly enough. One of the two swimming poolsnot in use. Nice pool area. Limited and boring dinner menu. No one was using it during my stay. Location very good.

The Oaks Broome is in an excellent position: opposite Town Beach (Thursday night market) and the Museum, near the bus stop, not too far to Matso's Brewery. The one bedroom apartments are spacious and we had a balcony overlooking the large swimming pool. The restaurant has good food and you can take it to your room. There is a laundry available.

Everything was great except the checkin. I had emailed, called etc days before booking to ensure my friend who arrived from Perth had nothing to pay when she arrived. This do not occur. Very disappointing. Ensured I have been left highly disappointed

I stayed at this hotel twice. The front desk manager was extremely nice and helpful. He even assisted with a small issue that was not even related to the hotel. Highly recommend the Oaks Broome Hotel.

To arrive and check in is normally a seamless process, however with a couple ahead of us having some difficulties with the process and at least two other staff milling about doing not much at all and with a separate check in desk available, I’m not certain why this other desk wasn’t available to expedite this process. After waiting 10 mins and with others also waiting behind us to check in, I’m a bit baffled as to why the other staff couldn’t simultaneously process the other guests

Oaks is always best to stay. It's so close to the local watering hole, supermarket, beach even a karaoke restaurant and local museum! I make every effort to stay at Oaks when I'm in Broome. Great place to stay in Broome. Breakfast and dinner are excellent and recommend. The airport transfer bus was late. However, this is beyond the hotel control and not their fault. We used a taxi to get to the airport which was convenient.

Generally we were very happy with the venue and staff. Dinners was high quality. Only one issue -Our first breakfast was very unsatisfactory, i needed to ask for black tea as there was none, we waited 5 mins for bacon while our other food cooled, i asked for croissants as thete were none, there was limited seating as most tables were covered with dirty plates. Not sure the reason for this as it was not the case on following days, but we were tempted not to return after the first instance.

Our accommodation was beyond our expectation. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Restaurant food was delicious and well priced. We could not fault this hotel. We had a 1 bedroom poolside apartment.
